The best restaurants serving Indian food in London

Un amigo nos invitó a este restaurante. Estaba tranquilo cuando estuvimos allí, un domingo por la tarde. Éramos los únicos clientes. El menú es bastante extenso con todos los platos principales a un precio de alrededor de 14. Pedimos fideos de gambas, lemak nasi, carne de res, arroz kuey frito, wat tan hor y pollo satay. Todos los platos se ven bien cuando se sirven, pero en mi opinión carecen de sabor. El mejor plato para mí es la salsa satay. la camarera se ve desinteresada pero rápida de asistir cuando es necesario. No creo que vuelva por el precio que tengo que pagar, dado que no hay ningún factor sorpresa en ninguno de los platos que pedimos.

Desde fuera este lugar parece muy bien, pero en el interior, es realmente bastante decepcionante. Parece que todo es un poco básico y segunda mano. En nuestra visita, la tienda estaba completamente vacío y durante nuestra comida, ningún otro cliente. No estoy seguro de si eso es una señal! La comida era bastante básica y sólo había una persona trabajando allí.

The identity of Laxmi is a little confused, it's not sure if it's a take away or restaurant, the result is poor service and a limited menu. Quality of the food varies and some of the food is definitely microwaved. On the whole, not a great place to eat, but I've been to worse!

I stopped in here for some food on the way to a local hotel. The member of staff was helpful and polite, taking my order and making sure it was right. He asked how spicy I wanted my donner meat, which I was a bit surprised at, as donner meet is "as it comes". However I was pleasantly surprised with what came on a nicely set out plate as I was eating in. The donner meat was fried in some sort of spicey sauce. It was not what I was expecting, however it was really nice. I had it with some salad and chips. It was a bit more pricey than I would have paid back home in the Midlands, however it is London prices. It was really nice, I would come again if nearby.

Estaba un poco preocupado de haber leído 2 malas críticas, pero estaban haciendo una oferta a mitad de precio, así que pensé, ¿por qué no probarlo por mí mismo?Pensé que probaría un Bhuna y arroz pilaf y sinceramente no puedo explicar lo que el otro crítico experimentó porque tanto el servicio como la calidad de la comida fueron excelentes.Volví a pedir mi Chicken Vindaloo favorito, ya que me dijeron que hacía mucho calor. No estaban bromeando! Pero como aún puedo manejar el calor, lo encontré delicioso y lleno de sabor, ya que solo lo he encontrado en algunos restaurantes indios.Tan bueno como cualquier cosa que encuentres en Brick Lane y quizás realmente mejor.Muy recomendable

They serve warm tea which is not hot. i think they do not heat up the water again when customer placed a order. very disappointed .

Muy grosero y el servicio al cliente fue muy pobre, la persona con la que hablé no hablaba correctamente y fue muy grosero.No volvería a comer de ella ya que la comida era horrible y dan cantidades muy pequeñas. No recomendaría este lugar.

Ordered Chicken meal via hungry house. Meal delivered by mixing chicken, rice channa together. Pathetic taste . Chicken 65 looked 2 days old and rotten. I just thrown away food which I paid more than 10 pounds. Please never ever eat with these people.

Early Sunday breakfast for seven, no other customers. Waitress possibly new to job and had a bit of difficulty when we made flight changes to order. Food arrived in good time but was of basic to poor standard, bubble still cold/frozen and everything else of mediocre standard. I know this may be new management but they need to try harder.

Too spicy and order delivered more than an hour late

He tenido comida aquí en el pasado era muy impresionados, y una vez más fue recomendado por la gente como un buen lugar. Así que decidí probar una comida para llevar. El caballero en el teléfono era muy amable y servicial, la espera para la comida era mínimo y el servicio a nuestra llegada, era excepcional, con personal que por encima y más allá de nuestras expectativas. En mi regreso a casa la comida era fresco y caliente, y muy sabroso. Me impresionó mucho que tenía que escribir una crítica positiva (y sorprendió bastante otros habían dado los comentarios negativos)en general, un buen restaurante para comer tanto en y llevar.

On entering the “restaurant” we were greeted by green algae covered steps. As we were very hungry we still decided to give it a look inside. The eating area appeared clean and well kept. Being shown to our seats by a seemingly harassed Asian gentleman, apparently the owner, we viewed the menu. My good lady asked for a side dish and was told they don’t serve side dishes on a Thursday, which seemed quite odd. We ordered 3 popadoms that appeared along with a chutney tray, I ask if they chutney was free as I didn’t order any and was told “ no it was £4”. So I asked that it be taken away. This seemed to further increase the mans level of harassment. When ordering the owners attitude was very rude, even my nine year old daughter pointed out that “he was not a very pleasant man”. Hunger being the better part of judgment we ordered food. The food was very average and the chicken was obviously precooked and quite dry in a generic base grave. The vegetables were warmed up frozen veg and the £2 each chapatis were in fact wraps from a packet. We finished the food and rated it 1 out of 10. I went to pay and when I questioned the bill the owner became irate and when I pointed out the chapatis were in fact wraps he questioned how did I know? I stated that I was originally from Bradford and new what a curry and a chapati should be like. At this he admitted the chapatis were in fact wraps and said he wouldn’t charge us for them and that he too was from Bradford and new what a curry should be like. Then he asked me for my name and told me to never come back as he has a problem with people from Bradford coming in his restaurant. Quite bizarre We stated that we wouldn’t even consider coming back and that it was indeed the worst experience we’ve ever had in any eatery, ever. My advice if your hungry and this is the only place open, starve! You’ll be happier.

Visited this place today after travelling 3 hours. If there was an option for no stats I would’ve chosen just that! There was a warrant officer collecting an outstanding bill just trying to do his job. The owner however - will speak to customers absolutely fine (to get the money) BUT the way he spoke to an innocent man just trying to earn a living was absolutely disgusting. This guy had legit ID and had manners even after getting spoken to like that. Absolutely filthy language used by the owner, on top of that, locked us in just so he can lock the officer in. If you didn’t want to get confronted like that, maybe just pay your bills! Won’t be going to this sort of place who treats people like crap, oh and the food, so basic! No taste, overpriced for something I can make in my kitchen. No distinctive flavours at all! The owner should learn some manners and not worry about how many ‘followers’ he has as clearly this is what made his head so big. Drop your pride and maybe your so called followers will actually respect you.

Love the chicken bhunna quick service

It was not very very good, but good. It should be more spacious. Food quality and price was quite comfortable.
