The best restaurants serving Indian food in Doncaster Yorkshire and The Humber

Visited for my brothers birthday. Restaurant was lovely inside seating arrangements plentiful. Ali was our waiter and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Very informative and attentive. He asked why we were there and then even brought out desert with a candle before we left for my brother! Food and drinks were both well priced and very tasty 😋 Will definitely visit again!

Esto debe haber sido alrededor de 50 veces que los hemos utilizado y ni siquiera pensaría en ir a otro lugar. Sigue con ese gran servicio.

I have just found out that this Indian has the same chef that Ashoka had😎😎👍, this is fabulous as I thought Doncaster had lost its best Indian chef! So I couldn’t wait to order from here. The food was just as fabulous as ever. I had the Jangli Mirch and my wife had the Chicken Tika masala. So my Jangli was so tasty full of spices not greasy and was not too hot. (I will ask for it to be hotter,chilli hotter next time as I love really hot curry). My wife’s tika was amazing too silky smooth with lovely subtle spices. This is by far the best Indian food I’ve had for a while. I’m sure whatever you order from here you won’t be disappointed and probably won’t eat anywhere else. HAPPYDAYS.

We organised a large corporate dinner and were served the set menu, which was delicious. The service was relaxed and friendly for the whole event and we would definitely choose to dine here again should the need arise. Thank you to Jay, Reece and the team for making our evening such a memorable one!

The staff looked after 5 hungry bikers, and had great food.

Excellent food and very good portions would highly recommend this restaurant a little out of the way but we’ll worth the travel

My Experience always starts front of house, the service was the best I've had in a very long time. They were exceptionally kind with my kids and very patient with them which Will always be a plus for me. And the food was beautiful.

Edit Again. Theyve screwed it up AGAIN. 1 star food hygeine now and resorted to Pataks AGAIN. Wont order again. Instead, if you're happy to collect, go to Madras in Norton. Its run by Jay, the chef at Masala 10 years ago. He even remembered my name and street when I asked for it with extra garlic and ginger. Eating that was like going back in time. Edit, the guys have turned this place around in the last 18 months and I would recommend again and have been using regularly. I’ve also had numerous conversations along the way with the new owner. They are now backto being the best in Doncaster. For reference, here’s what I wrote after they had taken over. “Sorry guys. When you took over masala a few months back I was impressed. You went back to doing things Jay style (Jay was head chef at masala 7 years back) and I was happy that you’d rescued masala. Unfortunately that didn’t last long. My last three orders have been very Pataks which I can buy in the supermarket. To add to the misery, todays order has what I thought was glass in it (turned out to be a molten sugar cube). I’d eaten hardly any before discovering it nearly breaking my tooth. Who knows how many more there are as I haven’t eaten any more. I’ve commented on masala for a lot of years, giving high praise where it was due and letting masala know when they were getting it wrong. Ask old Abdul or Jay (you know them). Some of your recent Google comments have been good and it’s no surprise because when you took over it was good but anyone thinking of trying them now, don’t be fooled the older photos, they are nothing like what I’ve received lately. One comment is that the reviewer had eaten all over the world and that yours was the best. That was true for me at one time (Jay time) and a comment I left before old masala struggled recently. It’s up to you guys to turn it around but if you don’t, check back on these comments in 12 months when you are wondering why it’s failing. This is Doncaster. £15 for a curry, rice and naan isn’t cheap. Especially if it’s no better than my non Indian missus can make at home. The people will vote with their feet.”

Mi esposa y yo visitamos de nuevo esta semana junto con dos miembros de la familia y tuvimos una comida relajante juntos. Disfrutando de un excelente servicio junto con una excelente comida. Hemos visitado este restaurante regularmente y ahora venimos semanalmente. La comida siempre es buena. Nos gusta especialmente la variada selección en el menú y el ambiente relajado y el servicio.
