Is this place still open ? It was amazing food. If closed where did the chef move on to?

Great food owner/chef was so interested about us- we were from South Africa- he had visited relatives there , food super if we lived closer we would become regulars.

I haven’t ordered from here in years, it used to be nice but what I was sent last night was disgusting, I feel bad leaving this review but it’s the worst curry I’ve had, and the grease on it was most of the curries sauce, so I really didn’t enjoy

Time changed by restaurant to over an hr later even though only ordering for 2! No update at time due so rang Restaurant who advised on its way. Wasn’t very warm so had to reheat in microwave. Naan bread totally cold

My food cold my husband chicken jelfrezue only had 3 pieces of chicken in a lot of onion very very disappointing I could do with a free order or money back

Food great as always, but mixed up a rogan josh for a korma. Still good, hope next time is better.

Was a little disappointed with my Nan bread, maybe because it’s in a paper bag, it was not fluffy. The dansak had no lentles but split peas and wasn’t cooked very well, very disappointing! The rest was fine.

We had a delivery order for 6, food was fantastic. No one was left feeling hungry.

Starter lukewarm, but all tasted good.

mugli chicken was dry & only warm. salad bag was dreadful brown lettuce & rotten tom n cucumber, dips was hot & not cold Temperature of the food wasn't that great, Naan bread was dry & hard. supreme bhuna roast was great after heating it up again.

Lovely food and lovely place. Sadly we were the only people out this week and the chef came out to thank us which was so thoughtful.

You say salad and sauce come with starters or mains and you don't provide them

Really nice quality food. Only negative is value for money. You have to pay for poppadom sauces and you get a very measly portion; barely enough for one poppadom. At £0.75 I think that's pretty awful. Also no free onion salad. I think Naan was slightly on the small side too, but it was enough. That being said, I do order from here regularly as the food is very nice!

Possibly the worst Indian I’ve ever been to. Was in the restaurant for over 90 minutes, was one of only three tables (the other two were of two people each) and it took an hour for starters to come. Onion piaza was insanely dry, the curries were bland and the drinks were flat. I ordered a vegetable korma (as I am vegan), and asked to check whether it was dairy cream or coconut cream. The question fell on deaf ears and I was served a chicken curry… even though nobody ordered chicken on the table. Slow service, bland, tasteless food and zero atmosphere, which for a Saturday night with three tables on is absolutely shambolic. Waste of money and time. Avoid at all costs.

Curry was brill, on time, warm and good quality.

Curry was very nice. Naan abit pants. Didn't get free mint yoghurt or salad with poppadoms which is abit tight.

Rude staff at restaurant, basically hung up on me when I called asking where my food was.

Description for king prawn was deceiving, fried onion was burnt but rest was ok. Not enough Gravy in aloo, quite dry.

Over 2hrs to get food delivered, called restaurant to be told they’re running 20min late, that was 45min ago. Poor attitude by the man on the phone.

Been and ate in here a couple of years ago and was fine. Our recent delivery unfortunately was not very good, it was about two hours until it arrived from being ordered, we had to call after it was saying it was delivered and it wasn’t. When the food came it was luke warm- nann was rock hard for the majority of it so must have been over cooked or been sat waiting for a while. Really disappointing.

Food was bland lots of peas in the panner no flavour to the dish. Sagg allo was bland no flavour or spice Greasy food nann was dry. Never had a problem before but tonights order was shocking

I ordered the food at 130 pm afternoon for the evening for my husband birthday it was late and we had to phone to see where it was

Just over 3 hours from ordering to food arriving. I was really struggling to stay awake for this order to arrive. Chips and nan bread had been kept warm so quickly got cold, soggy chips and tough nan. I think the rice must have been too as there were clumps of hard rice. So disappointing having had previously much better experiences from redolence :(

AVOID!!! Ordered at 7pm and it’s now 9.30 and food still hasn’t arrived. I called the restaurant at 8.45 to be told the driver is out and delivery due in 5/10minutes. He said this without asking me my name or order details so clearly lying to get me off the phone. Now the phone is ringing out. Will never order from here again!

Naan was cold, salad was warm, food tasted great just wonder how fabulous it would have been if it hadn't been in a car for an hour for a 5 minute journey. Food left restaurant ahead of schedule but took a full hour from then to reach my door,

We were a large table of 17 of us. Didn’t start well with drinks orders. No lime so they just delivered a soda water , all the lemonade and coke ordered was flat and all had to ask for replacements. Red wine was off so also had to ask for a replacement. Was a little worried after such a disastrous drinks experience but the food was really nice. Service could have been better (some staff members seemed more on the ball than others) but we all had a nice time and tasty food.

Why oh why do use Just Eat to deliver? I received a text from Just Eat at 18.43 to advise that the order was on It’s way! At 17.05 I telephoned Redolence to ask where my order was, to which they replied we should receive it in-the next few minutes. At 17.35 there was a knock I. The door and order was delivered - deliver said he had 4 other deliveries to make and he got lost😳. As a result my nan bread was stone cold and we had to put the curries In The microwave to heat up as they were tepid. Good job I had some microwaveable rice in the cupboard.

