House of Chaat in Slough

We ordered house special chaat for starters, it was delicious with fresh ingredients, chickpeas NOT out of a can. My daughter ordered idli and she said it was fluffy, soft and it was served hot throughout as it was freshly made. I ordered Paneer Thali dish, delicious paneer, portion is really good, can’t finish it all and naan is well made, soft. I ordered plain dosa, the sambar is tangy and spicy couldn’t stop eating it. Highly recommended place to dine with the family. The restaurant ambience is great. Delicious vegetarian food.

I’m sat here in House of Chaat writing this review, I mean I’m speechless what a carnival of flavours does this restaurant bring, the best Indian food I’ve eaten in Slough by far and quite frankly for a long time anywhere. Well done 👏 I’m DEF coming back with all of my friends also the cocktail 🍸 I had (Chammak Challo - Long Island ice tea) was amazingly fresh and had a kick. I had the Pani Puri, lamb samosas, I couldn’t even look at the butter chicken (I’m sure it I’ll not disappoint) so it’s packed to go. A MUST VISIT and I’m British PUNJABI 😋😎

My other half is Gujarati and when she craves her mums cooking we always come here and it never disappoints. Fairly priced and good portion sizes we never leave hungry. The staff are always great.

Great service, speedy takeaway and exquisite flavours. Next time we will eat in. Don’t leave before trying the Samosa.

The first visit this week was great, the second today even better. The Delux Thali is simply delicious and there is so much to tempt us on the menu we will be back before long. House of Chaat isn’t perfect but the food as good as any I have eaten in India so for that alone 5 stars
