Lovely Italian with outstanding foods and great service, recommend!

Very good, traditional italian restaurant. Food was very nice, the dishes were a little small for my preference (but i can eat alot) and the ordered sides of garlic bread and fries helped. Overall very good.

We had a fantastic meal in August we decided to bring our daughter she had the steak absolutely loved it melted in the mouth. Be back again and again meal fantastic. U have to book very popular family run restaurant well worth the visit

Been here a few times before and always enjoyed it. However, tonight, the restaurant surpassed itself. Great service, better food and a great ambience.

Service fantastic and food delicious.

Had an early evening meal. We both had the garlic mushrooms to start. My friend then chose the Spaghetti Bolognese and I went for the Cannelloni. We didn't order any side dishes and we were glad we didn't. The food spoke for itself. My Cannelloni was the best I've ever eaten. We both chose the pistachio panna cotta for dessert. Again it was just beautiful. We thought the cost was very reasonable, given the quality of the meal. Service was attentive and very pleasant! A very nice eating experience!

Food was nice yet overpriced. Service was really bad. We waited for a while for the staff to take our drink order, even though it was very quiet. The staff is cold, unfriendly. Decor is awful. I won’t be returning there.

Had a long weekend in Llandudno recently and ate here on 2 out of the 4 nights we were there, having enjoyed our first meal so much, we went back for more. I would possibly advise booking, as although we `walked in` on both visits, it was early and it wasn`t long before people were being turned away. It got busy. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food cannot be faulted. If we are in Llandudno again, we will definately go back there.

This was the most appalling restaurant I have ever been to. Shown to a table. Took over 15 minutes to come and take our order. Even put the wine glasses at the end of the table to let them know we are ready to order. Then when meals were bought out my meatballs were cold. The sauce was bland. Food replaced but my family had finished while I was eating. Meatballs had no flavour to them either. Even told a couple who were about to go in not to bother. Stay away!!!!!!!!

Excellent meal, nice little restaurant, good selection of starters, main and deserts and Well worth a visit.

I booked a table for 4 of us, and on entering the restaurant heard a very loud sneeze coming from the kitchen, my partner saw it happen and the man didn't attempt to cover his face at all, he just turned to the side and let the sneeze out. He looked very unkempt. We were led to our table, which we didn't stay on, we found a different restaurant to eat in. There were only another 2 people in there at the time. And strangely enough since coming back home we have had colds as well. Will not be visiting again. Unhygienic

We were lucky to eat at this lovely Italian last night. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food is first class and would highly recommend the seafood pasta, tiramisu, and afrogato. This is a family run restaurant, and if you are in Llandudno, please give it a try.

This was a wonderful experience. Pleasant place, staff are welcoming. Food was excellent. Best to pre-book as I think they get very busy. Will definitely go back.

We had a lovely meal at the La Taverna restaurant. The meal was delicious salmon pasta followed by ice cream. I will certainly be going again.

Fantastic menu and staff. Nothing too much trouble and timely with their service. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting Llandudno. I have dined there on numerous occasions previously and will continue to do so. LaTaverna is always the first on my list of restaurants to book whenever I visit Llandudno, which I do several times a year.

Excellent Food, can't fault the service or quality and would have no problem recommending this restaurant. Next time we are in Llandudno we will be booking again.

Absolutely incredible Italian restaurant tucked away in a side road. This place is a hidden gem, we booked last minute for our 30th wedding anniversary and they managed to squeeze us in with another couple. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. Will definitely visit again thanks for a lovely evening.

Again we've been going to La Taverna for around 12 years never ever failed to be very pleased with the food , service , atmosphere its like oldie worldie Greek restaurant not modern but traditional will always continue to eat there lovely 😋

The food was lovely, the sevice was good and friendly until the main course was finished. They don't sell draft beer, its bottles so quite expensive. We had been drinking earlier so only ordered 1 beer and then drunk water. We waited 20 minutes to give dessert order, if I'm honest we were quite full but also got fed up of waiting and asked for the bill when we eventually could get a waiters attention. I left cash, I did intend the rest to be a tip, however, no offer of change or a goodbye when we were leaving, left us wondering what went wrong, we felt it all fell apart and put a bit of a dampener on us returning.

