We came in when it was empty - but the staff were very friendly, and the menu was good and clear.. Food was fantastic! Sag aloo, lamb dupiaza, chicken madras, mushroom rice, keema naan... Everything! Great beer too.. I recommend this place heavily!

I am a european who loves chicken biryani. Iāve eaten the dish everywhere in Bolton and last night Iāve decided to give a go to CCN too. I didnāt have time even to breathe, was perfect and far the best one ive eaten in Bolton in lÄsat 5 years. Huge portion just for me and I was full halfway but I couldnāt stop until Iāve finished, taste, presentation, and those lovely yoghurt /mint sauces made my day. Thatās a 5 out of 5. My favourite restaurant for biryanis from now on!

Thira Restaurant is a hidden gem for lovers of authentic South Indian cuisine. The menu offers a wide range of dishes, with a focus on Kerala flavors, including mouthwatering curries, dosas, and seafood specialties. The spices and flavors are perfectly balanced, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it an excellent choice for both intimate dinners and family gatherings. The staff are attentive, friendly, and happy to recommend dishes if youāre new to the cuisine. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the overall dining experience feels thoughtful and authentic. Thira Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the vibrant flavors of South India.

Relieved to find a takeaway that tasted like a restaurant and not a horrible trendy fusion whatever restaurant but a family run reliable, years old favourite restaurant. The food was great, the meal for 4 feeding 4 adults plus one usually fussy eating child. Spicy, fresh, hot food and welcoming service too. Definitely using this place again, looking forward to it.

Taste - 4 Service - 1 Order time - 2 Cleanliness -2 The shop is authentic, taste is also good for dosa and idli but not that good for curry's. Tables were sticky and not cleaned properly. Only one poor waiter to serve 5 heavy tables. She forgot what I ordered even after writing in note, possibly due to only server. Need to maintain more staff during weekends.