There was no rice included in but the curries were great

Really excellent food and service in no-nonsense surroundings. I had a lamb tikka chilli massalla — the meat was good quality, and the sauce really tasty. The keema naan had plenty of keema in it, and wasn’t greasy at all. Thank you.

Just okay, starters dips etc were standard, my guest really enjoyed the "Special" of Murg Masala, which I have to agree (since I tried it also) was nice. For me what let the visit down was: 1) The Rogan Josh, it was just too much onion (not reduced enough into the sauce) and I don't think i saw/ate one pepper and 2) The Nan was doughy inside and didn't seem cooked through, the surface was crispy and nice but the inside left a lot to be desired. 2 people, a couple of drinks each, starter plus a couple of poppadoms, curry each came to £60, a bit steep for the quality I'm afraid. Don't get me wrong, it isn't of my lists of places to go but unfortunately, it won't be my first choice. Many thanks to the staff though as they were very patient as I caught up with an old friend.

Food was nice for the most part. Big chunks of lamb but the Sag Paneer was disappointing,the paneer was not visible at all. The nann breads were also cold

The food was very good. The chips were missing and we ordered the food just under 2 hours before it arrived. However it is a bank holiday and just after Christmas. Will definitely order again as I've eaten in the restaurant and the food is great.

Very disappointing service with the delivery driver being over an hour late as well as the food not being up to standard as usual.

Looks like they've had a mare tonight... nearly 2 hours late despite ordering an hour before they opened. They updated the just-eat site to make it look like the food was on its way but it didn't arrive for another hour or so after that - very disingenuous. Food wasn't worth the wait but was edible after skimming the oil off the top. Do yourself a favour and don't order from here. Cheers!

Absolutely awful! 45 mins late! Then the wrong food came!! Manager could not have cared less simply said “take it up with just eat” dishes came with chillis In that we did not order!! Full refund requested

Delivery said 45-60monutes we ordered over 2hours ago it still hasn't turned up. I called after 1hr10 minutes to be told it was on it's way waited another 20 minutes and have called multiple times since with no answer whatsoever.

How can you forget poppadoms and mango chutney when the order only has 4 items including those?? Ridiculous.

Food was amazing!! (as usual ) but a little colder than I would have liked. Probably because it was late arriving :/ but the staff member I called to chase my order was very efficient and apologetic.

Unfortunately the old was not good tonight. It was cold and the sauce was totally different. It was a disappointment as it’s normally very nice 🙁

Booked a table for 6 30 for 5 people arrived 10 mins early to an empty restaurant not a member of staff in sight , a chef came out the kitchen said sit anywhere no cutlery on the table , threw some paper menus down and walked away didn't offer us a drinks menu or any info when I asked for a drinks menu the reply was what's behind the bar we have he didn't seem interested at all almost it was an inconvenience needless to say we walked out before ordering anything won't be returning

Can't recommend Redolence enough, we dined in and the food was amazing, beautifully spiced and lovely tender meat, portions were massive. End of the meal the chef came out for a chat which showed how much pride he has in his work. Will definitely be going again.

The best Chicken Makhan I’ve ever tasted. Not too sweet and with a little spice. The Tikka was so soft and tender. Absolutely perfect. Will defiantly order it again.

Second time we’ve ordered from here. This delivery didn’t have any mint sauce or onion salad with the poppadoms as advertised on the just eat menu. Called the restaurant and staff were quite rude stating it’s never been included. It’s on your menu so check it and get it updated. No issue paying extra of its advertised correctly but it’s not. It was included with previous orders

Really good quality meal with no ghee floating on the top like you get with some other takeaway deliveries. Lots of meat along with good texture and thickness of sauce. Overall a really good meal.

Beautiful food as always, we’ve never had a bad experience and even won’t a larger than normal order tonight or was delivered piping hot on time and was really good as ever! I think we’ve converted our guests too. Thank you!

Pre ordered my food,it took an hour and a half to arrive,as it says they open at 5.15pm,although it says to pre order as dont open till 6.10pm,the driver was too busy having a good old gas on his phone,whilst I stood at the door,I've seen a snail move quicker🤣

We visited as a group of 14 for my daughters 12th birthday. There were 5 children and 2 vegans in the party. The service was outstanding. The man was paitent when we orded, helped us to decide what we wanted by discussing with us what we like. He was really accommodating about me being vegan (which is unusual). The kids were served first (always good In a family group) and we all got our meal's together, hot and delicious! There were no complaints about anybody's meal (which is unusual with my family). We brought a birthday cake with us and they lit the candle's and brought it out , providing knife, plates and serviettes. Nothing was too much trouble. I really can't recommend this place highly enough. we will definitely be returning and recommending to friends!

Absolutely disgusting, I will eat pretty much anything but even this I couldn’t eat, I ordered a tikka masala and it tasted like washing up liquid, the chips where cold and looks like they were done ages ago. The only thing I ate was the popadom and the mint sauce. £25 thrown in the bin. BIG Letdown

Hasn’t arrived!!!!! Where is it?

Very lucky to find this restaurant last month while working near by. I have been here 4-5 times in the last month and sampled a few dishes on the menu and all of it has been gorgeous and plentiful. This is backed up with service that is attentive without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend Redolence to anyone who likes great Indian food.
