The best restaurants serving Indian food in Redditch West Midlands

I have dined at many of the Indian restaurants in Redditch with most being average at best. Last night we stumbled across this one. The waiter was extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He laughed and joked with us and suggested we try a couple of dishes. We took his advice and had the most amazing Royal Tawa dish. The flavours were fantastic. We will definitely be going back soon and I think The Candle Night will now be our go to Indian in Redditch.

Hands down one of the yummiest curries I’ve ever had! I had the Chicken Mango Mahti and it was incredible, I’ve never had mango in my curry before but I loved it. My boyfriend has a Chicken Naga - it was super spicy and delicious, so much flavour. The staff are so friendly and attentive. We had Amin serving us and he was amazing. Thank you so much!! We will be back :)

Drove an hour away from home and had lunch, it was very nice and the food was very good, will travel again.

Spur of the moment takeaway, fantastic food - one of the best curries I’ve had in a long time! Well worth a visit & I’ll definitely do it again 👍

Wow, what can I say, what a great restaurant! First ever visit this week (Feb 2025) and it definitely won’t be my last. The staff are warm, welcoming and sincere. Myself and a friend visited on a Sunday evening and there was a nice amount of people in there which made for a cosy pleasant atmosphere. I tried a dish I’d never heard of before - Lamb Kargahi - which was absolutely lush. I’ve genuinely never had a curry with lamb that tender before! Excellent value for money too. All in all a really lovely experience and can’t wait to go back very soon.

Is this place still open ? It was amazing food. If closed where did the chef move on to?

Me and my friend ordered over the phone for collection tonight. Only a 15 minute wait which was great food was piping hot still when we got home and plated it up :) Portions are plentiful! 1X half portion chk tikka masala 1X half portion chk curry 1 chips 1 naan 1 rice We shared the sides and had a half curry each and still couldn’t finish it :D Food was great overall and when greeted at the door and given our food all staff were polite and friendly. Fairly priced too in my opinion for what you get it’s a bargain! Will definitely come again :)) Thankyou

Terrible service placed order which arrived 1 hr later & missing starters..food was cold when I spoke to manager he refused to drop off missed items or reimburse me for food that I had paid for

Had a takeaway from here and it was outstanding best In the town by a long shot 10/10 food was pipig hot tasty and fresh highly recommended

Delivery guy super nice! I forgot to order the curry the just the accompanying items so he offered to help and grab a curry before they closed. The food was delicious and it arrived nice and hot. I'll definitely be a regular, :) cheers guys! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Poppadoms are awesome

I definitely would not go there again I ordered a mix kabab wrap and got a less than handful of chicken and hardly any salad and no shish when I asked for no lamb pieces he literally thought I said no lamb at all so had to go back and I argued with him and he eventually gave me a shish in but said he will heat it up and I’m 2 minutes away so when I got home it was stone cold so he didn’t heat anything up just put shish in and re wrapped it disgusting never will step back in Dilshad again
