Naaz in Doncaster

Not eaten here went first time today.. they don't take card but happy to bank transfer..so professional 🙄🙄..have my sons birthday in few months so tried to quiz the guy who was there looking at About a booking of 30/40 he didn't seem bothered at all.. considering the economy you would think they would jump at the chance ..seemed to have very poor attitude definitely needs a few classes in customer service totally shocking.any way was definitely not going or booking there ..ended up eating at @popadomsandcream in town as per usual brilliant food and service..and i payed on card 🤣 Avoid this Dodgy poor run eatery 😡😡

Top quality scran at Naaz 10/10. Went out with the family for mothers day, ordered a starter (chicken chaat) which was the best I've had and for the main dish (chicken & prawn madras and a garlic naan), which again was delicious. Top service and banter to top it off, thankyou all.

Best Indian restaurant takeout about always happy and satisfied with the food and service we usually order a collection ready in 20 minutes fantastic

Visited Naaz this Christmas for a change, we was first introduced to popadoms and some Christmas crackers along with dips, then we shared a mixed starter which was delicious, as we chose the 4 course Indian meal, our mains consisted of 4 different dishes between the two of us along with naan bread and rice. I must say this was a lovely experience and really filled us up. They also had 4 different desserts, I chose the gulab jaman but there was also chocolate gato and christmas pudding with custard to choose from. Will definitely come next year, thanks for giving us an exciting Christmas lads, see you in the new year 🎉🎊

Eat here often but with being disabled now we decided to order in and there were several items missing from the order and also when we ordered the prawn starter we expected more than just two tiny prawns for a dish that cost more than £5!! Very disappointing and the food wasn’t up to its usual standards as everything tasted spicier than usual. Willing to try it again but tonight’s meal has been ruined not very pleasant especially for the amount of money its cost us as well!!

We came here as a family for Christmas dinner, the service was spot on, we were made to feel welcome and the atmosphere was great with lots of laughter all around. The food was absolutely beautiful and very plentiful (3 courses) We all came away happy with our bellies full, will definitely return in the future

Highly recommend this place, booked Christmas dinner last minute for 7 of us and could not have enjoyed it more! The food was absolutely gorgeous, 6 Indian Christmas dinners and 1 traditional all cooked how we requested. The chicken korma melted in your mouth, chicken was lovely and tender!! The portion size was brilliant not one of us came away hungry, in fact it probably put us in a food coma lol (plenty to go around even with a large group). The staff were very welcoming and joined in amongst the laughs with family. The staff were very on the ball when attending the table to clear dishes and serve new ones, not a bad word to say about anything. Christmas songs were played and decorations up around the building made us feel very warm, the atmosphere was lovely!! We will definitely be returning!! 😊

Always a friendly and warm experience. Lovely food and great staff. My favourite dishes are the garlic tikka and they do an off menu masala fries if you ask.

Ordered food after waiting over an hour contacted the restaurant just to fobbed off and told a pack off lies. No food and out of pocket please avoid rip off attests reading the rebuts not the first time they have done this to customers.

Decided to try somewhere different for a change, some friends seem to visit regularly so thought it would be nice. Service was friendly and prompt, but sadly none of us were impressed with the food. All the curries were obviously reheated sauces rather than fresh and rather tasteless, I feel mean but it was on a par with a low cost supermarket ready meal. We ordered a naan that is described as 'stuffed with cheese' on the menu and sounded interesting - absolutely hilarious, I don't think there was a scrap of cheese in it. The cokes we ordered to drink were flat. On the plus side, the meal was quite inexpensive, but we didn't feel offered particularly great value. Couldn't be bothered to complain, mainly as the meal was inexpensive, but won't return.

Food amazing but order through just eat to be delivered. It said it had been delivered but hasn’t! So called naaz didn’t want to know? Spent £40 plus and was not interested. Said call just just eat? Come on? My food turned up and it was lovely, not hot but nice. I can’t believe that Naaz don’t care once they have your order and money ? So disappointed. If you can’t track the order Naaz don’t deal with just eat ?? don’t compromise your business

We ordered 4 meals . 3 out of the 4 made us all ill with the chicken not being cooked properly. I’ve been really sick and unfortunately coming out of the other end too . And also my pregnant partner was admitted to hospital with bad food poisoning. When we phoned up to complain I was called a liar and then they put the phone down on me and they have ignored the messages too 50 pounds spent and this is what I got from the place. I wouldn’t of even given it a star but haven’t got a choice If you want a good meal - find somewhere else because this place will make you ill….

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AVOID! We had 2 chicken kormas and a tika masala. The chicken was pink and not cooked properly, I am pregnant and have bit into this curry and have now been admitted to hospital with food poisoning. The naan bread was slimy and a lump of dough. Staff was rude on the phone and said we was lying about the problem. Never again! This seriously harmed me and my unborn baby!

Did not eat in but when I collected food was one drunken man sat at bar not eating. No atmosphere! Food was rubbish. Had tikka masala and korma with onion bhaji and rice and garlic naan. So korma really just comes smooth with chicken and sauce but masala was same nothing but chicken and sauce. Some people love this but I don't it like the chicken is just thrown in with whatever sauce you choose. No substance to it. Not all bad though. A little greasy but onion bhaji was big and tasty!

