really disappointing tonight, was really looking forward to having a curry from here as we haven't had one in ages and thought we'd treat ourselves. my king prawn Pathia was bland and luke warm only good thing was the quantity of prawns as there was lots, my partners chicken tikka masala didn't taste like a masala at all was very tomatoie and bitter, lemon rice didn't taste of lemon. sag paneer was the only decent dish that tasted really good. really disappointing for the price we paid!

Found some pieces of onion skin peeling in the Bhajis & the chicken tikka was a little tough this time. Otherwise the rest of the meal was delicious.

Average. Chicken was tough and stringy. Lamb small slices no texture. Prawns soft and squidgy. All the signs of cheap meats.

Such a disappointment. The starter was £7 for two burnt prawns with onions. The main curry was so bland, nothing like the description at all. Will not be returning.

Food was good as usual but some of it was a bit luke warm and also I was disappointed when I ordered the chicken momo as I thought it was going to be the chicken momo Indian dumplings but it wasn't it was just Grilled chicken tikka basically

Most consistently tasty curry in Leatherhead.

Everything was very nice plenty of flavour and plenty of king prawns in the pathia and chicken in the korma. The only thing that wasn't great was the naan it was more like a flat bread, very crisp rather than fluffy and didn't taste the garlic at all.

We waited well over an hour for our food and when it was delivered, we were given the wrong order as they put rhe wrong ticket on the bag. We had ordered over £40 worth of food and when we contacted the shop, they sent a really poor replacement. I emailed asking for a refund, went into the shop and continually fobbed off. The manager said he would sort a refund but this still hasn't happened...despite multiple contacts.

Food was nice but not as good as what we've had before. My prawn pathia was nice but it was not spicy at all it was just very very sweet and I like it when it really spicy if I wanted something sweet I would've gone for korma or tikka massala. The chicken korma was very runny and bit watery. Everything else was good.

Tasty but unremarkable food, late delivery which by the time it was delivered was late enough for my wife to decide it was too late to eat!

Probably the worst curry I’ve ever had , I can eat Indian food every day off the week, I thought they got their act together, the food I ordered was very different from from what I received. I’m flabbergasted at the sheer incompetence of the owners to provide descent food, instead they give you days old crap to save on costs, shame on you Karahi House. I will be putting up posters in leatherhead to encourage people to stay away from this sewer.

The order arrived nearly 3 hours after I ordered it. This was also an hour after the restaurant called me to tell me it would be another 15/20mins. They eventually had to redo the order as they said it had been delivered to another address. Restaurants shouldn't take on further work if they are already full of orders and cannot keep to normal delivery times.

Had a very good meal here. Certainly the best curry for miles around. Generous potion - doggy bag needed.

No idea how this place has any excellent reviews. The service was ok, but was takeaway so not much to go wrong. The food looked ok, and was edible, but that was it. I ordered a Madras and it had no spice or heat all. It wasn't even a curry, just bland curry looking slip. Will not return, advise you never too go!

My prawn green tikka curry was not great had a thick layer of oil when i opened it and didn't taste of much, it also had huge slices of mango in it which was weird and not on the description of the dish. Lemon rice just looked like normal pilau rice and couldn't taste the lemon. Everything else was pretty decent although i think for £40 they could give a free popodom or 2

We were missing our mango chutney from our order but they’d given us mint sauce/ salad that we hadn’t asked for. Was a bit disappointed as my wife is pregnant and was craving the chutney with her poppadoms. The rest of the meal was lovely.

Had never used this curry house before but all the usual ones weren’t open. I wasn’t disappointed, what tasty food with great portion sizes! I would recommend this place for sure.

First time I have ordered from Karahi House and definitely will not be the last. Had an excellent lamb dupiaza madras, pilao rice, onion bhaji with papadoms. Portion size generous, food faultless, prices very reasonable and order delivered early. Couldn’t ask for more - really good all round experience!

Really nice food, friendly service, lovely staff. Just Eat told me to collect my food 20 mins earlier than when it was actually ready, it wasn't the restaurants fault but they apologised for this. Staff offered me a drink while I waited and chatted to me. Next time I'll call the restaurant directly to order rather than ordering through Just Eat.

Park across the road. Small shop, really friendly staff and food ready on time. I had a lockdown takeaway, but there are a few tables in the place. Got the food home and the Onion Bhajiis are big and beautiful. Popadums are obviously fresh. Pilau rice and nan are well done. Had 3 mains and they were all superb, lamb was so tender. Food was really late, called up and the guy that answered the phone was apologetic and explained they was busy, which I understood, then waited longer than he said again since having to send out for a text already, when turned up, the chicken was dry, I could barley chew through it, the sauce was watery as anything! So disappointed considering the first curry I had from here was delicious and within a good time frame, was disgusting. Even though offered discount for how late, with the quality of the food itself I won’t be ordering again😩.

Prawn dhansak and lemon rice and saag paneer were amazing really flavourful however same cant be said for the chicken tikka masala which was really bland. Also ordered a pilau rice for my partner which wasnt there when we got everything out the bag im which it was delivered but didnt want to ring the restaurant as would've taken too long to wait for tye rice and the rest of the food would've gone cold.

The food was delivered in record time and was absolutely delicious. Got our order spot on, with good size portions and lots of variety of vegetables in the dishes (not just potato and peas like some do). Really yummy, warm and quick, can’t complain at all!

Was sent Plain Popadoms instead of Spicy Popadoms. Food wasn't as hot as it should've been even though it arrived 10 minutes early. Madras had a slightly strange smell & wasn't spicy at all but tasted fine. Maybe they sent the wrong Curry as it wasn't like the Madras i've had in the past.

I was sent the wrong curry unfortunately, instead of lamb, got the chicken. It was quite annoying, but still tasty, just not what I’ve expected.

I’ve been a customer who always enjoyed going here and specially their banquet night but as of today ordering for delivery we tried to pay by card and was told he would call back to take the details later, 20 mins in we called back to pay, he said he’d call back then another 20 minutes passed so we called again and asked if our food was even being cooked as they still hadn’t called for the payment, he said yes it’ll be 20 minutes and to take the details now. Food arrived 1 and a half hours after when we made the first call, missing an item, which they did bring after but then found the poppodums stale, the mint sauce wasn’t very mint and not very nice at all, the tikka masala didn’t taste like I normal have and also wasn’t very nice, the chicken was very dry in both curries, onion bhaji stoggy and greasy, didn’t really enjoy any of the food. For a big build up it was a big let down. Wouldn’t recommend or order again.

Our family have been regulars at Karachi House for a number of years now to eat in and for Take Aways, never disappointed and never hungry. This has now changed hands and our first experience was disappointing with the quality of food not nearly as good and they forgot 2 dishes. Time to find somewhere else as the people who bought it are not known for the quality of their food also running another curry house in the high street!

Another wonderful take away. Thanks for everything Mr. Ali. The extra onion bhajis, over the years, were truly appreciated as were all the great meals and the beers on the house. We loved banquet nights, especially when the restaurant was closed and you let us in anyway and sat us at the takeaway table. Most importantly, you always looked after us so well and your generosity and kindness will always be remembered. We will miss you. Mr. Farnham
