AMAZING FOOD! AMAZING PLACE! If you love India and an authentic Indian food this is the place to go! The menu offers real variety and a bit of everything. I visited with my colleagues for a dinner and we cannot wait to go back. It has a great vibe and staff is very welcoming.

I went to Dishoom Canary Wharf with a friend prior to going to the Abba Arena. What a great experience from the meet and greet people at the front to the very knowledgeable and friendly waiting staff. Nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge+ guidance through the menu helped make the experience wonderful. I had the mutton pepper style dish and it was so soft and the sauce was flavourful and spicy but not too much that you can't taste the food. The rice was so fluffy and light. My friend and me both agreed that you can have a few courses with a few drinks and feel bloated. Not at Dishoom! Loved the experience and will definitely be going back when I'm in Canary Wharf. I have heard the breakfast is worth trying.

I’m speechless. I do not know what kind of words I shall write it down to express myself about this wonderful spot in Canary Wharf. From start to finish it was so excellent !!!! Great staff , great food , super service !!! I like the fact that everybody dressed how they want so they can express themselves. Honestly great restaurant , everybody should go to this place and enjoy yourselves! BIG LOVE AND I WILL SEE YOU SOON !!!!!

I had an incredible dining experience at Dishoom with my friend, thanks to our amazing waitress, Nafissa! From the moment we were seated until we left, she made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. She helped us choose our dishes, and every recommendation was spot on. The food at Dishoom was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken tikka and fish curry with greens on the side—everything was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and not too heavy. My friend also ordered a chai, and to our delight, Nafissa kindly brought a second one on the house! If you’re ever in Canary Wharf and looking for a fantastic place to eat, I highly recommend Dishoom. Great food, wonderful service, and an unforgettable experience!

I have always enjoyed Dishoom’s hospitality across London, but my recent visit to the Canary Wharf branch was disappointing due to the behavior of one front desk staff member (the lady with the mic on the right side). While the rest of the team was polite, professional, and apologetic, this particular woman was shockingly rude and aggressive. I was fasting and simply wanted to ask for water to break my fast. However, before I could even speak, she assumed I was asking to be seated(despite my already waiting 40 minutes, which I fully understood as restaurant policy). Instead of listening or assisting me, she repeatedly cut me off, dismissively telling me I had to wait for my table, even though I wasn’t even asking about that. Her condescending attitude and refusal to acknowledge my request made the situation unnecessarily frustrating. When I asked her to (listen to me)!, she went as far as calling me RUDE, all because I was simply trying to ask ( where I could get a glass of tap water)!!! The other front desk lady next to her, was kind and professional, and assisted me immediately. This was an incredibly upsetting and disappointing experience, especially during Ramadan, in a restaurant that prides itself on warmth and inclusivity. No guest should ever be treated this way. I sincerely hope Dishoom takes this feedback seriously and ensures all front desk staff uphold the same high standards of respect and professionalism

The atmosphere and the ambiance are smacking with the touch of Indian culture, but we went there for the food hearing many excellent stories from our friends but it was not to that mark as the flavour was not that great and could be very good, i do understand it is customised to the pallet of the local people but still they could have gone a step ahead to make the food more flavourful Chicken berry biryani was mediocre Lamb chops were great Amritsari fish was best Murgh malai was a good combination for the rumali roti And the mango lassi was the best in all the things we ordered Chili chicken was no flavour

We had an amazing experience at Dishoom Canary Wharf. We were served by the amazing Ollie. He was absolutely the sweetest and kindest soul and such great energy and good vibes! The Akuri was Beyond amazing and would def come back for that over and over and the bun maska was just such a delight with the delicious chai! We would def. Be coming back and having more delicious breakfast and dinners here and we would def. Like to see Ollie again!!!

January 2025 Visited on my birthday. Ordered bun maska chai - Please Please break it into two because you can't get it together. Either chai is late or bun maska is late. The first time I ordered, I got the chai first, and waited for bun maska for 5-7 mins. Second time, got the bun maska and they forgot the chai. Had to call the waiter to ask for it. Tandoori chaat platter - Average taste but one piece of sweet potato was under cooked and pineapple did not have tandoori flavour. House daal - Good Masala Paratha - Too much chaat masala. Don't add too much please.

No wait when we visited. We were able to book for a table of 10. I was too busy talking so I completely forgot to take any photos. But each dish was amazing. Service was quick and staff were very helpful. DISHOOM HOUSE CHAAT This was outstanding. Beautifully cooked sweet potato. OKRA FRIES Crispy and delicious HOUSE BLACK DAAL Rich with deep flavour GOAN MONKFISH CURRY Coconut, creamy, sweet. My favourite.

The breakfast is amazing. The service and ambience of the cafe is very traditional and authentic to mumbai. I would highly recommend it.

