De Everest Dine in Birmingham

Absolutely gutted this place has closed! We thought it was just closed for refurb but now it’s got a new name and new menu. Absolutely gutted as it was our favourite takeaway

Passed this place lots of times and eventually made a visit. I wish we had done so a while ago as the food and service are excellent. A refreshing change from regular Indian food with some elements of far east flavours and a quite long menu to choose from. A fair number of the dishes were unfamiliar to us but the staff were extremely helpful with their recommendations. The prices are very good also.

Service was excellent and the food very tasty and eat it all . Tried some new dishes all were excellent and left clean plates too. Drinks were delivered to the table quickly and smoothly.

Called and ordered steamed lamb MoMo. They only accept Cash so that's a negative point in today's age. MoMo is okay-ish but the sauce was very sweet. Almost taste like the sweet sauce you get with peshawari naan. Not authentic nepalese but an Indian restaurant

I ordered the chicken dupiaza curry and it was so sweet and sickly i had to leave half of it - and coming from a big lad like myself who likes his food thats saying something. I tried some of my mrs curry and again it was so sweet and sickly. But on the plus side the restaurant decor was nice, and the staff were friendly. And for the record my mrs enjoyed her meal too, maybe its just me

had 2 curries which were both terrible, watery, tasteless. onion bhaji was really nice tho, naan bread was also decent.

Love the dishes there. It's far beyond my expectation! We ordered No.39 Lamb Bhutuwa and No.40. My favorite is No.39 with the best garlic naan I had in Birmingham. A lot of meat and vegetables inside, much better than the one in Mailbox. The staff is very helpful and nice. I've saved the restaurant and will definitely visit again.

Great place to relax, and enjoy food cooked with love. Value for money, and all the staff go the extra mile, so we can have a extraordinary experience.

I have ordered on many occasions and a different variety of dishes each time. Always very nice food everytime. I love the tirsuli rice. It is something I have not seen offered anywhere else. It goes well with any main dish. I will be back again soon.

Still my favorite restaurant. Even after 20+ years of eating here, first as Indus, now as De Everest. No matter which dish I choose it is always mind blowing.

I don't know about the dine in experience, but with delivery portions you don't even get your money's worth let alone value for money. At nearly £11 I expect more than a small container full of sauce plus two or three pieces of small meat in it, and the dish wasn't even tasty (House special Karahi). I can't call this a one off either. Next time I'll give other restaurants in the area a chance. This place is just too overpriced and overrated. At £15 minimum delivery order, you're effectively throwing your money down the drain.

Excellent staff, and wonderful food.

Ordered a takeaway 100 minutes ago and it was going to take ‘one hour’! Knew straight away it wasn’t going to take an hour! When you ring them and they say “he’s just left the restaurant!” you hope to believe them! 45 minutes later it hasn’t turned up (10 minute journey at best) you know they lied! Go somewhere else guys!! Awful place!

Always loved Nepalese cuisine, but didn't know of any in the Sutton area we googled and Everest had good reviews. This isn't unjustified, the service was good and friendly and the food was gorgeous. I had the Himalaya mixed Tawa..(pictured) and it was so tasty! Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👌🏻

Food was lovely first time ordering would of thought that I would of got some free compliments like poppadoms with over a £75 pound order but would order again

I visited here with my grandson regularly in the past. The labadar and pasanda are some of my favourite dishes, while my grandson opts more for the nepalese selection. The service from Anju and Rahul is amazing and really makes the experience. Good value for money too.

Really good food served by friendly staff in a nice environment. the Chicken Labadar and Pasanda are particularly good.

We ordered takeaway from Everest Dine more than once during the pandemic and its aftermath, during times when we were reluctant to sit inside a restaurant. Therefore, we already knew that the food was tasty and well prepared. It was pleasant to finally sit in and enjoy the full experience. Try the Nepalese dishes for their slightly unusual and exotic flavours. A good range of more standard Indian fare is also available.

Best Nepalese/Indian food. We absolutely love it. Staff are super polite and food is amazing. On picture, Himalayan daal, Biryani with veggie sauce and lamb dupaiza, raita and super fresh naan.

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. Food was really tasty. They have nice selection of food and drinks. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We can recommend this place to everyone! We will visit this restaurant again.

