Went there on 27March.. The Restaurants Environment Totally Change.. they were working on for new look to the Restaurant.. now its looks best designed Interior!! Everyone must Visit there.. its seems like Mirror Dimension.. Everyone is full of Mirror that looks Cool!

We had the best Indian takeaway last night. Excellent customer service and exceptional curries. The portions were very good and price reasonable. Highly recommend.

We went to there in Valentines day. We tried their Vegetable Bhaji. It was super Fresh. Just look at the picture. It was fresh vegetables and it had every different vegetables… Broccoli, Carrot cucumber,tomatoe,collyflowers and many more.. When you visit to kings Lynn… The Curry house is recommended for everyone. Try their other items. Trust me you will loved it!!🥰🥰

The environment was outstanding.. me and my friend went to their at Christmas Weekend.. their service was great as well as their food.. the curry was mouth watering.. you will het hungry by the smell of the food.

Excellent food, freshly cooked and great service. I took my dad here for dinner when we were in the area- we chose it by tripadvisor ratings and it was excellent. If you love a good Indian restaurant based upon our experience I highly recommend this place. All the dishes were freshly prepared and delicious.

We went to the restaurant for the first time last night, it won't be our last visit. The staff gave us a warm welcome, the food was excellent and enjoyed by all of us (4). The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. We were lucky to get at table as we hadn't booked and we could see why it was busy with lots of regulars there. Highly recommend it.

Sunday night was busy probably due to the special deal allowing very wide choice of starter and main for a single price. Food and service was excellent. One of the best Indian meals we have enjoyed in recent years.

I first had Nepalese food at Jojolopa in Birmingham, and now whenever I go to Birmingham that's the restaurant I head for. I next had Nepalese food in York, so I was delighted to discover that King's Lynn has a Nepalese restaurant. To be honest, the menu only has a few items of genuine Nepalese food on it, the most of it being straightforward Indian, but I urge you to ask for the Nepalese items. The establishment is modest in size and does well to keep within the bounds of achievability. It does this by cooking everything fresh as ordered. The aim is not to have buckets of sauces and half cooled chicken/lamb etc hanging around on the off chance that someone will sooner or later ask for it. This was evidenced by having the moistest Tandoor cooked chicken I have ever had. Whenever in the past I've had Tandoor chicken it has been easy but dry, but this was so freshly cooked that it was a mouthful away from a cluck. Nepalese cuisine is distinct in character in that there are subtleties of flavours that I can only compare to how Thai food is compared to Chinese

Sadly we were the lone dinners for some of our visit. Very quiet for a Saturday night, I assume this would be due to alcohol not being available to purchase which is a shame as the food was pretty good.

This restaurant now close. There is an another restaurant dependent name. We was visit and disappointed.

Firstly the service is very friendly and polite , but I question a menu which has cheesy chips as a starter and something called chicken 65 ? As a main dish ?. The rice n breads are very nice and our group of four all enjoyed the starters of prawn puri, my main ( madras) had a real undertaste of tomato soup and I asked a fellow diner to confirm. It was not like a madras I’m used too and was just hot tomato soup with ( nice) chicken .. I won’t be rushing back

Please note - the restaurant has not just changed its name it is a completely new team. The news owners are from Nepal.. and are trying to be different. They do seem to be using quality ingredients and have some Nepalese dishes as well as some usual favourites. My bread was perfect - light and pillowy. Yellow dal with spinach was delicious. The staff were very attentive and noticed I had gone for healthier options so... so also avoided the use of butter or ghee etc. Will be back.

Attended without booking, one lady and one busy man serving all the customers. Mix of Indian and Nepalese food on the menu, Draught beers and bottles. The mains were average, the rice was nice. The garlic and chilli nan had not a lot of garlic or chilli in it. Difficulty getting a vat receipt upon paying, different name on the receipt. Leads to issues with my accounts later.

