The Village Bar Cafe in Swansea

We didn't eat here but the drinks were well priced, the staff were amazing and the atmosphere was energetic! We will be back. Oh yes, we will be back... We went back! It's still a great place! Really friendly and looking forward to coming back again soon

Very, very slow service. Food is good, but the business isn't really sure what it wants to be

Tasty well cooked breakfast and excellent value for money. A must if you’re in the area. Will definitely be visiting again.

Top bar set back in the Killay Precinct. Great atmosphere, beer and staff. EDIT: Wednesday night is Thai night provided by TyBach. EDIT visited this weekend 19th April. Sill a great place with great beer.

Really lovely small bar. Does daytime coffee and cake. Small food menu in evening. Also offers a breakfast menu. Lovely atmosphere. Also offers breakfast menu between 10:30am and noon. Friendly staff. Has outdoor seating and is dog friendly.

Called in one morning for coffee and a cake. The Village was fairly quiet the morning we went so the service was good, sometimes it can be quite busy and there can be a long wait. The coffee and cake were good as usual.

Special place with superb service. On a recent visit to Swansea we were recommended to try the Village. Such a welcoming environment, spotless, charming in its size and mood and hosted so well that we felt immediately like regulars. Food, drink and welcome made this a very warm addition to our fleeting visit. Thank you.

Excellent food as always.Platters of meat,cheese and seafood were presented in a beautiful way and were delicious. The food together with friendly staff make this venue one of the best.

I can highly recommend this lovely family run bar, absolutely excellent customer service very friendly Happy staff nothing too much trouble for anyone. Very covid aware, will be returning soon.

Myself and my wife went to the Thai night last night And we were served by Lucy. The food was absolutely stunning and very plentiful. And the service was outstanding Lucy and her team were amazing i can why they have so many 5 star reviews We have re booked for next it was that amazing

We frequently come to the The Village for drinks and the quiz, the Bar/Café has a really friendly atmosphere and the team always provide excellent service. We bring our fury family member (dog :D) and the staff couldn't be more accommodating, bringing him water, treats and always making a fuss of him. He enjoys his visits as much as we do! One week we were told about a pop up Thai night by Lucy and decided to book. We were not disappointed, the food was fantastic and matched with the usual excellent service. We had a lovely evening and have booked again with some friends. We would highly recommend The Village Bar Café.

Thanks for a great meal on our last night staying in Mumbles. This was an excellent find and if we were staying longer we would have definitely returned. We were made to feel very welcome and safe in these very difficult times of Covid 19. We would have no hesitation in recommending and if we are in the area will most certainly go again. Popped into the Village for some lunch which was absolutely beautiful. Decided to book for an evening meal as the menu looked so nice! The food was absolutely amazing in the evening and great value for money. Had the nachos to start which were sooo nice! Can’t wait to go back for them again! We’ve also had the breakfast here before lockdown, which was also a fab choice! Service in the pub is always great!

We came across this gem and stopped for breakfast on our way to Rhossili Bay. From our greeting at the door and then to our table the new rules for eating out were impeccable. The food was amazing and if we ever visit the area again we would definitely go back!
