We went for the Sunday buffet, Decent selection but barely warm at the start of our visit. Then the staff turned the food heaters on. a) I hope we are all well tomorrow. b) I hope the staff get some food hygiene training.

This is the first time I have ever placed a just eat order / home food delivery, found it Easy to place order and waspleasantly surprised by receiving the food ahead of estimated time.

I can't complain about the food, which is standard Indian Restaurant fare. The service was ok, if a bit slow. So why am I leaving a 2 star review? When the bill came it had a 15% service charge. I understand this for a large group. But for 3 people?! and 15%?! It's very awkward to say please remove the service charge from the bill, and I would rarely give a 15% tip. This is basically a scammy surcharge. I won't be returning until they stop this practice. In any case there is a better restaurant just around the corner.

I ate here a few times when staying locally for work. Made a detour on way home from London with family and was not disappointed. Food is very tasty and on the spicy side which suits us well. Service was good and we brought our dog in as well. Will definitely return when passing or maybe even try the Southampton restaurant.

Overcharged by 50 pounds and the waiter refused to change the bill.

Our chosen place for starting out for an evening in Cottingham, something we or I should say haven't done for many many years. As expected of a pub in prime location of Cottingham green and early evening it was already very busy with a warm inviting atmosphere. As there were 4 of us we were lucky to find a table and seats. A pint of Shipyard always gets a 👍 from me! I found on my visit to the toilets that the pub is a warren of rooms and annexes and beer garden I didn't even know where there! I was lucky to find my way back to our table! 😂 Staff were very friendly, a great start to our evening.

half the food was so cold it was inedible and yet the nann bread was hot and really nice. won't be ordering again.