The tasty food and polite staff are the only things that save this from a 1 star review. Staying in Kings Lynn for my wedding anniversary, we saw this had great reviews and gave it a try - a big mistake. Waited nearly half an hour for our order to be taken and another half for the food to arrive. It seemed extremely understaffed.What absolutely ruined the evening was the screaming, shouting and general noise coming from a large party group upstairs. It was like being in the roughest pub.I asked staff to put the music up to drown the noise and despite agreeing to, they didn't. The noise and shouting made the experience extremely unpleasant and we couldn't wait to leave. Given that this restaurant is on the expensive side, the meal on the whole was very poor value for money and I cannot recommend it at all.

honestly had the tastiest curry ever on Saturday. Chicken Shamzi or something like that! Spicy and nice and always excellent service.

The staff here are friendly, polite and professional. Curry's were very tasty, I recommend the chicken pakora for a starter - we were only visiting the area or else we'd defiantly go back! Thanks :)

It arrived an hour earlier than we asked. Order included Lamb Dhansak and Peshwari Naan. Had to take the Dhansak to the sink to pour off the excess oil which floated on top of the dish before serving. Must have been prepared swimming in ghee or whatever they use as it was a good 5mm deep. The Naan was dry and tasted a bit stale. Other dishes passable but a bit of a let down and others must be with a try if this is the best they can do

One of the best curries I've had. Lamb tikka balti highly recommended. Bombay potatoes also the best I've ever had. Great value on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 11.95 for two courses with side and rice (current special offer). Highly recommended

We visited last Friday in a large group of us. The service was fantastic, and the food was very nice. It was quite warm upstairs initially, but the staff put the air con on without us asking. We found the restaurant through reviews on here, and I'm so pleased we did!

I was in kings lynn by bisicle from cambridge to kings lynn, and i had so good luck with my choise. This restaurant has an amazig service, the waiters are so kind and friendly and the food was delishes ! I would like to recommend this restaurant to everyone who will go to kings lynn !

Went on a Friday evening and it was not full, maybe it is more full on the 2 nights of the banquet deal, this may be because we felt that the ambience was not great. Having got that out of the way, I must say that the food was excellent and the waiters were very good giving a good friendly service.

I don't normally leave reviews but i feel compelled to make people aware of my discovery. We had the banquet deal - £11.95 for five courses (excellent value). The starters smelled and looked fantastic and tasted even better. The rest of the meal was equally as good. Everything is obviously freshly prepared and presented with real attention to detail and care. Staff were attentive but by no means pushy. I really hope other people happen upon this outstanding restaurant.

As a regular visitor to Kings Lynn and s lover of a decent honest curry; I can honestly say that Indian Spice is a firm favourite. Having dined in all KL curry houses. I politely say curry houses as I do not want to offend any Bangladeshi, Pakistani or Indian by referring to them all as Indian Restaurants. Over the last few months I have tried many of the dishes on the menu - Some standards some untypical many vegetarian. My conclusion is that this team is hard to beat and know exactly what they are doing. The team are genuine, honest and open. They will guide you well - and as a regular customer they often ask ... "why don't you try xyz tonight, as I think you will like it". I always do! There are two curry restaurants that I would highly recommend at the moment. There are others that, in my opinion TA users should see past the phoney reviews. The fact TA have not taken action on one in particular is totally amazing. Indian Spice has quickly risen to the high rank in KL for the right reasons. Genuine customer reviews. Hope to be back next week.

We visited Indian Spice over the bank holiday weekend. The service and the food was excellent. A lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Unreservedly recommended. If your visiting King's Lynn, go there, you won't be disappointed.

After reviewing this restaurant on trip advisor we decided to give this a go. It was quiet as it was a Monday night, we had a warm welcome and sat down. The initial thoughts where that it's nice and clean, which is always a good start. We ordered drinks and had the usual popadoms before the starter. We ordered mixed kebab which was very nice, not rushed at all and the waiter was very friendly, then I had the tandoori mixed grill with mushroom rice and a garlic nann, my friend had a king prawn jalfrezi and had a chicken dansak with pilau rice and rotti bread. The food was superb. Then to top it off we had a baileys and a brandy on the house. In all we were here for 2 hours. Nice and relaxed, with no rush. Everything cooked to order and no dings from microwaves. Great experience and certainly will recommend and visit again. Thanks.

