The best restaurants serving Indian food in South East

Have been here to eat in on several occasions. Today I had a takeaway. I expected it to be good, but it was in fact great! Quite honestly the nicest takeout curry I’ve ever had. I ordered: Lamb Korma (don’t judge me). Mushroom Fried Rice Garlic Naan Onion Baji Definitely the best Indian Restaurant in Burgess Hill. I would recommend eat in or take away.

Great night. Unexpectedly live singer night which I was initially nonplussed about but he was brilliant, good set choice, great voice. Staff helpful and fun. Food delicious.

Muy pobres, sin sabor, los PD estaban rancios, el curry no tenía sabor, sacó el pan naan equivocado dos veces y no volvió a reemplazar.

Good college bigger space for me to peform in drama

What a lovely evening from walking up the stairs to the end of the evening staff very attentive food and service absolutely amazing and Jake the waiter made our night thank you we will be returning.

I’m in love with this place. The food is amazing. Best curry in Sevenoaks. I rarely sit in but order a takeaway and it’s fantastic. Highly recommend.

If there’s a better Indian takeaway than Village Tandoori, Emmer Green I’ll be massively surprised. Their food is always fabulous. Always (and we’ve had it probably fifty times ).

Had a great tandoori meal from this takeaway. All freshly cooked and the keema nan was excellent great service, and as I had got the time wrong for collecting and had missed my bus back into town the owner kindly took me back to town at no cost how great was that!! Great takeaway, very reasonably priced. Made fresh and generous portions. Ordered on a Saturday evening and ready to collect within 20 minutes. Arrived and it was ready on time and piping hot.

El lugar estaba limpio. El personal era muy agradable. La comida estaba falta de sabor. TODOS los currys que pedimos tenían demasiado azúcar añadido, así que los currys eran dulces. Nos desconcertó por qué la comida tomó mucho tiempo para que la comida llegara en un restaurante tranquilo. Los precios eran más caros que en Londres. Conclusión: NUNCA MÁS.

We started using this take away about 4 years ago and it was really the best curry ,but in the last year things began to change. It started with the bhaji cold or falling apart and greasy. Then the meat became less ,then the portion sizes. I have just had the worst Biriani ,could have done better with left overs from the fridge(think hey had the same idea ) and a very fluffed up ( half !) Portion . The curry sauce had what looked like frozen mixed veg mixed up in it ( including sweet corn ). So sorry guys you have gone from fab to drab ,we won't be back .

Streets was recommended to us because it's dog-friendly and we like eating whole foods not processed. We hadn't booked but were offered a choice of a couple of tables. Great music and nice "street food" vibe ie undecorated and basic. It's a "small plates" Tapas style menu but of Indian origin. There wasn't a great deal of choice but we're quite adventurous so we ordered all that we liked the look of on the menu. Limited Zero alcohol choices. Service was casual. Tasty food but small portions, which left us a little hungry and expensive for the amount of food on the plate. Overall, it was an interesting meal out and seemed popular and friendly.
