The best restaurants serving Indian food in Sutton Vesey Birmingham West Midlands

Absolutely gutted this place has closed! We thought it was just closed for refurb but now it’s got a new name and new menu. Absolutely gutted as it was our favourite takeaway

Having driven past this restaurant for years we decided to give it a go, and we were not disappointed. The food was very nice and great choice of menu although with only option to purchase drinks it was a little pricey. The dishes were all good and the starters were the 'gem' with everyone enjoying a delicious starter. We will definitely return to this restaurant for special occasions but not for a 'cheap curry' with friends. The food is worth that little bit extra on the bill but not on a regular basis.

Chutney Indian Restaurant Sutton Coldfield First time at Chutney’s with three friends and a very good evening it was too. (Formerly called Ariana) We started at 5.30pm on a Monday evening and had poppadum’s with chutney, followed by vegetable palak, samosa’s and lamb kebabs. The mains included tasty machli salmon, chicken jalfrezi, Rajasthani chicken, an excellent Kukkar Marhani (chicken in yoghurt and tangy honey sauce) & a chicken & chips. With rice and naan bread. For deserts there were three lovely fantastica (had to wait some minutes whilst they defrosted) and a Ferrero Rocha ice cream. We had a bottle of the house rose wine which has low alcohol content at 5.5% and a coke. The service was good and knowledgeable and the bill for the five of us came to £110.00. They also have a meal deal of £11.95 between Sundays to Thursdays. We finished at 8pm and it is worth noting that we had parked over in the Tesco car park and walked across to the restaurant, and there is 3 hours free parking before your car would be recorded on the cameras. Very disappointed after reading the previous reviews. Good service but a poor quality meal. Over cooked starter and lukewarm main course.

This was my first time dining here its a shame was looking forward to a nice curry i ordered a chicken korma but it was very bland no seasoning at all and I felt very rushed every 5 mins staff was trying to remove things from under your nose and bombarding you questions while your eating wasn't a good experience won't be returning

Was offered a fantastic buffet lunch, the amount on offer was spectacular, and such a great price, unfortunately for us we were not that hungry so went for meal of the menu. Which was superb as always

The best asian restaurant in Sutton Coldfield. My wife and I go here often and it is by far the best around. The breadth, variety and quality of food is exceptional. The food is only matched by the incredible staff. A must if you are in the area.

My friends chose to try this restaurant out has its new to this area and we like to check new ones out for ourselves and family.Because this restaurant does not do alcohol you are allowed to bring your own in.We were greeted at the door with a smile and taken to our table.we loved the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful flowing blossom down the middle of the restaurant with matching lilies all the way round the room,this made for a relaxed evening. The waiter took our order for poppadoms and later our order for starters,mains,rice and nan.They came and checked on us to make sure everything was OK and that we didn't need anything more.Food was delicious from start to finish.Desserts were offered which some of us had and then coffees with mint choclate.A lovely evening and was seen out by staff also with a pleasant smile 😃. I also noticed that they did do mock cocktails 🍸 and none alcohol wines or grape drinks which is great to know when you either don't drink or can't because your driving. I will definitely be back again.Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening.