We decided to visit this restaurant purely on its tripadvisor standings at the time, It was odd to find it empty on a friday night at 10pm, there was a lot of cleaning going on, the place had a very strong bleach odour, can you use bleach in restaurants these days?We didnt know where else to go so we stayed, we ordered, we were sceptical, and then wham! what happened, the most amazingly tasty flavoursome food appeared, there was not one thing to fault about the quality or quantity of the meal, the naan bread is probably the best in the world, the staff were all wonderful, friendly and welcoming, the complimentary drink at the end didnt go amiss, thank you.Would i return? yes in a heartbeat, surprisingly amazing.

Eaten here a few times for special occasions, the staff are really funny, kind and helpful. The food is scrumdidiliumptious. Child friendly.....I am 12! The waiter made a really cool cocktail for my dad's birthday. Can't wait to go again. Don't give low ratings meanies.

Had a delicious meal with a lovely bottle of red. Didn't feel rushed and well looked after the whole time. All the staff had a great attitude and were up for a laugh without being unprofessional. There was a nice atmosphere and the decor is modern.

Decor modern but comfortable. Service good, attentive but not intrusive. Most importantly, the food was very good to excellent. In particular the menu covered all the usual stuff, but I was spoilt for choice with interesting variations, which means I have to go back if only to explore the menu.

Lovely little quaint Indian restaurant. Ideal for small parties or couples. Great tasting food and friendly service.

Booked table for 2 it was confirmed on when we arrived they new nothing about it was pointed to the bar where 2 stools were draged .total blanked for 10 mins yet tables free tryed to order drinks twice only time they noticed was when we left can't say what food like service very very poor will never return

What can I say perfect, so friendly, food was amazing loved it, will now be our place to go!! As was my works leaving do, we had some fab cocktails, we were not rushed at all.

Returned to Indian Spice after a couple of months. The staff remembered me and some topics discussed last visit. Even remembered their menu recommendations. This is highly personal and very impressive. Wanted to try something different - so described my likes ... Prawn puri was excellent with a subtle tamarind sauce. Too subtle for me as I love tamarind - but probably great for 99% of visitors. My main was stunning. Naga chilli chicken. Rich, warm, scented and spicy. I literally cleaned the dish. Very accommodating in providing my favourite side which is rarely on a menu - Sag Dal - which was superb. And plain Nann cooked to perfection - pillowy and singed. The guys who run this place know what they are doing and travel a long way each day to deliver great food and great service. Will be back very soon.

I went with 3 friends to The Indian Spice restaurant on Wednesday 25th January 2017. We hadn't booked but had no trouble getting a table. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and plentiful. We were unable to finish all our food so were given tubs and bags to take it away. Tea and coffee were topped up as needed. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be returning, Thank You

Turned up on a Saturday night at 730 it was busy but still managed to find a table the staff was all friendly and very helpful and couldn't do enough for us we was given complimentary bottle of wine and poppadoms for the table The food was all cooked to perfection and couldn't fault a thing I highly recommend a visit here I have travel àlot with work and have eaten at a fair few Indians but this was far by the best I've ever had will be returning very soon it's a must try for any Indian food lover

Visited without booking on a Sunday evening. 7pm. Was quiet but atmosphere was there.Had starters and mains. Beer was good, food excellent- not greasy and very tasty.Staff very polite and friendly and filled out every request with a smile.They offer a banquet night which looked great value mid week.Would definitely visit again but maybe select a banquet night.Only tiny criticism was the order taking was slightly slow even when quiet but not a problem.Great place, lovely staff, delicious food. Best curry house in town by far!!!

Not gonna lie, the food was peng, top quality biryani and pilau rice, genuinely hench meal and great service. 11/10 would return for the certified pengest munch.

I had no complaints on the food and it was quite simply peng, the atmosphere was nice and chill and I would always go for the rogan josh. Would recommend to anyone who asked.

Have eaten at Indian Spice a couple of times now and would highly recommend it. The menu is extensive and everything we have tried so far has always been perfect. The staff are really friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is tastefully decorated.

My wife and I chose the Indian Spice for my birthday meal on the strength of the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. It was early on a Monday evening, so we had the place almost to ourselves. The decor was attractive and the man who served us was very friendly and attentive, so we soon felt very much at home. The food was delicious, very well presented and delicate to the palate, without losing any of the heat of the spices. I am vegetarian and I was pleased to see so many vegetarian dishes on the menu. My wife was driving, but when I asked for a Irish coffee she was brought a similar but non-alcoholic coffee free of charge, and once the waiter realised it was my birthday I was sent away with a large bottle of beer as a gift. Needless to say, we shall be back for many more meals at the is excellent restaurant in the future.

