The best restaurants serving Indian food in Sevenoaks South East

Hugely disappointed, ordered a takeaway from Tamarind on Saturday evening. We were told it would be an hour and 20 min wait which we were ok with. Two and a half hours later still no delivery. My partner tried calling 6 times using the number he placed the order with, no reply. We then called from a different number and the call was answered straight away. Clearly we were being ignored as they knew our order was so late, but they were happy to answer a call for new business. Can’t rate the food as we got so fed up waiting we made something by else and turned the food away when it eventually turned up. The wait was bad enough but being ignored made the whole thing worse. A bit of honesty would’ve gone a long way.

I've only ever ordered take away, as I live local, so can't comment on atmosphere. The food, everything we order is sublime, a real pearl for Indian cuisine in and around Edenbridge. Couldn't recommend it more, for the price you pay, you really do get quality food. Have never found it to be excessive oil l, as you can find elsewhere. The variety on the menu, means you can try new things or stick to what you know. Highly recommend

This restaurant should be inspected when I got home my stomach was in turmoil the bed messed all over the floor and in the bathroom I thought about going to hospital it was that bad

I’m in love with this place. The food is amazing. Best curry in Sevenoaks. I rarely sit in but order a takeaway and it’s fantastic. Highly recommend.

I often don’t write reviews but this needed it. I ordered a chicken Naga dish paired with Egg fried rice and a cucumber raita to refresh the taste buds and it was absolutely delicious. The Naga dish was bursting with flavour and well balanced. The rice was very good too. Well done! I wish I’d tried this place sooner. It’s under stated for sure and I’ll be coming back soon.

Most consistent Indian restaurant I've been to. Always top quality and never forget anything you have ordered unlike many. Highly recommend

As a family we ordered 2 chicken tikka masala for takeaway that we normally would share with our 2 young children from other Indian restaurants. Came home to half boxes of masala, extremely watery sauce could not even taste the curry! First time going here as new to the area, will not ever be returning.

Food wasn't to our expectations

I visit the restaurant very often, I’m a regular because the staff are always friendly and the food is excellent. I’ve never had a bad experience. My last visit I had a chef special prepared by Ahmed and it was amazing. Brilliant service from Alfie and Jewel and the the rest of the team

I ordered a take away ti be delivered. Customer service was very good and friendly. The quantity of the food was my problem. I'm glad it was only ordered for myself as there was only a half full container of the main meal. I don't mind paying the prices but I do expect a reasonable able amount if food for the price. The food itself was very nice, just stingy.

All i can say is never again, cant think of anything good to say about it, it was bland and the chicken was weird, maybe they boil their chicken if this is the case, I DONT LIKE IT.
