Mina Indian Takeaway in Redditch

Poor. Thought I would try them but disappointed. Poppadoms and bits were nice. Prawn puri, the puri was good, prawns like bullets. Garlic fried rice... Garlic, where? Prawn fried rice, again like bullets when you managed to find one. Balti, big chunks of chicken and lots of mushrooms but whatever that sauce was it wasn't Balti. Shame, as I'm sure the meaning and effort was there but not good end result and wouldn't order again

Had my first (but definitely not my last) take-away from here last week. Staff are extremely polite and curteous. Food was prepared really quickly, and was quite simply delicious. We had the Tandoori Mixed Grill (my partner) and I had the Chicken Tikka Murghi Massala. Prices were exactly on point and our plates were cleared. Having another take-away tonight and trying something else off their very extensive menu. Looks like this will be our go to place from now on. Suezncats

We regularly order from here and usually the food is very good. Their biryani is delicious, naan always hot and yummy and poppadoms crispy. Delivery is usually very quick, with friendly drivers. Today my daughter wanted to try a chicken tikka masala. It was not like any I’d ever seen before. Bright pink/red and very very sweet. It was inedible. It should be a creamy spiced tomato dish. Won’t be ordering that again. Their prawn puree is very similar.

We felt a little hungry after a very eventful day. Mina Indian takeaway situated on Unicorn Hill in Redditch came highly recommended ❤️ A simple phone call and their friendly staff took my order, which consisted of a chicken korma, fried rice, a portion of onion barges and a keema naan. The meal was delivered pipping hot within 30 minutes. The succulent pieces of tender chicken were buried in a rich sauce, whilst the fried rice garnished with spices looked and tasted amazing. We were surprised with a free onion salad which totally enhanced the meals flavours and experience. For £14, that’s a staggering £7 a head for a quick, reliable and quality service. Ordered a couple of curries, one being a butter chicken.. why was the chicken tika in buttery curry sauce?? Waited nearly 2 hours for a terrible food and paying over £30 for 2 curry's all for disappointment

Chicken Jalfrezi more like onion Jalfrezi… Too much Onions omg. And also excessive red colour used on the curry… Bad experience… Chicken tikka purée had same amount of colour and onions…. Come on guys taste is more important than colour… You are selling curry not onion and colours. Thank You

The delivery driver refused to give the food over until we fetched the phone used to place the order. Ordered off food hub, Food never arrived, phoned restaurant to check to be told they don't use food hub, despite accepting the order. Used to be a reliable takeaway, but clearly useless now

Not the best curry - chicken tika sauce looked more like red mushy peas, consistency was horrendous yet described the dish with a creamy sauce, this was anything but. Garlic mushrooms were awful aswell - disgusting prices for the quality of food. Go else where

The quality of the food was awful. We ordered a Masala, lamb and chicken, it was practically mush and I found it quite inedible. It did not look properly cooked and definitely not like Indian food. We tried to report this but their responses were unprofessional and repetitive, never actually trying to solve the issue, they refused to give us a refund and just ended the chat even though we still hadn’t finished the conversation.

This is one takeaway of many. Review is needed! Excellent food. The Dahl is so good! My stomach is quite sensitive but I have absolutely no issues when I've ordered from here, and that's rare. Highly recommend.

Always one of my favourite curry houses! Some of the best onion bhajis, and I love their rogan josh ❤️ my wife loves their tikka masala, which I have to say is delicious too!

Amazing food as always. I'm a proper culture-geek and have been eating Indian/South-Asian cuisine for close to 20 years now and I'm very picky when food isn't up to my standard. Mina never disappoints in this regard, always full of flavour and fresh. Never seem to get a bad belly after eating here too!

Bar far the worst curry I’ve ever eaten, all three curry’s ordered were left, vile over sweet curry that apparently was supposed to be like masala with more flavour, disgusting dish, the front of house staff urged us that it was an award winning restaurant “how much more authentic do you want” he said. Absolute rip off almost £80 for three people and it was god awful. Front of house staff also told me that the chef would refuse to add anything to the dish that I requested because according to them it’s perfect how it is, as far as I was aware, I was paying so I can choose, absolute dive of a place, should have walked out when we seen only one table sat on a Friday, that’s a sign. & as for award winning, one curry won an unknown award apparently, I know a chippy that won an award from the local scouts, that’s hardly a reputable source either and I doubt this one was. Long story short, if you want comfort, authentic and ambience, then avoid this place at all costs! Back to not allowing me to add anything to my curry, the front of house staff told me that they don’t have chicken sagwala on the menu but they can make me one with a madras but add spinach, that to me looks like changing a dish? Again avoid this place pretending to be something they really are not.

Absolutely amazing food and first class service from the staff, they really care about the food and as soon as you try it you know. If you order make sure to call them and take advantage of the free starter deal! Will definitely order again and it's for sure my Indian restaurant of choice so will be recommending to my friends too!!

SCAM!!!!! I ORDERED FOOD PUT THAT I AM LACTOSE INTOLERANT. THIS GUY CALLED ME AND TOLD ME EVERYTHING HAS MILK IN IT (I ordered naan bread, boiled rice and veg curry!). HE TOLD ME TO CANCEL MY ORDER! WHEN I TRIED TO CANCEL JUST EAT CHARGES YOU HALF THE PRICE! I CALLED HIM AND TOLD HIM ITS FINE, I WILL GIVE THE FOOD TO MY FRIEND AND ORDER FROM SOME PLACE ELSE. HE THEN REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY OR THE FOOD SAYING HE WONT DO THAT OR TAKE THAT RISK??????!!!!!!!! WHAT RISK IS THERE IN ME GIVING THE FOOD I PAID FOR TO SOME WHO IS NOT LACTOSE INTOLERANT!!!!!? First time ordering from mina,came early, food was hot, we have tried many Indian take outs in our time and this is far best the tastiest and flavoursome food we have had in a long time, thanks mina.

