The best restaurants serving Greek food in Wales

Absolutely scrumptious... Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back ... Plentiful portion too ... 1 dolmades 1 chicken souvlaki ... Greek food nostalgia

Visited Tholos last night for the first time, we were very impressed with the food that we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu is varied and we thought prices were very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you fancy a change from burgers and pizza I'd thoroughly recommend giving Tholos a try, we'll certainly be visiting again.

On a dreary day in Swansea taken back to a lovely Greek atmosphere. Gent who served was very polite and we were served quickly. Food was delicious fully recommend and will visit again soon.

I am really disappointed with my experience here. The food portions have gotten smaller, and the taste is much worse than before. No more sharing platter anymore. The worst part is that the new owner didn’t honor the 10% student discount they advertise. It’s frustrating when a business changes for the worse, and I won’t be returning anytime soon. Although the staff were really friendly.

Llegamos y recibimos una cálida bienvenida. El menú tiene una gran variedad de opciones. El plato de carne en particular era realmente sabroso, aunque más pequeño de lo esperado. ¡Si tienes hambre, no pidas la moussaka vegetariana como si fuera pequeña! Fue la más pequeña de nuestras cenas que teniendo en cuenta que no tiene carne en ella y era de £ 18 es muy caro. ¡Salimos a colación y dijimos que parecía más un entrante! Nos dijeron que el chef solía hacerlo más grande, pero la gente no se lo comería todo! Es una pena ya que es un restaurante tan encantador, pero nos ha pospuesto.

Service fantastic and food delicious. Came back 5 months later 22/03/2025 Service good Lasagne awful wouldn’t order that dish again. Garlic bread & chips nice tho

Great place Great food and drink just a bit small

As soon as we entered, we could see the tables were full and people looked happy. Some customers left after finishing their meals, but it took a while for the staff to clear the tables. There was just one person taking orders, seating guests, serving food and drinks, and clearing tables whenever he could. It was clearly very busy. Two staff members were in the kitchen cooking food. There were also takeaway orders, and people waited at the bar to be seated. Despite everything, the all-in-one staff member always had a smile and was very polite. We ordered Chicken grill gyros and lamb kufe which was really delicious and so softy and juicy, but we were full at the end of meal. Will surely visit again

Love the menu. Great value for money, everything is very tasty and pretty healthy! Certainly fresh. Sit down and dine in or take food away it's always nicely presented and served. Love the whipped feta dip, halloumi, gyros, fantastic chips/potatoes fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I always get a plate and then some sides. It's always a lot of food 😋 The staff are friendly and helpful. We have never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend 👌🏼 seating is limited. Even when bisy we have never waited long for an order. The shop is nice and clean it's a little small some would say cosy. Packing off city Rd can be a little challenging othevery easy to find.
