Bardez in Manchester

I organised an after work party here from Paediatric haematology at Bardez in Rusholme as it is very close to the hospital. The service was outstanding and the food 5 star quality. Very very impressed with Bardez! Myself and all my colleagues will be coming back and we will be having further work events here. The attention to detail, the attentiveness of the staff was 5 star. The presentation of the food was on point and the spices used in the food... incredible. I am obsessed with cooking and I could not fault a single thing. Marcus is also the best host and very professional, completely on the same page as me when it comes to customer service. All my colleagues were made to feel very special and they loved every minute of it. Outstanding night. Well done Bardez, we will be back.

Amazing food , I went with colleagues from work . The service was excellent and it was Indian food ( canapés) that i hadn’t tried before . I’m vegan so was easily catered for . The staff and atmosphere was great . I would highly recommend

Yet again, a 10/10 for this place. Had some of the dishes and origins of them explained before choosing. Broccoli chaat is superb as were the salmon and lamb chops done in the tandoor. Excellent service and a first class meal. Never disappoints

We first came here for our anniversary in June and the food was that fantastic we booked for New Year’s Eve. Once again food was fantastic but it was the kindness we received that made our night. Marcus took the time to sit with us and explain about the food and his plans for the future. We asked about some shots that we saw people having and he got us some to sample, can’t remember what they were called but a pure taste of explosion. They were like a small poppadom donut and the drink you filled them with was amazing. Sadly my amazing dad had passed away that morning so we were going to cancel our booking. We decided to go as my dad would not have wanted us to mope around. Was the best decision we made, your kindness and hospitality for the time we were there helped us through a difficult night. I am so sorry we did not have any cash to leave a tip, we were very disorganised under the circumstances. We will be back in the very near future and we will make up for it then. Thank you again for fantastic food and amazing hospitality xx

Excellent food, excellent service, brilliant atmosphere, I highly recommend this amazing restaurant. You won't be disappointed. We tried a number of different dishes. The Lamb shank is next level. We will most definitely be visiting again!

Had our Xmas doo at bardez and was by far the best. The food was out of this world & the staff were all lovely ! All 29 of us enjoyed the food & had a beautiful time Thank you so much :)

First time visiting with my wife. It was her 50th and she chose this based on reviews. When we arrived, first impression on decor and atmosphere was fine. When looking at the menu, compared to the usual 'indian restaurants' it seemed pretty limited. This worried us a little at this stage. For starters we had salt and pepper lamb and chicken 65. Both were brilliant, full of flavour like nothing we have ever tasted before. For mains we had Dum Ghost and Lamb Shank Rogan Josh. Lamb as teder as you like in both dishes. The flavour was exceptional, the Ghost a deeper flavour the the Rogan Josh that was delicious and a little sweet. Mushroom rice and garlic & coriander naan was excellent quality. Washed down with a couple of Kimng Fishers it was a solid 8/10 from us and we will be back again soon.

Just had the most delicious meal here. Salmon Tikka starter (you’d think that would overwhelm the fish but it was delicately done it did not!) and Lamb Chop Suka and mushroom rice. (Medium rare lamb for a change on the Curry Mile, and beautifully cooked/spiced rice). Absolutely gorgeous. I was lucky enough to come on the 21st October, which was an Indian festival - there was a delightful group in all dressed exquisitely and having a ball, and the kitchen staff joined in. The staff were delightful - though it was a busy night. Highly recommended!

Fist time at this restaurant came recommended and wasn’t disappointed, staff were lovely,service was attentive and friendly, food was a delight, lamb chops , alloo tikka, dum gosht ( lamb on the bone) chicken handi, garlic nan all beautifully spiced and tasty, owner Marcus was a true gentleman ordered us a taxi home as well, this is a must try restaurant, we will be back soon
