The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

I love this northern Indian cuisines. The King Prawn Biryani was spectacular, even turning one of my non- believer friends to the Indian cuisine light side. The samosas are beyond belief delicious, and the sauces that go with them make them perfect. Very good.

This is the place people! I am not ashamed to say, we get a take away from here 3 or 4 times a month.their dishes are just amazing, never had a bad meal.this is the only Indian take away we use now.delivery time is also good.friendly staff. You will not be disappointed.

We have been here many times. Good starter portions. Lovely food. You often see South Asian people eating there which is always a good sign. No problem with the food or staff but…..£4.50 for a pint of lime and soda. A dash of lime and bubbly water. £4.50 for a pint of cola. How much is Cobra or Kingfisher I wonder.? Much the same I’d imagine. There is no justification for ripping people off like that. Now I think about it, we were overcharged by £2.50 for the drinks as well. So, no tip. Except this. Don’t swindle the customers or they won’t come back.

Food was absolutely 10/10 and staff were all lovely . But it’s not for a family , we went in with our 6 month old son and asked for a high chair , but they don’t provide high chairs so me and my partner had to take in turns holding our son while trying to eat our meal also . Its no issue they didn’t have high chairs but we did ring up to book and I mentioned “ 2 adults and a baby “ And we weren’t warned of the high chair situation or I’d have brought his pram in. Was just a shame

Ordered a breakfast nastha pratha was cold made by a amateur chef no doubt about it Chicken keema taste like it came out a jar the taste like cloves Curry came in plastic container I thought the government banned them POOR FISH!

Me and my Gf got the set meal. Chicken pakora mushroom pakora lamb bhuna chicken chasni nan rice spiced onions and popadoms and i can honestly say it was one of the best indian take aways ive had in a long time. Everything was fresh and super tasty. We will definitely be back! Possibly as a sit in next time with a refreshing pint to wash it down! Highly recommend! Bravo!

Este restaurante se llamaba Shish Mahal, entonces era la Sala de las Especias. Ahora se llama Indian Grill. Mi amiga Anne y yo hemos frecuentado este establecimiento durante los últimos veinte años. Hasta la última visita fue dirigido por un tipo encantador; Sammy, quien no podría estar más atento. PERO, en nuestra última visita, había otro tipo que dirigía el lugar. Este tipo nos dijo que se había encargado del lugar. Estaba ABSOLUTAMENTE desprovisto de personalidad y su atención al cliente consistía en "usted es el cliente y no me importa". Me había comprometido a no volver, sin embargo, Anne ama sus kormas, así que decidimos comer allí una vez más. Estuvimos encantados de ver que Sammy había reasumido su papel de anfitrión. Si te gusta la comida india, date un capricho y prueba este lugar. la comida es excelente, el personal muy amable y los precios son más que justo.

Love the food cant get better in area BUT never answer phone cant order on website as sez closed .... tried just eat again sez closed.... tried for over half hour to put order in via phone not answering... NOT FIRST TIME happens a lot. Great food but need to address the above sure your loosing so much business as I'm sure I'm not the only one.

went to try the food out and it didn't disappoint the samosas and the spring rolls were especially really nice with their sauce.

I went here for take out food and the staff was super friendly, I asked for their recommendations and they recommended their favorites even warning me it was spicy which I love. One of the best house side salads I've had with lots of fresh veggies and variety. overall great value and great food from this place.

Order easily taken over phone and very helpful advising. Food arrived on time and still very hot. All items tasty , well cooked and plentiful.
