Walking through the characteristic Brick Lane, driven by a bit of appetite and curiosity, we enter this restaurant that teleported us to India. Excellent quality raw materials, expertly cooked. Attentive and friendly service. Wide choice of vegetarian and vegan options, excellent value for money. See you soon.

We had an amazing meal tonight at Bengal Village. Vegetable samosas, several prawn dishes, butter chicken and Bhuna. Everything was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Our waiter, Roni, was great! Very attentive and prompt with anything we needed.

Excellent food (spicy just right!) and attentive service, a truly top Indian restaurant

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately it fell just a little bit short of our expectations. We went on a Friday, so the restaurant was quite busy. This unfortunately meant that service was all over the place. It took a long time for them to take our order, forgot that we asked for glasses for water and there were other small hiccups. The place is loud! At some point we could barely hear each other across the table. The food was good, especially the tikka masala, but the butter chicken was sadly just okay.

If you are looking for a hidden gem within the vibrant, bustling urban landscape of London, look no further. Curry Bazaar is the perfect spot, an amazing, vibey atmosphere. Food which would blow Gordon Ramsey’s mine and service that leaves you speechless. If this London hidden gem sounds like you, it is located within the heart of brick lane.

Curries were very tasty - and I consider myself a curry snob. Naan was also good. Dips with popadoms left a little to be desired, for me, but all round - great deal and yummy! Tommy was super hospitable as well - great guy.

Food average but not bad. If you want to be in a restaurant with half of the tourist population of London then this is it. Definitely better on Brick Lane.

Only reason service isn’t 5 star is because Rajj wasn’t able to be here the whole time :( Food was sexy though, I have the prawn starter, garlic nan and chicken double onion curry. House white bottle also 14.95 — also byob if you want. Recommend paying extra £1 for tikka chicken. My friends liked the paneer and prawn curry. Avoid simple chicken tikka masala.

We read good things online about this place, so our expectations were high, maybe too high. The staff was friendly and despite the place being full, the food came out quickly. However, we did not fully enjoy it. The chicken corma was really sweet, unlike anywhere we ate that dish before. The garlic naan was also tasting rather sweet. It might just be a bad choice from our side, but we left disappointed.
