The best restaurants serving Indian food in Sevenoaks South East

We ordered a home delivery and were told it would be an hour and 20 minutes. Not ideal but we said yes. We phoned after an hour and a half and were told it wouldn’t be long. No apology but we were hungry and had no choice. Time passed and we kept trying to call but it kept going to voicemail. We had left messages but nobody bothered to call back - either then it even next day. Food eventually arrived 2.5 hours after the order had been made. Appalling service and lack of communication. Whatever had gone wrong, they could and should have told us and apologised. Never again.

Delicious meal with friends. The food is fresh and fragrant and very well presented. Staff very friendly. The fish dishes are especially good. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

I’m in love with this place. The food is amazing. Best curry in Sevenoaks. I rarely sit in but order a takeaway and it’s fantastic. Highly recommend.

I often don’t write reviews but this needed it. I ordered a chicken Naga dish paired with Egg fried rice and a cucumber raita to refresh the taste buds and it was absolutely delicious. The Naga dish was bursting with flavour and well balanced. The rice was very good too. Well done! I wish I’d tried this place sooner. It’s under stated for sure and I’ll be coming back soon.

So impressed with The Taj today. We were treated like royalty at lunchtime on a Monday. 84th birthday lunch for my mum with her brother and best friend and two daughters. We had the place to ourselves and were treated with kid gloves. The food was excellent, especially my garlic and coriander naan. The service friendly, attentive without being intrusive and thoughtful choice of music. They even brought mum out a lovely ice cream cake with a candle totally unprompted as a surprise which she was delighted with. Thank you for making her day, we will be back 😊🙏

Thank you, Raj Bari staff, for ensuring we enjoyed a lovely evening meal with you earlier this week. The restaurant itself is very clean, smart and comfortable, and we were made to feel very at home by all the staff who waited on us. We found the menu choices, especially the Chefs Specials, offered tremendous choice and variety, at very fair prices, We loved our selections, and would not hesitate to return (We live over an hour away, sadly.). A really first-class Indian restaurant!

Visited on a Friday evening with friends that I haven’t seen in a while. I liked everything about the restaurant except for the live music. To have music that loud in a restaurant made it extremely difficult to talk as we could barely hear one another. The place already has a real buzz about it so the music added nothing. People go with their friends to restaurants to talk - not to listen to music. Enjoyed the food though.

Absolutely delicious food! We always have king prawn purée nearly every Tuesday! Great service and great staff! End of the month entertainment is brilliant as always! We love this place.

I ordered a take away ti be delivered. Customer service was very good and friendly. The quantity of the food was my problem. I'm glad it was only ordered for myself as there was only a half full container of the main meal. I don't mind paying the prices but I do expect a reasonable able amount if food for the price. The food itself was very nice, just stingy.

All i can say is never again, cant think of anything good to say about it, it was bland and the chicken was weird, maybe they boil their chicken if this is the case, I DONT LIKE IT.
