We ordered a delivery for 4 people, it arrived at the time stated, well packed & piping hot. The driver was polite, the food was amazing. Good quality, fresh, tasty and plenty of it!

we arrived at opening time and placed our order pretty quickly, the next people to arrive were around 10 minutes after us then shortly after that another family walked in. It took absolutely ages for our food to arrive but what surprised me is that when ours come out the families that arrived and ordered way after us got their food the same time, they just had to wait a lot less time for it which I think is bad. The chicken pakora starter was terrible, the batter was really hard and crispy like the batter you’d get on a fish from the chip shop, the chicken was also really dry. The main dish arrived and it was okay (not brilliant) apart from the rice, the rice was probably the worst I’d ever had in a restaurant as it was so dry like it had been cooked days before and reheated. Something I should have checked before hand was the hygiene rating, it only comes in 3 out of 5 which is t great compared to the 5 star ratings of all the rest in the area, definitely won’t eat here again.

This place was recommended, so I was excited. The staff were young, and when asking about gluten-free dishes, they were just saying yes, all gluten-free. One waiter said that the D logo next to the food was a spice rating. It's actually Dairy. We had 4 poppadoms £3.80, spice tray £3.09 Chicken Pathia £14.95 and chicken Balti £14.95. The poppadoms and spice tray are not worth a total £6.80. The Oathia was immensely sweet and then bland, not spicy at all, probably the worst we have tried to date. The Chicken Balti was awful with over fried rice and tasteless. The best part if our meal was the tap water. Now, the venue had around 22 customers when we were leaving, and it seemed popular. Obviously suits some loyal customers. For us, it's a massive no and won't be going back.

A pleasant local Indian restaurant. The food is always very good and the prices are fair. The service is a little slow and the drinks aren't spectacular, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this is a great restaurant for a family dinner, meet up with friends, or romantic date.

Have wanted to eat in but still not got round to going. Seen they do delivery on delieveroo and ordered Wednesday evening for the 1st time and bar far the best curry I've had in ages. Will deffo try and get round to having a meal asap.

Apart from limting yourself to only one pint of Cobra if you want to safely get out of the front car park, everything else about this restaurant is simply perfect.

Attended here on Good Friday after a few drinks. This restaurant is based in the Astwood Bank area of Redditch and in my opinion would benefit from having more competition. There are no other Indian restaurants in close proximity. It is our place to go to for an Indian sit down meal and historically I have never been that impressed. However, on this occasion- whilst the quality of the food was ok, my main meal was cold which is unforgivable. It was evident they were struggling to cope with the amount of customers. Would be reluctant to return.

Wow Had the most amazing meal at Little India tonight. Brand new on the menu 'The Thali' for only £13.95 per person on Sunday night. Small dishes, either meat or vegetarian. Fantastic food, fantastic service, great value and lovely night out with family and friends, well done Little India. Great idea if you love to try lots of small dishes on one platter. A must try dish

This Indian Restaurant never lets us down, always great service, friendly staff and delicious food. We went in last minute they were as accommodating as they could be for a Saturday evening service! 10/10

Had Christmas dinner arrived at 14:00 did not get seated ontill 14:25 ,when we was seated it took another 20 mins to take a drinks order and put some popadoms and dips on the table after eating them we then had to wait 45mins for the starter to arrive but didn’t get what we preordered but it was nice anyway after our starter werecleared away we then had another 45 mins wait for the main course this was also nice and the came the pudding chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream a topped with ANTS yes ants what a joke they changed all of the pudding that was ok and we were meant to have tea or coffee after but was not even offered it they did knock £20 off the £527 bill great we will defo not be going back

The restaurant is so bright it could light up a stadium, no ambience at all. Quite cold and austere.

Sorry to say, I went there seeing it as an Indian restaurant, but it gives a very uncomfortable experience to the Indian people. Because this is an Indian restaurant only for English people. The price is twice what you would normally get out. A person who likes real spicy Indian food who goes there for the first time will surely not go there again..😞

Unexpected venue looking at the outside in a row of residential properties but consistently excellent Indian food, very high quality with efficient, courteous staff. An absolute family favourite.

Chicken in curry was dry and quite chewy. It was in slices rather than chunks which made me feel it was reheated.

Excellent meal when we visited on an early Saturday evening. The venue and service was top notch and our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that there is limited parking at the restaurant and in Astwood Bank in general which could be a problem for some people.

