Came across this lovely little cafe and thought it looked inviting enough to try and so glad we did. Simple choice of breakfasts to choose from and the ones we opted for were delicious, and more than enough to start the day with, particular shout-out for the sausages. A friendly greeting and farewell just added to the fact that independent cafes can show a lot of large chain and high end restaurants just how to do it right. Always one to support local business and we will certainly be coming here again!

I had such a fantastic experience at Tikka Nation in Dorking that I felt compelled to leave a review. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting – a perfect blend of modern, vibrant decor with the cozy comfort of a local favorite. What really made the visit stand out was the personal touch from the manager, Nikhil Mehrotra. He was incredibly welcoming and genuinely passionate about the food and the concept behind Tikka Nation. It’s not every day you come across a place where the manager takes the time to ensure every guest feels valued and looked after. The menu itself is refreshingly unique – a creative take on Indian street food, with bold, authentic flavors and thoughtful options for all dietary preferences. Everything I tried was full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. You can tell there’s real care and craft behind every dish. It’s also worth mentioning how clean and well-kept the place is, with a relaxed vibe that makes it equally great for a quick bite or a more laid-back meal with friends. Tikka Nation has definitely raised the bar for Indian dining in the area. I’ll absolutely be returning – and recommending it to anyone looking for something both delicious and differen

UPDATE : -- We ended up going to New Fountain Garden instead -- (I'm not sure if I should review that here for continuity or start a new one, I'll get back to you).--- It's still unknown if we will make it tonight, but the pre-dinner WhatsApp messages trying to organise it have been spectacular. The reservations system has been very helpful as we still don't know if/when we will/won't be coming/going and it's given us the flexibility to deal with any further complications that happen in the WhatsApp group chat. The food is usually good and we've no reason to think it won't be the same tonight even if we don't make it. I can highly recommend visiting the Meadowbank stadium for a Dorking home game before the curry as it adds to the whole experience. We're unclear as to whether we're actually doing it, but as individuals we have been to football matches and had curries before, we also kinda get along so if we all did these activities together it could be excellent/terrible. Thanks for everything. Golf.
