The best restaurants serving Indian food in Slough South East

Very nice and friendly pub.. food was also amazing and the staff especially the girl named Brogan very polite and helpful really enjoyed my evening here with my partner and few friends. Definitely would recommend coming here for a great evening.

We ordered house special chaat for starters, it was delicious with fresh ingredients, chickpeas NOT out of a can. My daughter ordered idli and she said it was fluffy, soft and it was served hot throughout as it was freshly made. I ordered Paneer Thali dish, delicious paneer, portion is really good, can’t finish it all and naan is well made, soft. I ordered plain dosa, the sambar is tangy and spicy couldn’t stop eating it. Highly recommended place to dine with the family. The restaurant ambience is great. Delicious vegetarian food.

Muy modesto para llevar lugar con dos mesas si prefiere comer en que proporciona un excelente comida punjabi. El pollo a la mantequilla, el pan y el vegetariano Samosas eran excelentes. Todo está preparado desde cero y recién entregado. Cálido, personal acogedor en el mostrador. No esperes un lugar lujoso, este es su sencillo llevar con comida india en el restaurante de primera calidad. ¡Qué hallazgo! Seguro que volveremos.

Staying in the hotel down the road and read about this place. What a find! Stunningly good food and lovely people. I honestly don’t think I’ve had a better biryani. Some great twists on the usual Indian food as well. I had the Thali and it was utterly delicious.

*BEST DECISION* I went there few 4-5 times before with friends and family. We had an Iftar dinner party. We chose Taste of Karachi for the food over spice village. I must say that it was the best decision. The food was amazinggggg. Everybody kept asking us at the venue and even after party where we got the food from. We ordered for 90 people. We had lamb seekh kebabs, papri chaat, lamb badami qorma, chicken biryani, kheer, salad, naan and raita. Every single was delicious. I have never eaten such scrumptious kheer before. They gave us huge potions. A lot of food was left which we brought home (it was already mentioned by the owner Shahbaz bhai that a lot of food would be left for you guys take home). They delivered the food with a lot of care. I would highly recommend them and will go with them again in future In sha Allah.

Lovely atmosphere, good music and food was excellent. We tried the Amritsari Kulcha which was delicious and really filling. My parents also tried the paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi and tarka dahl with garlic naan. Portion sizes were really good and quite filling. Balwinder and Gurpreet served us and were great, smiles on faces and were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to all friends and family. 10/10 all the way!

This was a family get together. There were about 20 people. The food was amazing. For myself who loves a bit of spice, wow. The staff were very attentive, especially for the younger/children, on our table. We have been back several times since. Not sure that this fime frame is right 🤔 but never mind.. Will be back again. The curries in this restaurant are incredible.

Came here with my family, our waitress, Gurpreet was a lovely young lady and extremely helpful, nothing was too much of an ask.

The food was outstanding. Lamb dansak, butter chicken, sag alo peshwai naan. Special rice. Samad served us and he was polite and very professional. Outstanding.

Made a telephone order recently. Simple request for 2 dishes plus 3 naans. Told the restaurant staff that food was required mild and to deliver for 6:15pm The mild request as it was for children to eat. The children were hungry but failed to eat much as rice was spicy and butter chicken gravy had no taste whatsoever. All items were cold and delivered 15 minutes late despite living less than 0.5 miles from restaurant. Complained on phone only to be told we will replace and will get owner to call back. All lies. Never order again from this restaurant. They cannot comply with simple instructions for a phone order.

We had a very good experienced at little Lahore server by Fatima.

Food took over an hour and a quarter to arrive, despite being told up to 45 and 3 phone calls a later to check on order. Ordered 2 garlic naan and only received 1. Staff very abrupt on the phone. I get Friday nights can be busy but there was no need for the short and unprofessional response

Ordered food online as before. We have had some issues in the past and on this occasion they delivered a chicken tikka dish instead of a paneer tikka for a vegetarian. Didn't know it was chicken until they bit into it. The shop admitted chef made mistake but no apology and seemed uninterested and even rude about it. Clearly didn't want to replace the meal and not concerned they gave meat to a vegetarian. Even asked for the meal back, although had bitten into at least one piece of chicken. Terrible customer service. Wont be ordering again.