First time visiting, our friends Becky and Jeff highly recommend the place food was gorgeous and the staff made it complete ,Abraham was so funny and a credit to your team he was so friendly and we enjoyed making chickens out of napkins until he went one better and made one from the tablecloth 😂😂🐓

We chose Little India purely on the basis that it would deliver to our holiday cottage. I was a little worried whether it would be good or not. Well, I needn't have worried. This was one of the nicest takeaways I've had in a while. I chose chicken naga, which was nicely hot but full of flavour as well. This was accompanied by a really refreshing saag paneer and a tarka dal which had had a proper tarka applied and was really tasty, not bland and sloppy like too many are. Everyone else in our party really enjoyed their dishes as well. Definitely a good find and recommended.

Just thought we’d let you know how disappointed we were with our food- the prompt service and hot delivery was great however the food was not! Lamb Dansak very very sweet- no spice- so sweet - could not eat Chicken korma - very very sweet could not eat. Garlic Naan- no garlic Onion bhaji ok- but greasy Meat samosa good. The only nice part of the takeaway. To be honest we were very disappointed with the food. Will not try again. *Also- did write to the restaurant to inform of our disappointment- no reply. Hence putting on here.

Great food and fantastic value. Finally got to try the food here on their Monday banquet night. We arrived not long after opening and got a warm welcome, and we were quickly shown to our seats. We had Poppadoms to start, waited a while before having our order taken, then we all had starters. The sheek kebab was tasty, the onion bhaji and samosas were quite small, but delicious. We had chicken pathias and a chicken Tikka masalla main with lovely mushroom rice and peshwari naans. Each course was prompt, hot fresh and tasty. We literally cleared our plates. Staff were very friendly and polite throughout. We will definitely return another night, for the main menu too. Parking was absolutely fine, right outside, but imagine it can be busy on a weekend.

We came here for my friends birthday. Before we arrived we had set up the table with balloons and banners as a surprise. The staff at Little India couldn't have been more helpful. They went above and beyond to make my friends birthday special. Honestly the best service we have ever received. They matched our energy, were polite, attentive, the food was absolutely wonderful too. As we left I'd forgot my jacket, within minutes of leaving, one of the members of staff came running down the road to give it back to me. Honestly, they were absolutely brilliant and we are so grateful. We don't get the chance to go out much together but this evening was made perfect by Little India. Highly recommend a visit! We have been gradually dining in at all the local curry houses across Redditch and visited Little India last week. From start to finish we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience; the service is fantastic and food incredible. Two of our party have nut allergies and were well catered for & felt at ease through our server that our dishes were safe. Thank you we will come again! ☺️

Four of us went last night for dinner. Mondays and Tuesdays they offer a Banquet Menu with slightly limited choices but fixed pricing and it is amazing value, we ate from this. Our party was welcomed like royalty and service was prompt and courteous. Barely sat down and ordered drinks before a tray of "Papadoms" arrived on our table. Food was hot (temperature) and very tasty, I loved every morsel.Would I go again, certainly; would I recommend Little India, certainly.

Shocking Chicken pakora tasted like burnt oil and was hard to chew and burnt Fusion stir fry all meat was very chewy and dry Service nil Was brought out mains and not even finished starter so our mains was kept warm This was a anniversary meal and I do not appreciate being called ‘love’ Will not be returning Good points Wine and popodoms

Visited with the family for a birthday curry. Little India never fails to disappoint. The service delivered by Sham and his team is genuinely second to none. Great food, and precessional service with a smile Can’t really ask for more than that!!

Amazing atmosphere and real taste of India.

Says open until 10:30 but when you go in there at 21:45 they’re closed and want nothing to do with you. Won’t serve food or drink or anything. Front of house guy was incredibly rude and basically told me to get lost, that I should have come in earlier. Shocking. Probably won’t ever order from them again. Disgusting attitude and customer service.

I don’t know where to start about our top class experience at Little India. From the moment we booked we knew our experience was going to be great and it didn’t disappoint! We were there as a large group and this was not an issue. We felt like we were the only people in the restaurant! Usually curry houses make large groups wait longer for food. This was not the case all food came present and correct piping hot and in good time too! We were impressed with the service but then the food arrived and wow the food was unbelievable. Not only was the service unreal the food was there to match. We went back as a couple and the experience was exceptional too there was a large group in that night too and it was the same level of service as the large group ! Highly recommend Little India !

We had a lovely meal. Wonderful service and staff. The only thing I can mark it down on is the lack of dairy free options on the menu for those with intolerances / vegans. Just a basic, veggie, dairy free curry would set you apart from other curry houses.

Well, what can I say. As loyal customers Sham and his team never disappoint. The food is fantastic; best Indian I could recommend. Service, second to none. I would never go to any other Indian restaurant as we are treated like Kings and Queens here....

