The best restaurants serving Indian food in Slough South East

We ordered house special chaat for starters, it was delicious with fresh ingredients, chickpeas NOT out of a can. My daughter ordered idli and she said it was fluffy, soft and it was served hot throughout as it was freshly made. I ordered Paneer Thali dish, delicious paneer, portion is really good, can’t finish it all and naan is well made, soft. I ordered plain dosa, the sambar is tangy and spicy couldn’t stop eating it. Highly recommended place to dine with the family. The restaurant ambience is great. Delicious vegetarian food.

Very nice and friendly pub.. food was also amazing and the staff especially the girl named Brogan very polite and helpful really enjoyed my evening here with my partner and few friends. Definitely would recommend coming here for a great evening.

Sabes lo que dicen: los agujeros en la pared poco a menudo son los mejores lugares para degustar una buena comida auténtica. Ese es exactamente el caso con Sham's para llevar. Muy modesto para llevar lugar con dos mesas si prefiere comer en que proporciona un excelente comida punjabi. El pollo a la mantequilla, el pan y el vegetariano Samosas eran excelentes. Todo está preparado desde cero y recién entregado. Cálido, personal acogedor en el mostrador. No esperes un lugar lujoso, este es su sencillo llevar con comida india en el restaurante de primera calidad. ¡Qué hallazgo! Seguro que volveremos.

Bon accueil , endroit propre et qui sent bon les épices... j'ai demandé si les plats étaient épices car nous n'aimons pas avec les enfants on m'a dit "no, middle" 😬 pas middle du tout...on n'a pas réussi à manger, vraiment très très épicé dès la première bouchée c'est vraiment dommage...

Lovely atmosphere, good music and food was excellent. We tried the Amritsari Kulcha which was delicious and really filling. My parents also tried the paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi and tarka dahl with garlic naan. Portion sizes were really good and quite filling. Balwinder and Gurpreet served us and were great, smiles on faces and were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all friends and family. 10/10 all the way!

Authentic Punjabi restaurant. Went out with my family. Atmosphere was fantastic. Food was great loved there butter chicken and tandoori chicken.

Good food & service overall served by palak mainly. I ordered Peshawari nan sadly not authentic (almonds, sultanas, apple puree, diced coconut) just mushed apple puree. Dal banjara house speciality was nice but very spicy, didn't like fish as basa ( river cobbler) served on variety platter. Wish they offer alternative e.g., cod or haddock in future.

Made a telephone order recently. Simple request for 2 dishes plus 3 naans. Told the restaurant staff that food was required mild and to deliver for 6:15pm The mild request as it was for children to eat. The children were hungry but failed to eat much as rice was spicy and butter chicken gravy had no taste whatsoever. All items were cold and delivered 15 minutes late despite living less than 0.5 miles from restaurant. Complained on phone only to be told we will replace and will get owner to call back. All lies. Never order again from this restaurant. They cannot comply with simple instructions for a phone order.

The food was outstanding. Lamb dansak, butter chicken, sag alo peshwai naan. Special rice. Samad served us and he was polite and very professional. Outstanding.

Fantastic food especially the butter chicken and lamb karahi. So flavourful and just the right amount of spice. Found on just eat whilst at legoland. We had the food delivered there and it came on time and was hot. Complimentary gajar halwa was also added onto our order which was lovely of them and just delicious might I add. Thankyou!

We booked this restaurant because the menu published online seemed to have a lot of dishes we’d never seen before. We were staying in an air b&b nearby and we didn’t know the area so we were taking a chance wherever we booked. As it happens we hit the jackpot. As we waked in we noticed that just about every customer was Asian which is a good indicator that the food will be authentic. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. We ordered dishes that were new to us all and every one that came out was incredible. The portion sizes were large too so we ended up with doggy bags. There was absolutely no way a single mouthful of this food was going to be wasted. My only regret is that the restaurant is too far from my home in Essex for me to visit regularly but if I am in the slough area I will be back like a shot. Highly recommended
