Curry Hut in Cheltenham

Curry's were nice enough even though balti was marked as bhuna and vice versa, had to swap plates. chips and rice warm not hot , onion salad 0.80p normally free. mint sauce coloured water. received 30% off so the meal was acceptable. Would not pay full price sadly.

Absolutely terrible service, food arrived considerably late. They do not answer their phones until you have called numerous times and when they do eventually answer they lie and tell you food is on the way when it definitely isn’t! Will not be using them again!!

Incredibly friendly staff. Did what they could to make my order perfect. The best bit? HAND MADE CURRY SAUCE. Right on front of you. Please visit this place. It's just off the main road and there's bags of parking. Will always go here for fresh, amazing, food

Best takeaway curry in cheltenham

My family and I have been looking for a reliable Indian Takeaway in the area that provided the same quality of food each time. Over the past few months we have ordered food from here multiple times via Deliveroo, looking at this establishments rating on Deliveroo made us question purchasing food from here but we thought we would try it regardless. Food is delicious, cooked well and fresh, staff are very friendly (Deliveroo do not deliver for them, they do it themselves and the driver recognises us each time and asks us how our food was previously). Overall, a very good takeaway and I would recommend it fully.

Best Indian takeaway in Cheltenham...in my opinion! The chicken naga curry is one of the tasties and spiciest and the vindaloo chips are superb. Order in restaurant and you can see the chef preparing your food, ordering online..I have never had a late or a cold one. Consistency in my opinion is important and this restaurant is very consistent in quality and customer service..long may it continue

7 of our dishes did not arrive our guests went hungry, I spent 30mins debating with the delivery driver and the restaurant as the driver wanted all the money yet half the dishes we ordered were missing and by the time the driver came back with the missing dishes everyone had had their desserts and were no longer interested, The restaurant were so positive to deliver yet on the day failed miserably. No apology or discount given, it was not a cheap meal, not only was it embarrassing for me but for my 20 guests, Awful service and food was bland. The mint sauce was more in the bag than the tubs. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone especially those who are ordering for larger parties. It clearly showed they were not equipped to cater for large numbers. The one star was for the free starters the restaurant had offered for placing a large order which I may add were not enough as one person had to go without. Very embarrassing indeed. Deeply disappointed.

Sadly it took two hours for the delivery to take place. Tried to get a refund, but this cannot be done if you purchase through Just Eat. No clear instructions on Just Eat to gain a refund. Food dry and poppadoms not crispy on arrival. Very disappointing.

BANGING!! I went to this place as I was in Cheltenham at the time and fancied biriyani so this place was closest to my location at the time. I had lamb biriyani and I can honestly say this has been the best I’be eaten, it had so much flavour but not spicy just like how I asked them to make it, also the meat was so tender I’m telling you it was so good. Even the biriyani sauce which I don’t usually eat this time I did and happy I did was so good and actually had veggies in it with so much flavour. I highly recommend this place and I will be going again totally worth the 45 min trip. One thing to note it’s on Evington Road not where google says, it’s the road right behind the road google says just drive through car park and it’s in your left.

I mainly order online and only been in once or twice i think. Its the best place in my opinion for a great curry. So tasty and mouthwatering. My favourite is the saagwala. The portions are quite nicely sized at an amazing price. I would definitely 100% recommend

The Curry Hut is a small takeaway off coronation Square in Cheltenham and serves up your Meals in front of you as its a open kitchen The Chef will accommodate any requests you have .I have been A curry eater for many years and I have just had the best lamb tikka Naga (be warned its very hot) ever ,,,my wife doesn't eat a whole meal so I asked to reduce the size when ordering without any issues .Just to mention the Menu has a very good selection and I think I have had Most of the meals on the menu. Fully Recommended please give it a try

Terrible service tonight 2 and a half hours and still waiting for my food no offer of a partial refund or anything, keep saying the drivers are busy well tell people that when they order after receiving my order almost 3 hours later I was missing items and the food was barely warm the manager said I could have a full refund when I asked him to come and collect the cold food only.to now be told that I can't have a refund I'm only being given 20% off any more orders. because I'm in a rush to order again not

Indian food? This is the place we go to for any Indian takeaway, they do a very nice Tikka Masala, they are honest and helpful, they also offer a home delivery service. Try it, you wont go anywhere else afterwards.