Absolutely amazing. We travelled up from Cornwall to see friends so we had to go to our favourite place Naaz. The food was fantastic as always & I was craving my absolute favourite Prawn Royale & it was as delicious as I remember. It is always our first choice for a curry. The food, service & staff are all first class & its BYO so its not even an expensive night out but its a brilliant night. I cannot reccomend this place enough & I can't wait til we are back up north for my favourite curry again.

Ordered large amount of food to the value of nearly £50.... Waited an hour and half. Driver did not arrive. Order status was showing delivered on just eat. After waiting further I contacted the restaurant who was the most rudest person I have ever dealt with in customer service! He spoke down to us! Whilst complaining just eat takes half and he can't help me because just eat are in charge because it's got nothing to do with them. He wasnt interested. Felt like an attack even though I paid for my meal. I use these on a regular basis but sadly won't be using again as we are left with no food and no refund and genuinely disappointed! Won't recommend anymore. The owner or staff don't care about how they treat customers. I'm a business owner in Doncaster and it's been awful service. If I could give a 0 I would but it won't allow me to.

Food was nice and fresh. We ordered for a 6.15pm pick up. Cash only and only took my card which annoyed me a little as nearby ATM didn't have any cash. The quality of the food however took away the negative feelings of cash only! The best onion baji I've had ! Samosas very small portion but great flavour. Dips and salads all fresh. Nan bread nice too. Would definitely order again. Hopefully the size of the samosas may get larger!!

Naaz Restaurant on york road, is the best indian I've ever visited. I ordered the chicken badshahi, highly recommended as it is full of flavour and nothing like I've ever tasted before, the menu contains a surplus amount of dishes all unique and descriptive making it hard to choose. Next time, i will try the chicken naga which the boss had recommended to me, thank you very much naaz, can't wait to come down soon. Keep up the good work👍

Since Christmas, been visiting naaz every now and then for a authentic Indian, nice to see how the boys are always cleaning and keeping everything nice and spotless, the food was fab as always and portions are perfect, can’t wait to go back again, thank you for the service naaz.

Noting to the with the restaurant. So YOU CAN’I blame the restaurant It is unfair to the restaurant.

We’ve been visiting Doncaster over the Easter holidays. Bumped into this restaurant as we were passing by and so glad we did! Truly authentic and flavourful dishes. We’ve been twice and we wish we could stay for a few more days, to try more out of their varied menu. We recommend the Machli Biran and the Saag Paneer especially.

Visited Naaz today for the first time for my sisters birthday and all I can say is absolutely gorgeous! lovely staff so friendly and even better food. Will definitely be coming again.

Rang for a takeaway. Told it would be 20mins and when I arrived 20 mins later the food was ready. Second time we have had a takeaway from here and once again the food was excellent. The place is spotlessly clean and all the staff are well presented and friendly

Called in again for a Friday night takeaway. Ali and the guys were as attentive as always, with a nice bit of friendly chat. Ali let me open my bottle of beer behind the bar (they are no longer licensed and it's bring your own if you want an alcoholic drink). Ali took my order and, as my wife likes a biryani but with hotter than standard biryani sauce, they cook it at madras strength for us. I had a chicken katta masala which was as tasty and spicy as always. Some poppadoms and a cheese naan completed our order. There were a few parties eating in and were enjoying their meals. WE would certainly recommend the Naaz and will be back.

Hugely gone down hill, it's now bring your own alcohol but soft drinks are avaliable. Corkage fee applied of £1 per person wether you buy soft drinks of not/bring alcohol. Also cash only, no card accepted. On a Friday night the place was empty by 9pm we were the only table left in the place. On to the food, well starters were not very tasty, side salad was just raw cabbage. Chicken in both dishes was very bouncy and seemed like cheap pre cooked frozen chicken peices, like something in a microwave curry. Tbh it was terrible, wouldnt want to attempt to eat that again. Wasnt asked if we wanted to take the food or if something was wrong as not eaten. Myself and partner left both of our mains as the quality of food was in all honesty terrible. While we were sat eating food, lots of just eat drivers waiting, so it seems this is now more of a takeaway rather then restaurant grade food. Tbh the quality of the food would make it a poor takeaway. Avoid unless you enjoy cheap cuts of meat, colourings in food or you enjoy an Iceland curry.

Visted naaz on one of the hottest days of the year. Luckily it was fully air conditioned. Food was absolutely amazing, pickle tray came with 5 unique dips, there’s a variety of starters and mains to choose from, well managed staff and not too pricey. Would totally recommend, best Indian restaurant in Doncaster.

I'm so disappointed as I have been to naaz alot but the standards have certainly dropped . My husbands main meal was tasteless ( chicken tikka cheese ) reminded me of tomato soup with grated cheese thrown on the top and the chicken was chewy ( almost uncooked ) and my tandoori mixed grill was cold ! Lamb chops had very little to no Lamb and what Lamb was on the chops was stringy . The mushroom rice was dry and tasteless. I asked for 2 pints of coke and both were warm and flat !! Then to top it off the prices have increased costing us an extra £8.00.. shocking and very disappointing.

