Great super tasty food great value to size

The most gorgeous Greek food! The gyros- I had mixed chicken and pork, is flavoursome and delicious! I ordered a "plate" which is a box crammed full of gyros, little round chips, salad and pitta! Such good value for money. Staff friendly. Bit of a bummer to park outside so usually order as a delivery. I'll never not come here!

Soy vegano, le envié un mensaje al restaurante unos días antes para preguntarle si atendían a veganos, pero no tuve respuesta. Iba con comedores de carne y lo habían reservado, así que me fui. En el menú hay múltiples opciones ‘veganas’, pero en mi experiencia hay que hacer preguntas... y claro, no tenían absolutamente ni idea de lo que significa veganismo... servidor sacó lo que era vegano y luego admitió que todo se cocina en el mismo aceite, en las mismas placas calientes y que aparte de una simple ensalada y hummus no había nada vegano. Es un escándalo que el restaurante ‘vegano’ flash en los menús y sitios web sin idea de lo que están en. Diré que el servidor fue educado, pero sin pistas sobre lo que estaba haciendo, no lo suficientemente bueno.

Had the halloumi wrap. Was a chunk of it in a bread, didnt reach the end of the wrap. Filled with a overload of sauce. Alot of salad.

Delicious food, had chicken gyros and lamb souvlaki. Both were huge portions and really tasty. The service was lovely

Had a souvlaki with a friend and I literally loved it, the size was big, flavours were great and the guys working there they were very polite and had great service from them. As a Greek person I can say that their souvlaki is on point .. loved it. Thank guys!

Best meal I have ever had in Cardiff!

Clearly a family owned restaurant. Incredibly delicious dishes, reasonable price. I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but this place is absolutely worth the visit. The souvlike sauce is very good too!

Visited here for the first time a month ago .....wow love the food

We went there yesterday and the food was lovely, and you get quite a lot for £15. The staff were very friendly as well.

Couldn't believe how great the food was..... Best I've had outside of Cyprus, staff were fabulous and friendly and really generous portions so was fabulous value for money too.

Lovely fresh food. The salad was fresh cut and seasoned with a bit of olive oil . I asked for my gyros to be spread on a plate as can't eat it as a wrap and it was lovely. Very clean and staff very friendly. 100% recommended 👌

The owner is the real deal, amazing food and quality service, could not reccomend a better spot in cardiff authentic greek gyros thats all i have to say, whether your sober or drunk this place is the spot

Best greek food in Cardiff. We must have been eaten more than 15 times here and just realised I forgot to rate it. Food is amazing, staff is always nice and kind and the place is sparkling clean.

Best gyros in Cardiff. Great value for money

A very yummy gyros place if you want gyros that taste authentic! I recommend the Greek sausage gyros. Lovely staff and they do student discount as well! They currently have a 2 gyros for £13 deal at the moment but this could change.

Flipping delicious. Good food, great price, friendly staff. What's not to like? Only reason I didn't 5 star the atmosphere was because they weren't busy when I arrived.

I will remember the lamb souvlaki pita wrap as one of the worst I ever ate. The pita was old, rewarmed, burnt and bitter, with also a funny taste of bad quality charcoal. The meat was hard and smelly, definitely not from lamb but from an old animal. Even the potatoes were old. The massive amount of tzatziki couldn't cover much. I didn't have any problem with the service while waiting there for my order. Unfortunately I regretted going there.

Huge portion of delicious food! The Gyros plate and the halloumi plate are both excellent.

I am quite addicted to the salad's here. Particularly the Greek Salad, which is huge, fresh and very tasty. It's a basic eatery, clean and simple. But the food is worth going out of your way for.

We had great chicken and lamb souvlaki pittas with salad, sauce, fries all in. Very filling, freshly made and good value. Nice clean loos and friendly service.

Wanted to try something different so tried Souvlike Lamb Wraps with garlic sauce. The wrap has salad and their own style chips so no extras needed. Was very impressed with the flavour and style.

Visited recently, was charged £10 ..mixed souvlaki had 3 pieces of pork one chicken skewer(rubber chicken) no salad just some sauce and two breads . Waited 30 minutes. Absolutely awful cold food .

Amazing food and amazing portions! Staff are friendly and welcoming and I just can't get enough of the grilled wraps- definitely a taste of Greece here in Cardiff !

Ordered from delivero, was missing items from the platter for two. Called to amend this and received no help, person on the phone was very rude and unhelpful, they wanted me to drive and get the bread and when I asked them to redo my whole order as my food would have been cold by the time I got home they point blank refused and told direct my complaints to delivero. Absolutely disgusted with their lack of customer service! Would not recommend.

I was severely food poisoned from the club sandwich, which contained uncooked pork on 20th Oct 2022. The 2 staff look completely overrun so its no surprise this happened.

Not bad but very expensive for what they offer. £7.50 is too much for a pita wrap.

Tasty gyro generously filled with meat, veg and chips. Only suggestion is more sauce please as it could get a little dry.

Best Greek restaurant in Cardiff! Two ladies who works there are amazing, always super friendly and helpful. They go extra mile for the customer. Halloumi wrap was very tasty and decent portion

Used to be a favourite, however the increase in price is outrageous considering the quality did not improve and neither the portion sizes.

The portions are generous, the food was nice 😋😋😋, I'd recommend any time especially if you are a group of people you'll get value for money

Gorgeous fresh food. We are a lamb, chicken and a halloumi wrap. Friendly helpful staff, all food was cooked freshly when we arrived and presented beautifully. Only drawbacks were they only took cash and the table needed a wipe down.