We ordered from curry hut for the first time today. Very good food and well packed. They given salad in a small container it's looks very satisfying. Normally Indian restaurants giving salad in a plastic bag and I never felt to eat them. Quality of food is very good and very generous portions. Must try the special biryani it's come with lovely biryani sauce. We got the delivery on time and driver was very friendly. Definitely wanted to try more dishes . Highly recommended

The food is amazing. The staff are all very friendly. Open kitchen so you can see the food being freshly made whilst you’re ordering. The food is full of flavour and the portion sizes are great. I had a chicken jalfrezi and garlic fried rice (only half of the portion included in the picture).

A hygiene rating means nothing.. So we’ve regularly ordered from Curry Hut in the past year or so despite regularly having issues with late delivery or missing items. The last order we made (Friday 28 May) will be the last. As usual, when we ordered we asked to pay by card, though as usual the driver came without the card machine. By the time my partner had finished sorting out payment over the phone, her food was cold. This wasn’t the biggest issue though. While eating her food, she found a blonde hair!! We’ve had many issues with this place & perhaps shouldn’t have been giving them so many chances, but this is it. It meant she couldn’t eat her food and I didn’t want to eat mine either. It’s dirty & unacceptable having hair in food.

Food is delicious and staff are friendly. Need to allow an extra 10 minutes to your pick up time as they are usually running late.

I'm the biggest curry fan in Cheltenham and have had fab curries at a lot of places, but this place is a cut above the rest for me and most of my family. Not just because the food is great. Its a whole lot of things rolled into 1 that does it for us. From point of ordering we're greeted with excellent customer service, always happy and keen to make u smile. You can walk into the shop in a bad mood and leave laughing every time. They aren't stuck up and keen to please, if you a have a problem, they sort it. They have an open house kitchen so you can see your meal being freshly made before your very own eyes, not pre-made like some places. They don't treat you like you're there to fill their pockets, they treat you with respect and welcome you everytime like they are pleased to see you. Delivery drivers are also very pleasant. Have tried so many different dishes from here and have loved every single one. Even ones I thought I would definitely not like!

Food delivered on time by a friendly lady. The chicken balti was lovely, spicy but not too hot. Onion bhaji and pakoras were tasty and delicious. Altogether quite yummy! Always order from here, never been let down.

This was a random selection from Google as we were just passing through. I thought we had a great curry restaurant in Midhurst but this little takeaway has some seriously good food, very fresh tasting and generous portions. Would easily recommend this for a great takeaway.

First time to Curry Hut, VERY tasty food. Chef extremely helpful when I tried describing what I would like. They even rang back later to see if they had got it right/if I had liked it, so they know for next time! Fussy teenager who has refused to change where he gets his Korma from for years loved it too, win win! Definitely going back here again.

Great tasting food! Always really hot when delivered. Staff really friendly and helpful. Partner had korma sauce and chips, much better than getting chips and weird curry sauce from a chip shop!

Ordered on there new website easy to do great choices on the menu. Collected our order got to see them cooking in the open kitchen, I saw chefs chopping fresh herbs this was evident when we tasted the great food. Will return.

We waited patiently for well over an hour and a half for a curry with good reviews and when it arrived, we were missing a rice. We called up and to be fair, the guy was back within maybe 15 minutes with a fresh rice, but it still ruined it for us. I'm not sure why it's so difficult to follow an order and make sure it's all there before delivering it? It surely takes you a few seconds to check? Regardless if you're busy or not? The curry was bog standard. Quite runny, lacking flavour. Masala smelt like Malt Vinegar? Didn't look very appealing to the eye on the plate, just seemed like a rushed and minimal effort kind of curry. Won't be coming back, sorry. I expect more from a curry house than that. It was cheaper than average - but you get what you pay for I suppose. A generous 3 stars.