Another return visit to the Naaz. Ali and the guys know how to make a good curry. They are always willing to customise your order (my wife likes a vegetable biryani but prefers the sauce at madras strength). I tried the chicken desi massala for a change and found it good and tasty with just the right amount of spicy bite. The poppadoms were, as always, light and crisp and the cheese naan was good and tasty. A couple of things to note if you are thinking of going. They no longer serve alcohol, but allow you to bring your own for a small corkage charge which is donated to charity - I always take a bottle of Cobra to enjoy while I'm waiting. Plus they can only accept cash on the premises although if you order online you can pay by card. Thanks guys, another enjoyable meal!

The restaurant looks great and has a good ambience ; it doesn't serve alcohol, but you can take your own. It's cash only, which caught us and a few others out. I had to make a visit to Morrisons to use the cash machine. The staff were attentive and looked after us really well, the wait from ordering to receiving our food was timely .The food was full of flavour and the portions were a good size

Great Indian restaurant, we were a party of 6 and we all loved the food. Friendly staff prompt service. It's a bring your own alcohol house, I know this is not to everyone's liking but it took nothing away from food or the experience. I had the traditional Indian desert, it was amazing I would definitely recommend this!

Just been with friends ....absolutely Wonderfull place ..Chicken Narga and Garlic Naan the best I ever tasted....we all had different dishes and all thoroughly impressed....the staff are wonderful and the manager has a great sense of humour ....The Post box outside !!

booked in for christmas dinner and had the indian option, was not dissapointed as all the dishes were lovely. the only negative was that they ran out of beer.

I’ve always heard really positive things about Naaz so we decided to try it. I was told how busy it gets so we went at a time I thought it would be quieter (Sunday at 8pm) They only take cash which is annoying. Who carries cash anymore? Then we ordered. There was only one type of beer. Less than 5 mins after we ordered our popadoms came. We finished then no break in between starters came. I ordered onion barji. It was awful! It was definitely frozen and reheated. The onion was raw, it was very mushy and tasted very chemically. 4/6 of us had finished our starters then they cleared the table. How rude when people are still eating! Then 5 minutes after starter main came. There was only three tables it and it felt very rushed like they wanted us out. My main ,I ordered Chicken Tikka masala I thought was really nice, very sweet. A very deep red. Then we ordered pudding. I ordered Cookie and cream pie. I read the description out and never once did it say it was ice cream. It came and it was solid frozen it was so hard to eat. Our awful and I mean awful experience. Was £150! I will never step foot here again. If you want a curry local to Doncaster I would go to Doncaster tandoori.

Never use this restaurant before. Decided to try it via ubereats. We placed an order around 4pm and chose a delivery slot of 6 to 6.30pm. We began getting updates after 6 expecting a 6.20 delivery. We had ordered for 2 adults and 2 kids. The 6.10 delivery went to 6.40 then 7.20. Then we got a popup on screen saying it had been cancelled. I feel a phone call would have been better. Our kids were hungry. I just feel it's too easy for them to press a cancel button when they are busy. With good reviews already I will likely try them again but felt very let down on this occasion

Another lovely meal at Naaz. I tried Nawabi Khana for the first time, but it won’t be the last. Large pieces of tender chicken in a sauce that was well spiced and really tasty. One of the best dishes I’ve had!

Lovely restaurant with an amazing ambiance

Garbage. Hyderabad literally lived up to its name as BAD. Was like dishwater. Tikka Massala was a deep red which means loads of colouring (whatever it isn't meant to be that colour (google). I've had Naaz before and it was decent. Will never order again. Terrible.

I have never even heard of this place until today! I was sat doing my work (I work from home) and the next thing my phone rang saying Naaz Indian restaurant were phoning me. I had no idea who or what that even was. I picked up and nothing but silence. I said hello and they spoke that fast i couldn't understand them. So I asked them to repeat it. All I could get from what he said was something about a cheap Samsung galaxy s21 how does that sound...so me being me I said I have no idea what you're going on about stop bothering me and put the phone down. It was that random and annoying that I didn't even ask where they got my number ot anything...so weird it's not professional at all to ring random numbers with weird offers.

Food is tasty and of a high quality. Naaz Balti is highly recommended. Not a criticism but a few of their dishes are really spicy but they advise of these on their menu.

Ordered loads of side orders, no main meal but at least 8 small dishes. All cooked beautifully and still piping hot when I got them home. Really happy with the food and service, can't wait to get back to dining inside 👌

Unfortunately had to give this 1 star. Firstly the delivery took close to 2 hours, the driver tried to convince me this was because of the traffic. This is hard to believe as it was half past 9 at night. Each dish was covered in at least a centimeter of oil and cold due to the fact it had taken over an hour from pickup to delivery of just 2.5 miles. What's even more disappointing is this was a £55 order, hard earned money that was supposed to be a treat but was pretty appalling to be honest.