Best Greek food I've had in the UK.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon, when City Road was bustling as usual but this restaurant was quiet. Sat in, had some hummus with delicious warm pittas, then pork souvlaki and a moussaka. Everything was delicious and served quickly. Deliveroo and Uber Eats orders didn’t take priority over actual visitors as is often the case now. Will definitely return.

La comida muy buena, lo malo es que es un lugar pequeño y hemos tenido que estar fuera y hacia un poco de frío. Precio muy bueno.

5 stars for food, 1 star for open time schedule that is not updated properly... Travelling through all city to see "we are closed on Tuesday", while it's so easy to modify opening times on Google.... Update: Thank you for updating opening time on Google. :)

I was born in Cyprus, so I know when something is good, especially when it's meant to be Greek, and this is good! People are friendly, and the food is to a high standard.. can't complain here really.

Rude staff and although I asked for no onions due to allergies, they were included. On top of this the food was burnt and tasteless. Would not recommend or eat here again.

Absolutely shocking paid 35 pound for a 4 person platter they gave me the 2 person platter and when I called them about this they called me a liar and put the phone down don’t ever go here because if the platter they give me was for 4 people then it could barley feed 3 children disgusting 🤬

Food was tasty. Prices average. There was a big mistake on my order (amongst others I received a wrap instead of a portion - circa £4 overcharge and most importantly less food), so I decided to give them a call to give them the chance to fix it. I spent 11min on the call with no results as they weren't very keen at helping. I ended up giving up as I couldn't spend my night talking to them. 4 stars for the food, 1 (or better 0) star for customer services, so 2 stars in total seems fair to me.

Great quality food. My family love the wraps and fries. The price is quite good and the shop is very clean.

Delicious authentic Greek food. We've tried many things on the menu now as we've visited multiple times and each time is just perfect. Quick service, which you cannot fault and the food is reasonably priced. The wraps are huge and are more than filling! We always drive down to collect and have never had an issue. We will be back again!

I have been a very loyal customer with hundreds of pounds of orders. Just the other day they jacked up the already inflated Deliveroo prices even more. £6 for a wrap, up from £5.50, which was still a lot of money. Nope. Done. Your food is good but it's not that good.

Found this little gem yesterday .The food was so yummy. All staff really friendly and helpful and a lovely setting to sit down inside. We definitely will be back.

Authentic Greek food Cooke on charcoal grill, very good value & student discount available

I’ve ordered here a few times, but as they don’t deliver I have to go and collect it which wouldn’t be an issue if they didn’t nearly always forget things you’ve ordered and paid for. The first few times I didn’t notice as I checked the receipt on the bag which was correct, but items were missing from the bag. I rang tonight to explain and they expect you to come back out again. The service is usually very poor.

We ordered the food for the first time and an item was missing , call the restaurant to check , A lady Anna picked up the phone , the lady on the phone was so adamant that they have put the complete order, so rude , not giving us a chance to speak even. Me and my husband both worked in hospitality industry , so we know the importance of customer service.After 5-10 mins of arguing I said I can send you a picture of the food , and the explanation coming from other end is , you might have eaten the food , how can I trust you . The item was a chicken skewer (£2.70) she lost a customer for a lifetime , and moreover ruined my evening , which could have been lovely. Please retrain your staff.

I lived in Greece for a few years came home in 1999 , only had one Greek meal since then . I recently drove past souvlike and was like a child in a toy shop . Travelled 20 miles to get there today and will be doing it again tomorrow. Stunning food , friendly staff and spotlessly clean . Really impressed, happy eater 👍

In love with the mixed platter!

We ordered the £20 meal deal which is advertised as :skewers ,chips salad etc but nothing to say how many or a photo .Website need say what you are getting . It was in fact 8 skewers ,chips ,salad and 2 dips plus 1 pitta bread ,the meal was absolutely delicious and really tasty ,I think if I order again I will go for the £16 sharing platter which there is a photo of so you can see what you are getting ,very little difference in the amount of food 6 skewers chips ,salad 2 dips plus gyros . and 2 pitta bread. The food makes up for the lack of online info reminiscent of holidays in Greece truly authentic food.

Just great value. Best walk in and take out food there is. Great value. Will sit in for a larger meal at some point. There is no other take away which satisfies my needs better than this one. The fresh baked bread they wrap your giros in is a winner. Great value for money

Always amazing, awesome food, fast service and lovely staff. If you are thinking of getting some regular fast food try this place instead, way better for you, cheaper and more filling, and excellent flavours!

POOR QUALITY. The food has taken a real turn for the worse. It was fantastic about 6-8 months ago, I used to go there once or twice a week. But since they've cut costs, and you can taste the difference. I've stopped going entirely. E.g. replacing the excellently made fried potato slices, with standard cheap fries.

Only when we realised that we had half our order. When phoning them they replied with we don't deliver to your area(which is fair). Was willing to travel back into town but was told to come back tomorrow because they're closing in the next hour. Will revisit the review tomorrow "if" resolved.

Great Greek restaurant, authentic tasting food and always polite and friendly service from all the staff. The tzatziki and Greek salad are delicious and the pork Gyros is to die for. Only small moan is that if you order delivery, we have regularly had things forgotten or missing from our order. However, really nice place to go and sit in and when everything does arrive in a delivery, it all tastes delicious!
