Clay Cook Nation in Bolton

I am a european who loves chicken biryani. I’ve eaten the dish everywhere in Bolton and last night I’ve decided to give a go to CCN too. I didn’t have time even to breathe, was perfect and far the best one ive eaten in Bolton in lăsat 5 years. Huge portion just for me and I was full halfway but I couldn’t stop until I’ve finished, taste, presentation, and those lovely yoghurt /mint sauces made my day. That’s a 5 out of 5. My favourite restaurant for biryanis from now on!

We discovered this place during lockdown and thought we were onto a winner. The food was different, delicious and great value for money. The latest one was about as far from this as possible! The onion bhajis were dry and tasteless. We ordered four different curries which all looked exactly the same and, unsurprisingly, all tasted the same. Insipid, lacking in seasoning and depth of flavour and very tomato-based. We ended up throwing the whole lot away and finding something else in the freezer for tea. It will be a long time before we try them again.

Portion sizes are incredible for the price, the food is great! I had a paneer masala with basmati rice and a garlic naan and it was the best food I’ve ever had! 10/10 would recommend.

I’ve driven past this place many a time and decided to give it a go this week. Portion sizes are good and the quality was second to none. Delivery was speedy. Will definitely be adding this as a new regular.

I’ve ordered 4 times recently and every dish has been excellent both Indian and Thai, very authentic taste and good service. Very friendly people.

Had an amazing Mothers Day meal from this excellent take away. There were six different dishes ordered from a very extensive menu, and every one was delicious. This place is far superior to the run of the mill Asian take always we have here. We shall most definitely be ordering again, and I strongly urge others to give them a try...... you won’t be sorry.

We had never heard of this place before never mind used it. I’m so glad we have found it now as it has become our Indian takeaway of choice. Ordering was easy and delivery quick and professional. Most importantly, the food was excellent. They offer a very wide range of standard dishes but also some interesting different ones as well. The south Indian curry was as good as anything I’ve had from a takeaway and the other dishes were of a similar standard. It very much reminded me of a high class restaurant food rather than average stuff you get elsewhere. Prices are fair, the quality great and big portions so definitely worth a try.

Been to several India / Asian take ways. I must say this is my favourite. Clay cook pot biryani - just how it tastes in motherland. My wife is a vegan and she loved vegan biryani and chole Amritsari. Excellent and this will be my new weekly hot spot :)

Chicken biryani from here is amazing! Very fresh, authentic homemade style biryani, big portion too. The curry it comes with is super tasty aswell.

Since Clay Cook Nation opened its doors in 2020, I have become a regular customer. The food is consistently amazing and the service is ace. The food is cooked fresh to order and the flavours are immense. Tanya, Ragu, Sabira and the team are fantastic at what they do and I cannot recommend Clay Cook Nation enough. Fancy a curry? We’ve now become regulars of this new takeaway on Blackburn Road Astley Bridge - food is freshly prepared right there in front of you - it’s brilliant it’s close to us - it’s just what we needed round here - friendly staff who are more than happy to advise - my favourite has to be litchi chicken - partner loves loves loves the madras.prices are very very reasonable - we started off thinking perfect for out Saturday evening - now it’s Friday too and usually use it during the week if we are working late - you can order from just eat - but we normally just ring and order then nip and pick up - it’s always ready for us I can honestly say these curries are the best I’ve ever tasted - never change guys - it’s just perfect
