The best restaurants serving Indian food in Glasgow and Surrounding

I am not in the habit of doing this but felt beyond disappointed. The Sag had no flavour. It was like tasteless spinach soup with potatoes. The Rogan Josh had fluorescent red tasteless sauce as did the other dish. Chapati was fine. The delivery person was polite. When I phoned the manager I was offered a replacement for one dish or credit. I looked forward to real a Rogan Josh but sent it back because it tasted the same as the first neon red dish. £42.50 for one of the worst take aways I have ever had.

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed! The korma and ceylonese sauces are delicious. We get a friendly welcome and excellent quick service. Recommend booking ahead for a weekend evening.

Beautiful food, portion sizes were definitely only for one person most will.need 2/3 dishes. Quite pricey when you do this. Cocktails, drink and food service was good although there were only 1/2 other tables dining. Lights out in most of the gents toilets ....other than that Beautiful.surroundings and we will visit again.

OVERCHARGING ! I have been warned by a friend Tandori staff overcharge - i have ignored as never experienced their dishonesty. Today I have ordered a small kebab, a large kebab and a portion of chips. I have been charged £15.40. 2min later when I questioned the pricing as it didnt add up. The guy handed me back £1.30 admitting he charged me too much. None of them were surprised nor did they apologise. I would suggest to be mindful.

Tengo la suerte de vivir en Arran, Escocia, una isla de belleza excepcional con un montón de excelentes restaurantes y pubs; sin embargo, a Arran le falta una cosa: ¡un buen restaurante indio! Vine a Glasgow por trabajo y para visitar amigos, y para tener un curry decente. Mi amigo reservó una mesa en Ashraf’s Kitchen para la cena. La comida que nos sirvieron era sin duda no decente - era excepcional. Definitivamente, esta no era la comida india corriente del molino; sí, tienen los clásicos, pero su menú también es emocionante y original. Los poppadoms fueron servidos con 6 salsas y dips diferentes - impresionante. El cordero en el biryani se derritió en la boca tierna. El mejor biryani que he tenido por lejos. Fuimos servidos por Teena Ashraf cuyo entusiasmo y orgullo en la comida que este restaurante familiar sirve se sumó a toda la experiencia agradable. Todo el personal que habló con nosotros era servicial y amable - nada era demasiada molestia. Pronto volveré a Arran y no sé cuándo tendré la oportunidad de volver a Ashraf; sin embargo, hay una posible solución... ¿Qué tal abrir una cocina Ashraf en Arran? ¡Necesitamos buena comida india! In Glasgow for the night and found Curry Cottage near to our hotel. Just what we needed. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommended. Recommend the haggis pakora starter!

KoolBa is very high on the list of great Indian Restaurants in Glasgow. Indian food can be on the heavy side but at KoolBa it is generous portions, fresh and light without losing any of the flavours. The menu has all the usual favourites and a good number of slightly different dishes. The staff are first class and the surroundings are very comfortable. I highly recommend.

Wondeful service and food for very reasonable price. Will definitely return!

La mejor comida india que hemos probado en mucho tiempo! El pollo con mantequilla era el mejor. El personal era increíble, no podía recomendar este lugar lo suficiente! ¡Es una lástima que no esté en Leeds!

Great service, brilliant food and friendly staff. Both left as burst couches, the valentine's menu was perfect and was priced fairly, will definitely be returning.

Un restaurante indio pequeño pero acogedor, visité con mi marido, la comida era normal pero el servicio era estupendo. Precios muy razonables.

Have used Kebbabish Plus for many years and think it is the best Indian takeaway in the area. Great choice on the menu and great prices. Are available via Justeat which is usually the way I order and the delivery is always quick and within the time instructed via Justeat app. When I have been into collect my order the staff are always pleasant which sometimes in takeaway places is not often found. Would recommend the chicken tikka breast meal or the Munchie box. Both are amazing! Will obviously be using this takeaway again!

If you wish to sit and wait and wait and wait for the gentle but uncaring staff to finish executing whatever topic of conversation they seem to be sharing, or have a normal innocent salad prepared so spicy-hot even a seasoned Indian would gasp for breath, then this is place for you. Next time, maybe mention in your menu that your innocent salad isn't really so innocent.

Excellent place to stop for some Indian food. Staff are friendly and helpful, it's Indian tapas style food and they keep you right about the amount to order. Plenty of choices. Reasonable price.