Curry hut has been my go to Indian takeaway sinse lock down - I usually would go deepam but as they aren't operating at the moment curry hut is definitely a great alternative and it's refreshing that their style is different. Their food is always great and comes reasonably quick given current circumstances and its great that they stick with the 2 meter rule when they deliver but don't run off after knocking the door like some other deliveries do. Always met with a friendly person smiling ☺ definitely recommend :)

Just revived my food. At first when I have tasted the food did seems to be very bland and lack of flavour. But as soon I have put the sauce over my byrianie the food has completely change the taste. Lively and spicy. The food has come in nice and hot as well. Delivered as it was promised. Very good food for money what I have paid in. Thank you.

Terrible!!!! Very late then when called to check on the situation I was told two different times of arrival. firstly 5mins then a min of 25mins. After that I asked to speakTo the manager and he was rude, would not allow me to speak and did all he could to just get me off the phone then said “I don’t need this” cancelled my order that was placed at 4.40 for an estimatated delivery of 5.45 this call ended at 6.20. What an awful service.

Curry Hut es el único indio que utilizo ahora, ya que no he encontrado un lugar mejor para los verdaderos curries indios. El menú es bastante importante y puede ver cómo se prepara su pedido, lo cual es muy interesante, y puede ver lo que está pasando en su comida.

I'm a regular - for both collection and delivery. Food is tasty and delivered within the timescales quoted. Friendly staff, and even got a Xmas card through the door last week! Nice touch! Recommended.

First time using curry hut...won’t be using again! Ordered via just eat, told 9pm delivery. 9pm came and went, we rang to see where delivery was, told it was on route they were short staffed. 9.15pm still nothing we rang again to be told it was on route just eat had messed up! 9.30pm went and passed! Rang again at 9.45 to ask for our money back as too late to eat now to be told that our order had been delivered to someone else!!!!! Waiting on refund now and went without food!

We’ve been searching for a reasonably priced curry hut that served great tasting food and have finally found one! The food arrived within the stated time and was absolutely delicious. The best takeaway we have had around Cheltenham. Can’t wait for our next one!

We were looking for a takeaway close to our caravan park. We found the Curry Hut recommended on a few different online sites. We had a mixed platter starter, curry hut special biryani and a Chicken Tikka Balti. The good thing is you can watch your meal being cooked, chat to the chef and more importantly the place has a 5 Star Hygiene rating. The meal came to £21 after discount and there was so much we have left overs for tomorrow.

Nice food, all served hot. Disappointed with fact that we collected takeaway hoping to get their 15% discount, which upon arrival, were told the discount only applied to phone orders and not online orders.

Watching the football and snooker. Didn't want to cook so I ordered a delivery. Chicken Pakora starter was lovely. Crisp and fresh with salads and mint sauce. My tandoori chicken biryani was hot and spicy and the vegetable curry had just enough zing to it to make my tongue tingle. Delivery is quick and so the food is always piping hot. Very reasonably priced and generous portions. Good customer service too. Recommended.

Ordered a curry through Just Eat; was delivered promptly within 45 minutes, despite it being Friday evening. Was called to let me know the meal was on its way and was delivered by a genuinely pleasant chap. The food was piping hot and considerably better than the majority of more expensive curry restaurants in Cheltenham. The starters, veg samosa and onion bhaji, were crisp and tasty whilst the main courses were impressively well spiced and absolutely delicious.

My Go to takeaway. Food is always good and delivery is always on time if not earlier! One of the best in Cheltenham!

Spotted this place while shopping. It's very nearby so thought I'd give it a go. Ordered a delivery. Chicken Tikka Dansak, pilau rice and keema naan. Meals come with complimentary salad, poppadoms and mint sauce. Reasonably priced food. Menu is the same as many such businesses. I was told delivery would be 45 minutes. Arrived in 30. Piping hot - even the naan bread. Dansak was very spicy and flavoursome, rice was fluffy and fresh and the keema naan was brilliant, the best I've had for a long time. The radioactive orange coloured mint sauce was tasty and the poppadoms crisp. Really good first impression. I will definitely use this place again.

Good takeaway curry house, quick delivery, large portions and usually delivered hot by just eat although you can go in and order takeaway. Naga curry is reasonably hot which is just how I like it. It's local to me and I rarely go anywhere else now for takeaway