My husband and I went to Everest restaurant last month and loved the delicious meals which were cooked to perfection. I can't wait to come back!

First time visiting, warm welcome. Food was fresh and tasty, no grease to be seen floating on top of the curry. I ordered the Himalayan Curry and the wife ordered the Sherpa Curry, mine was a bit too hot for my tastebuds so we swapped dishes halfway through and both were happy. Will be returning with family and possibly ordering takeout in the future also.

De Everest in the Kings Road Sutton Coldfield and enjoyable evening with good friends. The starters were excellent especially the Chicken Pakora, and the spicy Aloo Tikki, and the mains were also excellent, from the Himalayan Curry to the Sherpa Curry and the vegetable biryani. One of the Biryani was too spicy as the request was for a mild one, but the lady exchanged for new dish with no problem. There was a slight delay with serving as it was short staffed but the waiters were very good. The Fantastica pudding went down a treat and with all the food and drinks for 6 of us the bill came to £122.00. Regards Gary

Great food and brilliant service!

We found de Everest takeaway menu on the doormat when we arrived home after a horrendous drive the length of the M5. Ordering the Momo Chicken and Lamb Sekuwa for starters, and Royal Tawa, Lamb Bhutuwa and Peshwari Naan for mains was straightforward. Delivery was both swift and courteous. All the dishes were excellent, distinctively and subtlety spiced and cooked to perfection. De Everest is now definitely on the top of our mountain of takeaway menus.

OMG! just had a curry from here for the first time. I don't usually review takeouts but this place is incredible. Seriously tho lamb was soo delicious and the everest naan was insane. £20 for 2 people is the Average price for a takeout. Deffo going be my go to from now on!

There is only one word to describe this place. Wow. Nothing more to add. Decided to try this place as received a menu through the door. The food is outstanding some of the best I’ve had. Superb value for money.

I went to De Everest with my family on Saturday evening. The food was very well presented , lovely and fresh and no complaints at all. Everything we had was lovely. A varied menu to choose from and very reasonably priced. Looking forward to going again soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We've had food delivered from Everest before and thought it was delicious. We ate for the first time in the restaurant yesterday and if anything it's even better. The food, service and relaxed atmosphere were excellent and we're looking forward to our next visit. The Himilayan curry is highly recommended!

There's plenty of chunks of chicken breast and the pathia sauce was delicious very mildly spiced and not greasy at all. Pilau rice was light and fluffy as was the mushroom fried pilau. Gentleman behind the bar stated they can adjust spice levels to my taste for any dish I'd like in future. Will order again and try the Nepalese dishes too :) this place is a hidden gem, do try it!

Quite possibly the best Indian vegetarian curry I've had. No shortage of veg: aubergine, picked mango, etc. Try the Himalayan range 👍

really great food , depth of flavour spicy tasty freshly cooked food , great menu choices , we knew we would have to wait we were told at checkout and we did order at a peak time , but it was well worth the short wait. we had chicken tikka masala which was best we've had in a while and a tawa dish which was fantastic with roasted garlic , chilli ,and ginger amongst other spices, we highly recommend this place thanks.

Ordered take away, never used this resturant before but WOW ! The food was amazing. Succulent chunks of chicken tikka & melt in the mouth lamb just bursting with flavours. Will definatley be a regular choice of resturant.

This is the best restaurant. We were regulars at the Induz, glad that Rahul has stayed. He remembered our drinks orders and gave us complimentary starters. The food is still amazing. Butter chicken, Pathia, Karhai all delicious, but the Nepalese dishes are unreal. The Royal Tawa is delicious and the Chicken Frontier is one of the best curries i've ever had. Delivery is quick. A Gurkha themed restaurant with probably the best food I have tasted in a long time in a restaurant which provides meals for western tastes. I had 3 meat samosas, delightful. My main was a delicately flavoured, well balanced byriani. The staff were good fun and gave a good rapport with customers. There were many regulars in the restaurant, who were also sociable and held good conversation. A great place for a wonderful meal, presented beautifully.

Amazing experience when we dined here with friends on Sunday. Booking a table for 7 was easy and they ensured there was a good high chair for small baby. Decor was immaculate and welcoming. Food was authentic and delicious. Service was prompt. The chef was very good at making customized food for children. I am an Indian and I can say with confidence that the food was perfect in every way.