If you are looking for a top-notch Italian restaurant in Llandudno then look no further than this hidden gem! Wonderful little restaurant with a lovely ambience, staff are very helpful and courteous. Service was brilliant, in some restaurant's I have been to, if they are busy, means you have to wait for ages for a food and drinks order - not so much here. The small layout means that it is just about right for the Italian ambience and the service flows smoothly. Food is fabulous - I had Parma ham and melon for starters (sounds unusual, but is delicious), followed by Salmon and prawns in pasta with a very tasty tomato sauce, all very tasty and cooked to perfection. Make sure you book ahead - when chatting to the staff, they had already turned away several couples / groups who had not booked. Cannot fault this place - fabulous food, fabulous staff, fabulous evening! Thank you!

We were recommended here as a good place to eat. I'd recommend it as well, great staff, excellent hot fresh food and reasonably priced. If you want to go, I would advise booking as it was full when we were there.

It was our wedding anniversary and in Llandudno for just one night but it wouldn't have been complete without a visit to this lovely restaurant. The pizza here (Italian sausage) was the best my husband had had since the last time we visited, I had chicken in ham and cream sauce with a hint of tarragon, gorgeous, followed by ice cream and washed down by bellinis and wine 😊. It's only a small space so you do need to book but the staff are lovely and you don't feel rushed. I can't recommend this place enough!!! We will be back.

This restaurant gets very busy we had to book..clean inside with attentive service... However, the food was average at best.The garlic bread with cheese was two pieces of square foccia with cheese, not circular flat garlic bread like you expect...it was basically cheese on toast??! Bizarre..The pasta dishes were very average.. not ridiculously expensive but not worth the price. We've had worse, but won't be back.

We were staying at The Belmont Hotel next to this lovely little Italian restaurant. I have read previous reports giving high-level satisfaction so we popped in and was able to get a table. At 7.00pm most of the tables were full with attentive staff trying to keep up. The food was first class, high quality and served with great efficiency. Terrific value for money and well worth a return

our orders were taken by 3 separate members of staff so unfortunately we never received our drinks order and had to have the amount removed from the bill, manager gave us a discount to apologise. food was nice you have to book a table here as its only a small place.

The only restaurant I have been to where you have to pay for sides orders. The lasagne was tasty but more sauce than meat and pasta. No italian atmosphere and noisy. The only saving grace was the young waiter.

The staff are pleasant but the service is slow and unnattentive, 45 minutes wait for our starter. Cheap wines on the wine list at expensive prices. The food is average, starters were ok but neither of us finished our mains they were bland.

Lovely Restaurant with lovely food and staff. There isn’t many tables therefore you are well looked after. The food is brilliant, pizza has ampule toppings and cheesy garlic bread is exceptional! Really recommend this place for a filling hearty Italian meal :)

We traveled from the Wirral for a short break and decided we wanted some authentic Italian food for our evening out as a family. La Taverna did not disappoint! From the faultless and friendly service to the tastiest Italian food we have had outside of Italy. One of the nicest meals we have had anywhere. The front of house guys were lovely and even sorted a mini cheese plate for my wife alongside her coffee. The Tiramisu was divine. And the Ragu sauce, wow! Even the small details such as the olives and focaccia were so fresh and full of flavor. This place is a hidden gem tucked away in Llandudno town center.

Didn’t even manage to eat. I’d booked a table two weeks before I knew we’d be going. They took my phone number and my name. We arrived a the restaurant on time looking forward to a nice Italian meal that was never going to happen. They denied taking the booking, however the restaurant had two very large parties in, I guess we know where their priorities lie. As it was a bank holiday weekend everywhere was packed. On our first night in Llandudno we came across La Taverna by accident but our second visit which was on our last night in Llandudno was by design. Both occasions were first class and the food, service and everything else was a treat - but be warned - portion sizes can be large and you have to be prepared to share a desert!
