Visit if you fancy microwaved stale rice and samosas that have been sitting outside whole day

We have been using the Miah takeaway service for a while now, the food is so very authentic! We waited until we had used the service 6 times before leaving a review to see if the food was consistent and it was, i could not find any fault with the food it is excellent! The delivery service is great, delivered by a gentleman in a suit and tie with a pleasant smile and good manners, we are going to try and get a table to eat in for our anniversary dinner this week,, Love it!! Really disappointed by this place tonight, got in around 6:15 for our booking and after being seated we immediately asked if we could order our 1 year olds meal first as we would like to get him fed as soon as possible which the guy understood and said that was ok. After poppadoms and chutneys about an hour had gone by but still no kids meal, we was getting worried at this point and baby getting very restless so got up to ask the guy if he could check that the kids meal had been ordered, guy goes into the back and comes out to confirm this is getting done, an hour and a half later and finally food comes out but no kids meal at all, I wasn't happy to say the least, when I asked about the kids meal he looks at the ticket confused but says oh they'll just go get it, it was clear they hadn't even started this meal and was only just starting to cook it now, after another 5-10 minutes of waiting I asked the guys to just leave the kids meal as by now it was too late and we had to try and give him some of ours instead. Two guys came over to apologise about this and then tried to make out they was doing us a big favor by not charging us for this kids meal (oh thanks for not charging me for a meal that we didn't receive 👍) I was livid at this point and that obviously just made things even worse, all in all a massively disappointing visit and definitely wouldn't recommend taking any kids here. Shocking service.

Tarka daal and garlic naan are always great! Really tasty food and the guys are always so lovely when I collect.

This was our first visit and it will definitely not be our last! Delicious food , friendly staff, great service , fresh , tender meat in both curries and starters. Plenty of choice on menu , we stuck to our favourites chicken madras and lamb Rogan , peshwari naan and pilau rice . All were lovely . Definitely would recommend . If anyone is missing the Mangla , this could be their new go to. It's going to be ours .

Have used this takeaway since they first opened, as have all my family. So sad to say the food is just not good anymore. We have had a few poor meal recently. Put it down to a one off and tried again. Our meal last week was not much better than awful.chicken tikka mossalla was lumpy with a very strange synthetic taste and the chicken chewy as if not cooked, rice was so oily, we couldn't eat it and the nann bread was just soaken wet, cold and soggy. A nearly £40 meal was pretty much binned. Such a shame, will try somewhere different.