Had a takeaway for the family. Food was cold and tasted like a bowl of sugar had been thrown in. Sides, couldn’t eat, cold And rubbery !!! EVERYTHING WENT IN THE BIN!! Contacted the restaurant , they said that would resolve this the next day??????? It’s been a few weeks now and nothing. In the meantime I did contact the restaurant again but they’ve still not responded. Don’t waste your well earned money, there’s plenty of other restaurants out there.

Food was hot and delicious. It took just under an hour for delivery and was well worth the wait. This was my first try and I wasn't disappointed. This place is going to be my favourite from now on.

Very friendly, fast and reliable. Had lamb madras which was nice and hot how I like it. Meat is nicely marinated and tender. If you have never tried this place before you're missing out.

This was our first meal from this take away it was not disapointing, it was a great meal, staff was courteous and the service was very good. It was a quick delivery. We will definitely order again

Food was great but I ordered at 5.54 and the food was due at 7.20. So hour and a half wait, but the food didn’t arrive until 8.05pm. Rang the restaurant at 7.35pm to see where it was and the guy said 5 minutes. 20 minutes later food hadn’t arrived so I logged that it was late and had a text to say it was delayed until 8.05pm called again and the guy was rude, he again said 5 minutes so I mentioned the text I had received and he said that JustEat randomly send those texts and don’t have any idea on time scales. Food arrived at 8.05pm as per the text message so I asked for a refund. I received £3 back, which isn’t good enough as I had waited overs two hours since ordering. I wouldn’t have minded if the restaurant was honest when I called as I could have collected my order. The driver dumped the food on my doorstep and glared at me as I had requested a refund minutes before it arrived. Food was lovely but the service has put me off.

Worst currys ever just had chicken madras chicken tikka jalfrezi garlic naan and starter of garlic mushrooms at 29.00 bloody RIP off no taste to the tikka just blew my gob off with chillies no peppers in it the madras chicken was dry and fiercely hot garlic fried rice not too bad garlic mushrooms starter was dreadful never again and was expensive

Ordered a vegetable stuffed paper as a takeaway it was literally the size of an egg and charged £3.10 for it. Food ok apart from that

Ordered as a group, I had the Shadmani Khana with the Spicy pilau rice. It was nice, but the rice wasn't spicy at all and tasted rather mild. Wasn't the bestest curry I've tasted, but was good value for money. The delivery was late, was told it would be here at 6pm, and didn't arrive until 6:30pm.

We had the meal deal of poppadoms & dip, 2 starters, 2 mains, side and naan and rice for £19.99 Not only was it the most delicious takeaway we’ve had in years, the portion sizes were very generous. The service was great, even providing us with plastic cutlery as we mentioned that we are staying in a motel. Lovely people. Brilliant food. The next time we are in the area we will definitely return.

Back home from Uni and ordered for me, brother and my dad just before new year. 2 Chicken Masalas and 1 Bhuba. Food was brilliant, absolutely no complaints from all of us. Would defo order again and 100% recommend to anybody in the Redditch area.

I asked for a chicken korma .not sweet infact with very little sugar. What i got was a heart attack in a container . It even had glacier cherries in it. I have been eating kormas for over30 years and have never had one with cherrys in it was vial unbelievably sweet.i have had pudding less sweet. It was vial. I will never go there again And i dont think anyone else should unless they want to lose their teeth !!! Yuk!!

We had been recommended to Mina for our takeaway as usually we go to a restaurant rather than have a takeaway. We ordered for 4 people and I must say that the food was excellent. My wife went into collect the food and the staff offered to carry the food out to our car, even though I was parked right outside! We had mains and sides and could not fault them. As I said, we do not normally have a takeaway but we will do in future and will not hesitate to go to Mina- First class and thank you Mina for being a great takeaway!!

Terrible terrible we had a big order of £55.00. They stole our money and didnt deliever all the food we were 3 currys down and 2 rices and a naan. So we called them to be told we was lying and he wouldnt be refunding what didnt arrive. The curry that we all had to share was cold. Im also sure that it wasnt the meat they advertised. Disgusting customer sevice, along with disgusting cold food.

I recently had a few days off in Redditch and visited Mina Indian Takeaway for 2 meals. Both times I ordered the Butter Chicken, rice, and Garlic Naan. Both times I was very happy with my food. I ordered online and then walked down to the tiny restaurant. No tables, strictly takeaway. Both gentleman that were working in the restaurant were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The portion size was good and the flavors were delicious. I would return again and again.

Food was excellent, fresh & tasty..delivered promptly.. We had 6 different meals each one superb, even my grandson who is not a lover of Indian food ate it all & commented saying he would like to try something else next time! Thoroughly recommend 👍👍

Regular customer- food is always lovely and delivery drivers are always friendly. Wish they opened at 5pm rather than 5.30pm as we have children that have a bedtime routine and therefore can’t wait until 6.30pm (as it takes an hour delivery) for dinner. Shame as we’d order more often to enjoy as a family.
