The best restaurants serving Indian food in London

First visited this restaurant in February 2025 and was impressed by the delicious, well presented dishes made with fresh ingredients well balanced spices. Since then a big fan of the dosa company. Recommended to my colleagues bought them with me too they loved the food . The staff provided exceptional service, specially Shiva, sai and jessy . Overall sai give very professional service being attentive, friendly and accommodating . The dosa was to die for and filter coffee was 😋😋. Overall highly recommended to everyone who is looking for an authentic South Indian food in SW London. Will always visit whenever around Surbiton or Tolworth. Thank you

We ate there regularly and also had deliveries. always good food and service. Very sorry that they did not survive Covid problems. We hope that they manage to re-emerge with the same quality food.

Found this place when wandering along Shaftesbury Avenue the food and staff were outstanding I thoroughly recommend the crispy spinach dish it was to die for such flavours.

Esta es mi tercera visita a este pequeño restaurante y no decepciona. Esta vez elegimos más opciones vegetarianas y todo estaba delicioso, especialmente el arroz saag paneer, ochra y comino. Todo estaba condimentado de manera diferente con gustos y texturas complejas. Todo fue de precios moderados, bien colocados y con un servicio amable y servicial. This restaurant is sadly no more than a takeaway waiting room , delivery riders continually walking in and out past our table , i had to get up and look for the waiter several times whilst in the corner a lady was biting her nails , in another corner i could here a couple swearing ,

Dishoom Kensington is a beautiful spot with fantastic food and a warm, welcoming vibe. The House Black Daal is legendary—creamy, rich, and absolutely addictive. The Chicken Ruby is another standout: flavorful, tender, and perfect with naan or roomali roti. Don’t miss the Okra Fries or the comforting Pav Bhaji. Finish with a Mango Kulfi for a refreshing treat. Service is excellent and the setting feels like a slice of old Bombay. Book ahead—it’s popular for good reason!
