Fantástico restaurante y comida para llevar visita y ordena regularmente! Siempre recibido con la más cálida de las bienvenidas - no comería de ningún otro lugar

Una amiga nos recomendó este lugar y estoy tan contenta de que lo hiciera y decidimos probarlo! Vinimos aquí por mi cumpleaños, el servicio fue excepcional, todo el mundo era muy amable y acogedor. La comida era hermosa, tamaños de porción razonables y a un precio justo. Fue el mejor indio que he sido también y es delicioso! Incluso decidimos volver la semana después, y también de nuevo esta semana! ¡Recomendaría encarecidamente lo que ya tengo a mucha gente! ¡Muchas gracias!

Mi esposa y yo visitamos de nuevo esta semana junto con dos miembros de la familia y tuvimos una comida relajante juntos. Disfrutando de un excelente servicio junto con una excelente comida. Hemos visitado este restaurante regularmente y ahora venimos semanalmente. La comida siempre es buena. Nos gusta especialmente la variada selección en el menú y el ambiente relajado y el servicio.

El restaurante se encuentra en la zona de Armthorpe de Doncaster. Conseguimos una mesa de esquina tranquila y pedimos una parrilla de mezcla y un curry. Encontré el relleno de la parrilla de mezcla, pero no siempre sabroso. El cordero tikka duro, el kebab buscado era promedio. El ambiente estaba bien.

Llamado la semana pasada como parte de un grupo de 5 ... el personal estaba claramente ocupado y había un montón de comida saliendo para las entregas a domicilio ... nuestra comida y servicio fue una vez más de primera categoría ... el chef claramente sabe cómo crear una cocina muy sabrosa y como tal ellos el lugar es popular para los pedidos a domicilio ... esto puede llevar al personal a ser menos atento, pero en general (en mi opinión) esto es bueno, ya que conduce a que la gente no se sienta apresurada ... si estás en la zona recomendaría desafiantemente el Bayleaf para su cena ... ¡GRACIAS!

The Food was lovely....really authentic and tasty... I would have given a 5 star all round but there was one little gripe.. one of my party ordered a Bhuna with a hot sauce... the waiter upon realizing the sauce was not hot immediately took it away and did not bring it back for 10 mins...he never gave my mate the chance to try it.... but I would DEFO recommend the Bay Leaf for any food lovers...

Ordered popadom with tray (only sauce) food came and mine was wrong dish so they quickly did the right one (everything undercooked) spoilt our Christmas Eve dinner. Oh and service is terrible very slow. Find another restaurant if you want good food and good service

¡OMG es el mejor curry que hemos probado en años! Vaya, no te decepcionarás, si el cordero cocinado lentamente, incluso le presentó a mis amigos, ¡estaban sorprendidos!

Absolutamente hermoso para llevar esta noche Pollo Pattis y korma se derritió en la boca. A base de cebolla crujiente y no grasosa Sin duda recomiendo esto sobre otras comidas para llevar en el pueblo

En primer lugar - ignorar cualquiera de los llamados rumores sobre su calificación de higiene . . . su 5 de 5 . . . llamado anoche como un grupo de 8 . . . el personal era amable y eficiente . . . la comida era encantadora . . . no, vamos a llamarlo genial ! ! no hay quejas en absoluto . . . era tranquilo, ya que era una noche de mitad de semana, pero sin duda recomendaría buscar este lugar y probar la comida . .

It’s usually brilliant but the food was under par this time and the last few times they have messed the order up and when you call to question this, they don’t care. Customer service is shocking. I order quite a lot from them but I’ll be taking my money elsewhere

This Indian is the best one in armthorpe..the food is good and tasty,especially the vegetable korma and bhuna as they are packed with different vegetables..the chicken tikka main course is great(but a couple of extra pieces would make it even better). I definitely recommend this place 😊

Wow best Indian food in a very long time

Best restaurant and takeaway in Doncaster when come to Indian food! Genuinely we wouldn’t order from anywhere else now. Eating in great service & it’s not very often the food tastes just as good when having a takeaway but from bayleaf it really does! Freshness is fab too! Thanks again guys!! We will see you again in restaurant in a few weeks. But the takeaway tonight was lovely!

One of the best chefs in the Yorkshire! Authentic taste, great prices and portions. Absolutely happy! It’s a local gem! You gotta pay cash but it’s worth it. Can’t wait to go back there.

Tuesday evening and very popular, food was really good will definitely return

Ordered....After an hour n 10mins rang to.see where it was...was told 10 mins it went out the door. After 15mins returned call as still.not arrived. Was then told it was going out the door again. After another 15 minsrang back n complained. Manager didn't like that and cancelled the order. Abysmal customer service. Order elsewhere.