We went to Dishoom with a couple of friends and had a lovely time. The food was delicious, and the waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant itself has a great vibe with beautiful decor. That said, the prices are a bit on the higher side for the portions, but overall, it’s a good spot for a special evening out. Worth trying at least once!

Such great quality of food and service second to none. We love the okra fries, bhel, chicken mango salad, and Goan monkfish curry. My wife and I were really well looked after from start to finish. The food was delicious and we will certainly be coming back again.

The food is very nice but some part of the restaurant would need some refurbishing. We were sitting in the back where the tables didn’t even had matching chairs..and they were super worn out. I wouldn’t come back to visit or recommend unfortunately..i would rather order their food online.

SO rushed - we are only in London for a few days and wanted a special dinner. Multiple times we were rushed out, food came out immediately even though of waitress said it would be one at a time, clearly they wanted us in and out and we’re bothered when we asked for a desert money, considering the price that’s b really not okay. Book less and focus on a quality experience-‘we all lefted feeling the service was really not welcoming

The places is so nice. Every time I pass by there's always a queue to get in. I was told it is one of the best Indian restaurants and now I can confirm. The food is really good. We order different things to try and share. The prices are ok considering it is in Canary Wharf.

Food at Dishroom it’s always amazing. Very happy with the food ordered. The service was okay because it was a busy Saturday. It took a while to get Chai tea. Also lots of things going on the room just feels kinda noisy.

I can’t recommend this place enough! Being a big restaurant lover and foodie, it has been such a long time that I really wanted to try this place. The expectations met the fantastic experience. I confess that I’m not a fan of Indian cuisine, but perhaps because this one is a bit modernised, it did conquer my heart.

Service: 5/5 We were warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to our table. Greg provided excellent service with a smile, showing courtesy throughout. It was our anniversary and in 2 days my wife's birthday,the desert we ordered was complimentary from Dishoom, this was a surprise and most generous offer which tops everything. We had service by Reshma who was fantastic. Very calm, clearly explained everything and so humble made the day more special. The only thing I think missing from menu is Limbo/Sharbat drink which is quite popular in Gujrat.

The staff and service was fantastic. The unlimited chai was delicious, spicy and totally worth it. The double bacon naan roll was tasty but too small for the price.

I would say this is a nice place to dine out with friends or your significant other. I would not class it as a family place. The food was quite nice, however, very pricey for the portion sizes. The service was great, however, it was so busy that it almost felt like no one was around. The atmosphere I did not like as it was very noisy and tables were very close together. You couldn’t hear yourself think. It was a nice experience, but I don’t know if I’ll be returning.

We visited Dishoom for breakfast after receiving an offer for a complimentary breakfast naan for four guests as a goodwill gesture due to a prior closure for staff celebrations. While we’ve always appreciated the excellent food and service at Dishoom, this visit left a sour impression. The food, as expected, was excellent. However, the service fell far short of the usual high standard. The manageress was curt and unapproachable, and when we mentioned the offer, she insisted on seeing proof despite our prior check-in and confirmation. Even after providing evidence, only one naan was comped instead of all four, as clearly stated in the email. We had to track down staff to resolve the issue, which turned what was meant to be a thoughtful gesture into a frustrating ordeal. Dishoom is a favourite of ours, but this experience lacked the warmth and hospitality we’ve come to expect. We encourage the team, especially management, to ensure customer service reflects the usual high standards, regardless of circumstances.

Love this place. Great food, great views, and great service. Keep it up!

Best Fine Dine place in London to experience Indian cusinie. I tried Chilly Butter Bhuta which was really amazing. Would also recommend trying mutton over chicken. The ambience is really terrific 🥂

I’m a bit late in leaving this review, but I have to share our wonderful experience from last summer. We went to Dishoom for a birthday celebration, and the service was truly exceptional. The gentleman who served us went above and beyond. When I subtly asked if we could have a candle on our dessert, he was more than happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, there was a small mix-up, and the dessert came out without the candle being lit. He was so apologetic—even though it really wasn’t a big deal—and to make up for it, he brought us two complimentary chocolate chai drinks. To top it off, he even took the price of the dessert off our bill, which was such a thoughtful gesture and honestly, it made our night! I’ve been to several Dishoom locations, but this one really stands out. The food is always amazing, but the level of care and attentiveness we experienced here will definitely make us go out of our way to return. Highly recommend!

Cece, our server, was wonderful! Even though we’re regulars, she took the time to make sure that we understood the menu and the items that they were out of for the night. She was very attentive, and checked up on us often to ensure that the food was to our liking, and that everything came out perfectly. She then recommended the seasonal coconut dessert, and it was phenomenal!! It’s wonderful to come to a place that’s service matches the food– there’s no shortage of good food in London, but great service is hard to find. Thanks, Cece, for making our night!
