Thoroughly enjoyed our takeaway. All dishes fresh and tasty. Recommend the lamb rogan Josh. Friendly service while we had a drink before collecting.

Previously ordered from here and was impressed...2nd time round not so much but Curry Hut contacted me afterwards and apologised for the poor service and offered to rectify this. Food tasted good but lukewarm but still nice tasting food and great customer service. I will happily give this place another chance as the 1st time was really good 👍🏻

He visitado el restaurante en Nochebuena para una cena con mis amigos de la universidad , tenían un montón de opciones en currys de toda la India, especialmente comida callejera india, madras de pollo y tikka masala y todos los curry's tenían un sabor auténtico especial de la India que no encontré en ningún otro restaurante asiático en Bournemouth . Y otra ventaja es el buen servicio, la comida fresca, ya que el restaurante es galardonado y el chef galardonado. incluso nosotros obtuvimos el descuento estudiantil.

Thank you to Freya, Marissa and all the staff for making a difficult day better. You were all so kind and courteous to everyone and it was all so well organised.The pub was warm and cosy and the buffet was delicious.

We sat with our coats on it was so cold inside. We had a 15 minute wait before staff realised we were there 2 couples in the restaurant. We had popadoms with only a 3 tray pickle which was poor. We had a mediocre main meal. The Naan garlic and coriander great. Rice was ok. We won’t be back.

Stayed with friends in the area and ordered from Viceroy, the food was great and felt very Authentic and the delivery driver (Ben) was amazing, fun and super polite. Will order again when I’m back in town.

Just had my first takeaway from Chutneys and oh my gosh...it was amazing! Tasted different to the usual thoroughfare you get from Indian takeaways. Like they really knew how to use their spices! I recommend. 5/5 for sure!

Used to love this place, was one of the best Indian restaurants. Just ordered a takeaway and the chana masala is nowhere near like it used to be. There's a handful of chickpeas in it and it lacks the sweetness of before. Just read it's under new management which makes a lot of sense and backs up my theory that it's not the same. What a shame but the food I received wasn't great at all. Won't be back here.

The raj is my favourite place to eat, the restaurant was busy but the food and service was second to none well done the raj always great

Have tried all the Indian takeaways from Barnstaple to Bideford and this is the best and most authentic I can find outside of Bristol! Has your classic English style curry but the Chef's specials (especially the Tikka deshi lanka balti) are incredible as is the Bombay aloo freebie! Real range and they are so lovely! If you order for delivery they normally arrive in half the expected time too!