Food was cold when it finally arrived. Oh and they got the order wrong. Won't be ordering again.

Tried the Sunday banquet . It costs 18.95 each and you receive poppadoms and pickle tray , any starter , main course and sundries ie rice , naan off the menu . Food was tasty and spicy although not as good as when we have visited previously. My husbands main dish was red in colour and very sweet . Would not recommend this dish I think it was lamb makhani?. Lamb was tender though , however my main was delicious and would order again . 😋

Disappointed tonight not up to its usual high standard. My korma was mainly in the bag not the dish. Lid not on properly. Food was ok but not as tasty as normal.

Lovely visit once again to bayleaf and beyond! The staff are lovely & always welcoming! The food can sometimes take longer than they say which suppose can depend if busy however they have never got our order wrong. Awesome quality & great range of traditional Indian dishes!

The last few times we’ve ordered from Bayleaf & beyond in Armthorpe have been poor tbh. It is so inconsistent. 😩😡 I order king prawn jalfrezi and the sauces are always different! This week it was a thick gloopy red with not much flavour, like something out of a jar. In August I had 8 king prawns in a curry, this time I had 3 and a half and the rest was packed with veg. For £34 for two people, they’re having a laugh! 😱 We’ve given them the benefit of the doubt but we’re done now. We’ve run out of places to get a good a curry, so it looks like we’re gonna have to find somewhere else to get takeaway on a Saturday 😬 😩

From booking over the phone to leaving, the customer service was amazing. The atmosphere when we arrived was really good. The food was fantastic, the flavour's and the choice. The onion bhajis and the garlic naan breads were a real hit. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend people to go.

ordered a takeaway for collection, as we always have done, was missing our onion salad which we always had with prior orders, rang them to ask why we hadn't received it, the response from the guy who answered was " the guy packing your order in the past was feeling generous and we don't send out complimentary onion salad or salad bags,wow oh wow is all i can say, so the restaurant is busy yet your online orders suffer, will be ordering from shimla from now on, the customer service was not good,

Had a takeaway very disappointed on this occasion as its usually spot on not up to the standards it usually is

First time trying here and we were both well impressed! I always think a places ability to do a good Indian Bhaji starter is a decent indication of what level of curry you’re likely to get.. and the bhajis are tasty, ball shaped (which they should be right?) and a decent size.. not the cricket ball sizes I remember from my first ever curries back in the early 90’s.. but big enough and a very nice starter! The curries we’re both excellent.. probably the best I’ve had in Donny.. The Lamb Handi was absolutely on point.. plenty of good quality meat in a spicy, deep flavoured sauce! Naan breads if not massive, were big enough and the peshwari complemented the intense meaty Handi flavours perfectly. Byo booze is a bonus (imo) with a couple of off-licence next door if you forget to bring some. Will definitely be back.. our new go to Donny Indian!

We have only just recently discovered this place. Just been for our second visit in less than 3 weeks. The food and the service is extremely good and very good value for money.

Shocking customer service they think because they put free chips in its acceptable that they didn't put a starter in. Wouldn't recommend what so ever!!!!

The food was delicious.... really authentic and well prepared !! the service was on the whole good... atmosphere nice !! I would most definitely recommend if you fancy some nice Asian food - I would have given 5 stars if not for 1 small moan... one of the party ordered a Biryani with hot sauce... upon arrival the waiter realized the sauce had not been prepared properly and took it away... sadly this left my mate eating a dry Biryani for 10 mins... but apart from that really really good....

Really impressed with the meal we’ve just had. Plenty of meat and vegetables, nice and spicy for the Madras and staff curry. Lovely mild/medium chicken tikka biryani. Will definitely be back.

Came here for our 6th wedding anniversary. No problems booking. Meal was absolutely gorgeous. Staff fantastic no rushing us to eat up quickly. We had starters and was told to let them know when ready for main . We will definitely return here again. Thanks to all staff.

Ordered a butter chicken and found a dark hair in the butter chicken rung up and complain but did.nt take my complaint seriously so I will be avoiding ordering in future was sick and chocked on the hair

I've always championed this place. But tonight we had less amount of lamb chops for a starter, than we usually get. Very tough, overcooked. Very little lamb in jalfrezi. Most of it was fatty. Never have I had such a poor delivery of food . Currys were all sauce and onions. Sub standard because its new years eve. Questioning if I would recommend or order again.

