The best restaurants serving Indian food in City Centre Manchester North West

We had our Christmas dinner here for the second year on the run, with a party of eleven people. The food and service were superb as always. This has become our favourite Indian restaurant. Everyone chose something different including a proper Christmas dinner and everyone commented on how good the food was. The staff here are wonderful, extremely friendly and attentive. Top notch.

Asistí a este lugar por primera vez anoche. Asistí a una comida del 20 aniversario de boda. Éramos aproximadamente 50. El restaurante sirvió una comida buffet. La decoración era increíble (globos, etc). El servicio y la comida estaban en el punto más plus! La atención al detalle fue lo que más noté que estaba cerca de ser perfecto! ¡Ya he vuelto a reservar! Gracias por todos los que nos cuidaron anoche. Fue muy apreciado😀

Wanted a decent Indian when staying at the Hilton on Deansgate saw this on trip advisor with good ratings and only a few minutes walk. Nicely furnished and the food was excellent great friendly service from the waiter. If you like Indian food this is well worth going, this is one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been in.

Visited the day following a football match and can honestly say it is one of the best places in Central Manchester if quality food, a great variety and friendly service is what you're looking for. My friends accompanying me never go out to restaurants and were very nervous but the nerves were soon dissipated as a result of the stunning surroundings and general welcoming atmosphere on display at the Sangam. Great recommendation from my cousin and we will certainly be back soon! (Lovely chatting to the owner and hearing all about his high profile guests over the years!)

Went for a couple of beers and a bite to eat after Remembrance Sunday visit to the Cenotaph. Faultless really. Great beer and great food wings ,gyozo especially good. G reat atmosphere.Will be back very soon. 07/02/2025 return visit every bit as good. Great vibe

Ordered pav bhaji and vada pav. Had a coughing fit soon after and coughed out a shard of sharp crystal plastic. I consider it a lucky escape. No complaints about the food though (amazing food), wish they'd pay more attention to the goings on in their kitchen. Have ordered from them loads of times but this experience has left me shaken and scared, not sure I'll be ordering from them again in the near future.

Just had a takeaway, and I ordered a very spicy lamb curry. It was absolutely perfect, just as I like. Very highly recommended

We came here for Valentine’s Day We went in through the back entrance which looks a bit sketchy but everything inside was fine and decorated for Valentine’s Day Service was fast We ordered poppadoms and a relish tray, onion bhajis and our mains Everything was really good - spicier than expected but still really good Price was very reasonable Would go back

Got nice food and interesting cocktails that we havnt seen elsewhere. Indian, not too spicy, items that i associate with south india rather than the types of currys i usually found in indian restaurants. Comfortable setting. We went when it was quiet.

The food would have been nice had it been hot and not served so quick, no break between starters and the main course so didn't enjoy it. Never a fan of compulsory service charges, it should be optional.
