I love going to SELESA, I always feel comfortable there either for a mug of teh tarik with some crackers (keropok udang) dipped in cili sauce. At times, I would go for their strawberry bubble tea. Especially during the recent long summer. It hit just the spot. The times I feel like having a heavy meal, I know i always have awesome options. For example, I love the fried chicken with sambal hijau. It goes well with their tofu with shredded chicken. If I am on the go, I normally order their nasi goreng with salted fish. And that side sambal belacan ... yummmm ... Price wise, it is not on the cheap side but it definitely not on the high side. But I believe the price set is appropriate to the portion I get. If I take out, the portion is enough for me to eat two times!

With plenty of Malaysian restaurant around the area, Selesa Restaurant is joining a long list of options for Malaysians who want to satisfy their cravings. I was sceptical before because I did not have good experience back in the days but I think they have got it right this time! Try their Curry Mee and Lamb Chops. They have awesome Char Kuey Teow as well. The restaurant is family friendly with plenty of space for small children. I would highly recommend you to give it a go.

My family and I came to have dinner and we ordered the chicken satay, mee goreng mamak and mee curry and everything tasted great! The service was efficient and the staff were friendly too. My dad had the melon bubble tea and he liked it a lot. Would definitely come again soon to try a different dish :)

Got a groupon offer that seemed good. Totally poor in all aspects. Embarrassingly took a friend and discovered how polite he was. If you paid the prices from the main menu you would probably have been even more disappointed! If I returned it would be to use the toilets which were the only above average aspect of the visit! Pricewise it would be fine dining but that was deceptive.

I saw the other restaurant branch had good reviews. Came here due to a discount and wanted something fresh and tasty. Ordered the lamb satay - old meat and reheated. Ordered and came out of the kitchen in seconds. Peanut sauce was full of oil. Ordered the beef rendang, the most dry old meat i have ever seen. Speedy service. Imagine dry and flakey with the richest sauce. terrible. Ordered some noodles, the chef got a packet from the cupboard outside. I mean packaged and put in the knife to open the packet in front of our eyes, came out of the kitchen with dry uncooked powder spice. Like sawdust seasoning. Again terrrible. Horrible experience, empty place. Never again.

I went to other Selesa Restaurant in Lexhan Gardens and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Was here for dinner a couple of week-ends ago - poor quality food and service. It was not a restaurant standard. The wine glass was cracked and to finish off, the waitress tipped soya sauce all over my friend's handbag. I know that it was an accident but still terrible experience

Booked a tasting menu at this restaurant with prosecco. The food was dry and tasteless. We were sitting outside and had to deal with children screaming and shouting all around us while we tried to eat our meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would not return.

I can confirm all the bad reviews and was annoyed that I didn't read them first. You get ripped off here and you're not even really full. Converted, I paid 37 euros for a beer, rice, a dish with lamb and a garlic naan, which didn't even taste like garlic. Rice is not included!
