Greek Flavours By Alexanter in Swansea

What a brilliant find this restaurant was. From the moment you enter you are made to feel welcome. The staff were also honest and informed us before sitting down that there may be a wait as they had a large party in. Despite this our food came out reasonably quickly and was definitely worth the wait. I had the Afelia, and the flavours of this meal were just outstanding. You get a decent sized meal for a very reasonable price. The restaurant is obviously popular as was very busy on quite a cold and windy night. We will definitely come back to Greek Flavours when visiting Swansea in the future.

I’ve been going to Greek Flavours on Kingsway Road in Swansea every other week for the past 3 months. I am usually quite picky with what I eat, especially if it’s Mediterranean Greek food as I would expect to taste the same Greek food they have in the beautiful islands of Greece or similar to downtown Athens in Monastiraki. I can definitely say that I was very satisfied with the results. From Gyros wraps, to gemista, to the grilled chicken, all were succulent and delicious. I also enjoy having their Tyrokafteri and Melitzanosalata mezze side orders and Greek salad. I like coming to this restaurant because they also give Gluten Free options which I can select from, for my son. My orders are always takeaways. Both Marta and Alexandros are lovely people who run the restaurant and are always lovely to speak with. The staff working there are very friendly and the atmosphere is definitely Greek! Every time I go there almost every table is taken as it can get very busy during the hours from 2 to 3pm. I am very pleased with their service and food and love their Greek music. Highly recommended!

I went there to pick up food from a Uber eats order that went wrong. I explained to the lovely owner that Uber didn't want to refund my money and she kindly made the food that I had ordered. Later I found another email from Uber stating that they had refunded my money so I promptly went back to pay. Her response was absolutely amazing and the food was excellent, we will definitely visit here to have a sit down meal.

Greek flavours is by far the best restaurant in Swansea, potentially even the entire world. I've been every other month or so for several years now, and the food is consistently at a high standard and generously proportioned (cannot recommend the large chicken gyros enough!). I've never left without a happy satisfied feeling, having stuffed myself just a little bit too much, but never feeling better. I went this evening with my wife, who has two very difficult allergies (dairy and soy), and the owner created a new dish to accommodate specifically for her. It's not uncommon for her to be poisoned in restaurants, but I felt completely confident in his knowledge of all allergens across the menu, and food hygiene practices. I spoke to the chef (who I assume is also the owner) and he mentioned he had another review falsely claiming they had poisoned someone, don't listen to it these guys are great!

Super visit for family birthday meal tonight - 8 of us across 3 generations. All loved the food (mousakka, gyros, risotto, kleftiko all delicious) and the warm welcome. Delicious meals and really great, friendly, service. We will definitely be back and recommend to all. Thank you for making my daughter’s 12th birthday so special ❤️

Honestly one of my new favourite spots, the staff are amazing. The food is amazing. The venue is amazing. The vegetarian gyros and the Greek salad are incredible.

Hoy tuve una comida fantástica, empezando con Flogeres me feta, que estaba crujiente y lleno de queso feta sabroso. El plato principal, Moussaka con pita griega y un poco de ensalada griega, fue igualmente impresionante. La moussaka era rica y abundante, con capas de carne perfectamente condimentada y bechamel cremosa, mientras que la pita era suave y fresca. La ensalada griega añadió un contraste refrescante con su aderezo resistente y verduras crujientes. En general, una experiencia deliciosa y satisfactoria!

Gran servicio y comida fantástica a un precio muy razonable. Realmente no se puede pedir una mejor comida griega. Buena carta de vinos también.

We were just passing - and so delighted we went in. Food absolutely delicious and so home made and authentic. Every mouthful a treat and freshly made. Staff charming and very helpful. Restaurant and toilets (wow!) spotless. We will be recommending to friends. Christmas menu fab - £20 two courses and £23 for three. Thank you for a lovely lunch!!!

Gorgeous food! We come here often so thought it was time to leave a review! We always leave satisfied, never had a bad meal here. Great service also! Even had dessert on the house last time! Thanks so much we will be back :)

This was a first time visit. The food is exemplary, the Greek version of Risotto but done with Orzo pasta instead of rice was incredible. This was a seafood version which was stunning. Full of good seafood flavours with tomato, herbs and a spicy kick. I honestly can't wait to go back. The rest of the menu looks very good, a great variety of foods from hearty meat dishes to vegetarian and vegan. The Staff were wonderful, attentive and interested in what you thought of the food. There is a brief but well-picked wine list including a few Greek options which are rarely seen. The wine was very good, a greek white, Assyrtiko was new to me. Very nice indeed.

First time tried Greek food here.lots of good dishes to choose. Great food and reasonable price. Loved it.Coming back again.

If you love greek foods then this is the best place to go, the food is spot on, the service is top notch also, it has a nice view if u enjoy staying outside to eat

Delicious food, the Gyros is amazing. The owner is so Greek it's amazing, gives up the atmosphere. They had a new staff member who was a bit all over the place, but it is okay! First day is always a lot! Great job mate. Recommend 10/10

Moved from Swansea a few years ago but we used to have Greek food from Alexanter at every uplands market. Came back to Swansea for a holiday and was very happy to see that he now has a restaurant he completely deserves it amazing food, friendly customer service and just an all round Swansea gem. The chicken and pork gyros are so juicy and flavourful and the tzatziki is to die for I could eat it with a spoon. 10/10
