Dishoom Canary Wharf in Tower Hamlets

Pete was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make my two friends feel special on their birthdays. Thank you so much Pete for being so attentive to us and making our days!

Was so impressed by our brunch visit to Dishoom Canary Wharf. I had an omelette on the recommendation of our waiter which was delicious. The Espresso Martini is sooooo good too! I was particularly impressed with the exceptional service. It is clear the team are well trained and work very hard to give a seamless experience in a very busy restaurant.

Dishoom is a professionally run INDIAN FOOD CULINARY DELICACY AND DELIGHT TO VISIT! THANKS MARTIN WHO MADE ALL THE DIFFERNCE VERY SMART AND TOO THE POINT GUY GREAT SERVICE NO QUALMS NO ATTITUDE ONLY CHEERFUL NATURE MADE ME EAT MORE!😋 All other staff cordial and good. We visited this Dishoom with a small number of close family- I've had many Dishoom breakfasts in the past at the King's Cross/Granary Square restaurant, but never eaten lunch at the chain! It's a bit tricky to find, especially if you aren't used to Canary Wharf, but that isn't a fault with the restaurant - the Isle of Dogs is complex - and on the positive side, it meant a good walk post-food! It was still only 10 minutes from the Jubilee line station. Upon arrival, we were immediately served and guided to a table - but unfortunately the table was a bit unclean to sit by, and we were immediately re-sat nearby and the issue was rectified moments later. Staff regularly attended us and made sure we were comfortable and asked if we required anything. They treated us like friends- great service! Food was quick to arrive, and the portion sizes were far larger than I had anticipated- I had imagined them to be fairly small, but they were plentiful for a hearty lunch! (I went for the Chicken Berry Britannia biryani) and really good quality!! Our waitress kept asking if we needed more water during our meal, a lovely touch!! I was not disappointed by their lunch options, just as great as breakfasts have been prior to this! I shall be returning at some point. PS: The mango sweets after we paid were a lovely suprise and really nice!

Been to many Dishooms including Canary Wharf and the experience always beats many other resturants including over priced celebrity chef resturants that think they know it all by shouting in front of the camera. Tonight we were served by Paulo383 and I must say he was exceptional. From the word go he introduced himself had a quick chat about the day etc and then on to the Dishoom menu. He certainly sold Dishoom tonight. Good quality service is possible you just got to employ the right people like Paulo383 and all customers will be happy and return.

First visit to Dishoom and what a fabulous discovery. The jackfruit biryanis was so tasty as were the sheekh kebab. Absolutely full but managed the cold rice pudding. Beth was such a great ambassador for Dishoom. Definitely will be returning

I can highly recommend the breakfast at Dishoom Canary Wharf. We arrived at 11:30, breakfast finished at 11:45, the restaurant was extremely busy but the delightful front of house, Gabija, said she would do her very best to accommodate us and we were offered seats by the bar while we waited. A short time later the Manager, Ed, came over and said that there were no tables available but would we like to have breakfast by the bar. How kind of Gabija to have actually gone that extra mile and spoken to the manager about us. They were so busy and it would have been easy for them to have turned us away. This kind of service is sadly lacking nowadays and we were blown away by the whole team - everyone of them had smiles on their faces and this definitely created a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress, Latifa, was incredibly knowledgable about the menu and went through everything so comprehensively, we chose things that she recommended and it was all delicious. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a vibrant atmosphere. The menu is extensive and unlike your typical curry house. You have to order the House Black Daal! We went with another couple and had a range of dishes including chilli cheese toast, Dishoom house chaat, prawn koliwada. I could go on, but suffice it to say no dish disappointed. Our server Greg, was superb, as were all his colleagues. We will be going back!

I love Dishoom’s Canary Wharf branch, probably because their service is the best amongst all. We were served by Naved and he really made us feel so welcome and comfortable during our time there. He kept checking in with us if everything was okay, and really made us feel at home. Made my heart happy. So grateful to Dishoom and Naved for a wholesome experience.

Gunpowder potato's with no bang and a Dali that could have come out of a jar. I've eaten in a number of Dishooms around London and they were much much better. The food was average, little spice, no heat and lazy. Was told the food had been dumbed down for western pallets even though whenever I've been to a Dishroom their has always been lots of Asians eating there, so not sure that's a good move. Our local curry (the crown of bromley) manage to cater for all tastes when it comes to heat and spice, so not sure why that can't be done here. The service was very average as well.