All food are sugary and sweet. Although the name is Little India but we didn't find any Indian flavour in the dishes that were served to us. Birmingham and Soho road are best in terms of Indian and Asian cuisines

Online booking service useless. Didn't stay for meal as we couldn't find anywhere to park car. On arrival didn't feel welcomed, guy was on phone.

Really TASTY delicious food. We arrived just as they had opened and got a warm welcome, was quickly shown a seat and ordered drinks. A little disappointed with my starter as I'd ordered tempura tiger King prawns and they looked like ones from Iceland however, was really nice and I ate the lot. I had the garlic chilli chicken and my partner had a balti plus a cheese and keema naan and garlic rice. Delicious! Server's were always available and very friendly. Will definitely return. Parking is a bit of a nightmare but it was icy and rush hour which didn't help l. We parked at the park and walked up which was fine.

What a lovely little place my first visit but it won't be the last I went with a friend who had been before Staff very attentive lovely atmosphere and you could still sit and talk thank you to staff and see you in 2023

Rang up at 6 and ordered for delivery and was told 40-60 minutes wait time which was ok, so round about 7 was the latest the food should arrive. 7.45 still no sign so i rang up to ask where my order was and i was told its on the way, another 10 minutes before it arrived and when i went to serve it up most of it was spilt in the bottom of the bag and what was left in the carton was nearly cold. Wouldn't use this place again. Would award zero stars if possible

Fantastic quality food that I always enjoy. There’s a lot of excellent things to choose from the menu and it’s hard to narrow down, but I’d recommend the biryani! The staff are nice and pleasant and will always great with a smile and good service....

Fantastic buffet ordered for our home hen night. They did a fantastic job, food remained warm all evening and food was superb. Would highly recommend and will use again for our Halloween party. Thankyou to the staff and the great chefs that made it.

We have eaten in dozens of Indian restaurants and thought we’d give this quirky place a go for a change. The restaurant is a converted bungalow set back from the road, on a residential street in Astwood Bank, that has good off road parking facilities...

Just finished a Bengal Murg Massala. The nicest meal i've eaten in ages. 10 out of 10

We had an excellent takeaway which we shared with our French relations who were most impressed. Delivery was very punctual. and the quality of food was outstanding. We had never used Little India before, but will certainly do so again.

This visit was for a charity event with a Bollywood theme. Food was served as a buffet, all hot and very tasty. Entertainment provided by 2 young women performing Bollywood style dancing. A great atmosphere and an altogether enjoyable evening.

We had a brilliant night at Little India bollywood evening. Fantastic food, excellent entertainment and wonderful that the team donated all profit to astwood bank carnival. Always supporting the local community when they can.

Decor wise it’s not much but it more than makes up for that with the quality of its curry! The chicken Madras is superb and worth a visit for that alone…….the owner is a cool dude as well, very welcoming and a good guy all...

So lucky to have this restaurant in my village, we always come here for family celebrations. Food and staff are equally amazing. You won’t be disappointed

We have had a really nice meal from here. However tonight it was absolutely appalling. We we’re told it would be 45-60 minutes and after 3 phone calls it arrived 95 minutes later and 80 percent of our ended in the bin. As it inedible .We will never order another one.

Now I must admit I had a takeaway recommended by some friends a few weeks prior to this latest 1 and it was nice . What a difference this time round, absolute rubbish !! No taste what so ever , I could of knocked 1...

We had a take away from here recently and my husband was very ill with food poisoning…. I emailed little India to inform them… No response! would not recommend!

There is nothing negative to say about this place. The welcome is always wonderful, the service exceptional and the food even better. It is a home from home; I have never been to a better curry house. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Very busy Saturday night but food very good

We really enjoyed our first experience at Little India. The food was really good. Well presented and good flavours. Would have given 5*'s (and a tip) if they hadn't slipped £5 onto the bill for a bottle of tap water!

We have been going here for many years. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and are attentive to your needs. It is our go to take away and would highly recommend to anyone who wants top quality Indian food. Looking forward to coming back in for a meal soon.

Hi my name is Chris Just made an order with little Indian and had such high hopes as the guy on phone who took our order understood exactly that’s me or my partner did not like onion or veg as we ordered our meal as no onion or veg and he sed on phone that they would be no onion or veg in our curry after waiting nearly an hour for our food it came cold and full of onions so neither me my partner or daughter could eat it was A complete waste of time and money so regret ordering with a little India as even when the delivery guy came I check the receipt before accepting and Even on the receipt it said no onions or veg just feel so let down and deceive

Had a takeaway from here food was cold the balti was all veg not alot of sauce and very bland chips were hard and dry they were unedible yogurt and mint sauce was just like yogurt not nice at all not very happy spent £28 and only ate rice and popadoms would order from here again
