Himalayan Dine in Glasgow City

Me and my Gf got the set meal. Chicken pakora mushroom pakora lamb bhuna chicken chasni nan rice spiced onions and popadoms and i can honestly say it was one of the best indian take aways ive had in a long time. Everything was fresh and super tasty. We will definitely be back! Possibly as a sit in next time with a refreshing pint to wash it down! Highly recommend! Bravo!

I was very upset to hear the tip I had given on line for the delivery driver delivering my order only receives 50% of the tip and the other 50% goes to management. I did phone and speak to the manager but he was only following instructions from the owner. I will not be leaving a tip on their site in future.

Extremely disappointed with the service at Himalayan Dine. The blonde server displayed rude and discriminatory behavior towards both myself and other Asian customers. Despite her jovial interactions with other patrons, she neglected our table, resulting in prolonged wait times for food and incorrect orders being served. When we raised our concerns, she was dismissive and refused to rectify the situation. Such behavior is unacceptable, particularly in an Asian restaurant. Overall, a deeply disappointing experience that tarnished our evening.

Impulse lunch out with a very, very picky eater. They were able to accommodate by cooking a dish that wasn't on the menu. Pakora sauce was the best I've ever had and tasted really fresh. Chasni sauce was amazing. Great service,great food, great price.

Undoubtedly the best Indian food I have tasted for a long time! Freshly made to order. Perfect dishes, perfectly served. This restaurant does exactly what it says on the tin. Great value. Generous portions. The female waitress was the star of the show! Fantastic, all she did was flash her lovely smile and treat her diners with so much attention. Didn't catch her name. We were there today Thursday 23/07/2023 for lunch. Fantastic place.

Local restaurant to us, we have been a few times. Today, we chose from the pre theatre menu. We ordered poppadoms and spiced onions as extra which were very tasty. The onions were nice with a hint of spice. Chicken pakora and veg pakora were both fresh and delicious. Mains of chicken tikka madras and chicken tikka karahi were really nice. The madras was slightly hot for our palette but all the same tasted nice. Staff very nice. Price was good value. Definitely return soon.

Don't waste your time or money, very poor customer service and lots of alternatives nearby. Took money for order then refused to deliver, 5 days to get a refund and no food.

Visited Himalayan Dine this evening for the first time with my wife and was left seriously impressed with the quality of the food. The service was fantastic too but the highlight was the lamb rogan Josh I ordered along with Nepalese chilli chicken for starters. My wife was equally raving about her chasni and veg pakora starter. Will definitely be back and telling friends.

I visited Himalayan Dine for dinner a few nights ago with family. The service was excellent from start to finish throughout the visit and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered 4 of the festive 2 course menu which is roughly £13 for a starter, curry and rice or naan bread which was great value for money. The starter of pakora was fresh and crispy and a good portion size. We ordered a selection of curries and shared them. The chana masala was amazing, with the lamb rogan josh and the bhuna being so flavourful. Really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.

As a group of friends we have been having regular curry nights for a good few years. We’ve visited many restaurants and we all agreed that the Himalayan Dine was is a stand out venue. The food was excellent, the service prompt and unobtrusive and it was exceptional value for money. We’ll be rack and we would certainly recommend it to anyone. It may not be the most luxurious of places but it was spotless and let’s face it your there for a good meal not to view the decor.

I had, the two-course lunch time special here recently, and the table buffet and also the Sunday buffet, which are all absolute bargains. You can see how much I enjoy the food here. The staff team are some of the nicest I've ever met and the food is just fabulous. Well done guys, I'll definitely be back.

My wife and I climbed the long staircase to try the lunchtime menu.At £6.95 I thought the selection was excellent. If you are after a little more there is another menu I think about £9.95. The meals we had were faultless delicious .Service very efficient

The food was truly amazing! Chicken chaat& chicken tandoori for starters followed by a Rogan Josh and garlic chili chicken tikka. Melt in the mouth. Will return. Reasonably priced too.

Been to this restaurant Saturday night with my friends . The quality of food was really good . We had momos and sharing platter in our starters, tasted really fresh and authentic. The main course was even better . We had Everest special lamb chops , Manchurian and lake side chicken , again the chicken and lamb tasted really fresh and good quality .The portion size was really good and no food colouring in their dishes , very authentic Nepalese and Indian food . And also the staff was very welcoming and standard of service was really good . I would highly recommend this restaurant .

Popped in for a meal whilst passing through the area. We used to frequent the restaurant years ago whilst it was known as Mount Shimla. Pleasantly surprised. Good food and drink presented very nicely. Great value for money. First class service from staff.

My friend and I had the two-course pre-theatre meal at Himalayan Dine Barrhead which was a bargain at £9.95 each. We added popadoms, spiced onions and a couple of soft drinks to our order, so the total for two was a very reasonable £27.00. Jugs...

Had enjoyable meal at this restaurant. Starters of mixed Pakora and Haggis Pakora. Mains of Garlic Chilli Chicken and chicken karahi. Food was flavoursome and tasty and service was attentive and friendly. Look forward to returning and trying more items on the menu. Recommended!!

Recently opened in a familiar location, this restaurant serves Nepalese Indian food which tastes great. There is a good choice of meals for all tastes, including vegetarian. Very tasty sauces. Serves alcohol and soft drinks. Covid-19 safety measures observed.