We were staying in Kings Lynn and were recommended to Indian Spice. The Restaurant is beautiful in its purple decor. Such a friendly welcome by the staff ,who could not be more corteous. The food, well such a choice and served on hot plates was all delicious and good portions.We would thoroughly recommend Indian Spice and will visit again next time we are in Kings Lynn.

We ate there recently and are returning tonight so I think that tells you we liked it a lot! One of the best things about our recent meal was that you could really taste the difference between the dishes - sometimes vegetable dishes all taste the same. The biriani was particularly good. Friendly service too.

A little sceptical on arrival as it was banquet night, not something we normally go for. How wrong can you be. The food was incredible and the portion sizes sensible. The staff are wonderful, but not overbearing. These guys have only been open a short while but are really worth visiting, they know what they are doing. Had a pleasant surprise today in finding this restaurant, the menu had a great choice of ideas, the food was great, staff where professional and service was great. The restaurant is set in a busy location, but their is plenty of space for parking nearby. Overall a great night and great meal / restaurant.

6 of us (aged from 11 to 60+) went to celebrate an adult's birthday. We ordered a mixture of 'banquets' and main meals. The food was delicious and very attractively served....lovely dishes!! The staff were friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable considering all the food we had eaten (and took home!) As it was my son's birthday he was given a most spectacular drink . We all enjoyed our visit and we will be back!!

Some great flavours in the meals we had this evening. Felt like a lot of effort had gone into the food and the service was first class. We eat a lot of Indian food and would recommend this place. Would need to come on a Friday to suggest what could be better but an improved wine list would be an idea - although merlot we had was fine with the food. Son George rated his Dansak and owner suggested this was a good a barometer of a good Indian. Agreed!

Must be one of the best indian I had in a long time.Went on Thursday evening restaurant was packed but the service was excellent considering how busy they were.For Starter we had mix platter for 9.. It was the best combination you could get in a indian..Main we all had different. I had chicken jolpori ( spicy ) it was lush My wife had Kingprawn Naga that was excellent too.Overall a very good experience and will definetly be returning.Thanks

My friend and I visited here for a get-together. My husband doesn't like Indian food so it was a real treat for me. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, without being overbearing. They made us feel comfortable, advised us about dish choice and waited patiently while we deliberated. They also served us a little of the food and then let us do the rest which we appreciated and all the food remained hot throughout the meal. Everything seemed very clean and light but not too bright and there was a good ambience in the restaurant.The food (including desserts) was delicious. We ate far too much and are looking forward to going again soon.

Visited here on the recommendation of a friend, and it certainly lived up to my high expectations.Staff were very friendly and food was amongst the best I have ever tasted. The dishes I tried were not overly hot, but bursting with flavour. I often worry that some places add heat to cover bland dishes - but that's certainly not the case here.It's not the cheapest Indian, but once you try it you will taste the quality and to me it seemed money well spent.Will definitely be visiting here whenever I am in the area.

Came here with the mrs on Sunday 18th Spetember, following a friends recommendation. Warm welcome and very friendly staff who know exactly how to make you feel at home. Fantastic to talk and they have a great sense humour which all added to a fantastic evening. The food was absolutely sublime. I had the mixed starter followed by Lagara Salon which is a balti that has chicken, lamb, prawns and a boiled egg. Trust me it works. Not to spicy and full of flavour. Also had a mushroom bhaji side and the mrs had a lamb korma which was very sweet and tasted lovely. The red wine we had, a chilean merlot, went down very well with our meal. Reasonably priced too. Reccommended to anyone who likes asian food. Will be returning.

We don't live in Kings Lynn but have relatives here. Husband and I went out for some welcome kidfree time and had a curry here. The sag aloo in particular was very good. The food was good and the service was outstanding - super attentive, friendly and quick. Location near the station was handy when coming back late from Cambridge by train. Would definitely recommend for an evening out.

The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming, the decor is modern, yet authentic. The food is delicious, not over spiced - but full of flavour. Portions are large. Meals are beautifully presented. Service is second to none. Nothing is a problem for the very attentive staff.
