Food was terrific, it lacked atmosphere simply because we were first in at 5pm (schedule to keep to) but the food was really cleverly cooked, with intriguing blends of spices and good quantities for two large hungry men. Go there. Try tye chef's specials..!

We've recently moved to the area, and we decided to try out a new Indian takeaway. Online ordering through the app was easy and straightforward. Text confirmation and eta when ready. The food itself was quite nice, my wife said her chicken rogan was tasty and the sag aloo was also nice and a good size. My lamb tikka passanda was OK, not a great deal of flavour, and the meat was a little tough! 😬 Even though it mentioned it on the app, no free poppadoms were provided. Would I order from them again, probably, but I will check out other options in the area.

If you’re hungry, this is the place to be! The portions are generous, and the buffet nights? Absolutely dangerous—my waistband never stood a chance. The service is top-notch, with staff so friendly they could charm a cobra. The bright green walls are… well, let’s just call them ‘energetic.’ But the real showstopper was when my friend ordered the Agni Chicken. The flaming dish turned into a scene from Backdraft—the waiter had to open the door, everyone was coughing like we’d been tear-gassed. Despite the chaos, it was a hilariously memorable night we’ll never forget. Great food, lively atmosphere—just bring a fire extinguisher if you’re ordering Agni Chicken!”

We had a wonderful meal at the Curry House. The food was excellent and stunning value for money. We were a group of 15 and were recommended the summer deal which included any main from the menu along with a side dish and either rice or nann. The service was also excellent. Basically we ate well and really enjoyed our evening. Well done.

A great eating experience, wonderful food a great atmosphere and lovely staff.

First time of ordering from here and I spent 57 pound well the tikka masala was just chicken no sauce the egg fried rice was that bland it was tasteless and didn't taste the egg and the keem naan only had 2 strips of meat in and waited 2 hours for delivery first and last time of ever ordering from here again

Ate a takeaway from here last night and was great. Picked two sweet dishes (makhani and tikka shaslick) which were nice. Phoned up as place we were staying is hard to find and they were very helpful. Delivered to stanhoe (despite saying it won't on the website) but advised of a way around getting it delivered anyway. Quite expensive (£42) but happy to pay for a holiday treat! Get the red sauce if you like spice for the poppadoms! It was great!

Tremendous hospitality, quality and price. Being a UK curry connoisseur, I thoroughly recommend the Northgate. Whatever your favourite dish it will meet your expectations.