This place is fantastic 👏 very quiet upon arrival, but that was down to football playing. The staff are great polite and friendly and i personally didn't feel rushed. The Food wow ,I couldn't find anything wrong with it tasted nice and temperature hot. Well done guys keep up the good work and I hope to see you soon 😊

Catered well to our large party, food all came out together and correct which was impressive. The only issue I had was that the staff at times seemed as though they didn't really want to be serving us. Not that I expect huge enthusiasm, but at times it felt as though we were almost being avoided

I just don’t get the good reviews! I’ve tried many times over the last couple of years to find something good to say about Bayleaf’s food…. No matter what I try from here, it just doesn’t live up to my expectations! I don’t expect much tbh… just flavoursome, quality food with the right amount of spice suited to the dish. Last night I had a Fish Karai as a takeaway and have to say, without a doubt .. it’s the worst takeaway curry I’ve had. It was a lack lustre, tasteless gravy with the minimum amount of fish…. 5 small pieces, bulked out with huge chunks of partially cooked onions! No chick peas, no peppers, no corriander or any other ingredient. In fact it was so lack lustre the whole lot went straight into the bin! Out of convenience we have ordered limited takeaways from here since it was taken over … but convenience cannot take precedent of quality and flavour…. We will travel that bit further to Tickhill to pick up a quality, flavour rich takeaway from Taj Cottage.

Went there tonight and what a gem in Armthorpe, the food was amazing and the service excellent. We will definitely go again.

Food is very good and freshly cooked. Don't bother with the poppadoms- although they are fresh, the pickle tray comes straight out of 1 gallon drums. Try the freshly made starters- a vastly better option.

We visited as a group of 16, the food was tasty and the team catered to individual requests for different spice levels and ingredients without any issues. We had starters and main courses plus various rice and breads, no one had anything negative to say and my meal was spicy enough and had plenty of flavour. I tried the meat puri starter and chicken tikka nawabi for a main and they were both nicely spiced , about Madras hot or so. The restaurant doesn't have an alcohol licence so you take your own drink of choice, they do provide water on the table. The staff are very friendly and flexible we will definitely go again.

First time we have ordered, we asked for the Dupiaza to be extra mild, it said this on the lid...I was anything but, it was awful...hot and bitter, also charged for a Naan, wasn't in there, we were offered that they would have gone back, food would have been cold by then, offered a refund for the naan. The Korma's were lovely, however we received a massive tub of onions, not too sure why, I mean easily 3 big onions worth, would have preferred the naan. Not great overall. Not sure we would bother again.

Absolutely great meal tonight . We first tried them last week then ordered again tonight and what a meal. The meat just melts in your mouth and the flavours are so good. After not ordering from any Indians around edenthorpe for a long time think we've found the place to go. I recommend this to everyone to try.

Had a takeaway with parents, wasn’t all that! Have eaten from here before both in restaurant and takeaway but this time it wasn’t upto scratch because the beef madras had zero heat (spice) and neither did the rezala which is normally like a jalfrezi heat. The egg rice didn’t have much flavour just tasted salty. And the green dip that comes with the pickle tray tastes of nothing, needs more mint & yogurt or something. So all round not the best one we’ve had.

We were there at the weekend with friends and we have been going to all of our local Indian restaurants in Armthorpe for many years. I have to say this was one of the best curries we have had in a long time. The owner even informed us where the Naga chillies were imported from for our curry. EXCELLENT food and service. I would definitely recommend.

Great food and equally great service, had many Indian meals in various restaurants and this was up there as one of the best Busy Saturday with lots of customers seated but they still served quality food and looked after us very well Not licensed so take you own drink if that's your thing

Absolutely beautiful, Meal was on time , part of the meal they forgot but when mentioned they were fast to sort it out also because we decided to take remaining food home as it was quite alot. To this they boxed it all up and they gave us extra servings we did not ask for. We will return again

Collected our take away . Its our 1st time we have visited Bayleaf . The meal was prompt and no hanging about x the chicken jalfrezi was amazing the best I've ever had . We will definitely be returning and may even dine in next time . 10/10 Mark & Maxine jenkinson

We ordered the Sunday meal deal and it was the first time trying the food here! Very disappointed. The main meals were bland, the extra samosas were no better than supermarket bought. They missed the poppadom off the order it all was full of salt and food colouring! No authentic cuisine here I'm afraid! We won't be ordering any more. Should have stayed with elachi !!

Just had delivery of a beautiful Indian meal from Bayleaf and beyond in the village. Absolutely loved it but there was so much I couldn't eat it all so will have the leftovers tomorrow. The best food we have had in a long time.

Best Indian food I've ever tried! We got the Sunday special take away deal, and we couldn't be happier with the selection and value for money. Would especially recommend the tandoori kebab mixed starter, garlic naan (best naan I've ever had!), lamb bhuna and chicken tikka masala! Definitely 5 stars, and we will without a doubt return!

Food was average. We ordered paneer Briyani, garlic naan, tadka Dal. Paneer was very hard to eat, Briyani was tasteless without any salt. Garlic naan and tadka Dal are okeyish. I hoped to eat well but disappointed totally.
