Soraztra Bar in Cardiff

Lovely relaxed evening with my 2 children and my parents. Food was delicious. Served with consideration for allergies- coeliac and the appetites of my boys! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. I wish there was something similar nearer to home! If you live in walking distance of wellfield road and roath park this is one not to be missed!

A wonderful small cosy restaurant. Really good, prompt, welcoming service. We all enjoyed our food, which was well presented and so tasty. Will return here again.

The wraps here are probably the best lunch you can get in Cardiff, certainly outside the city center. Great sport for dinner too. Can't recommend this place enough.

Nice yes but.... was it authentically Greek??? That is debatable. My chicken slouvaki was ok but the chicken wasn't fresh, it was rubbery, and felt like it had been recorded. The pitta was dry and like cardboard. On a positive the stifado was very tasty. We have eaten in Greece many times. Was this authentic Greek? No. Part of the meL was nice but none of it blew us away.

My favourite place to eat! Went for an evening meal recently, always great food, served piping hot and generous portions. Highly recommend the lamb chops and the stuffed peppers. My personal favourite is the hand made cheeseburger.. lovely wines and nice beers. Service is always great.. They even do a great cuppa tea.. Nice Beer garden and even party room upstairs for hire.

We went for our 20th anniversary with the kids and my parents after reading the reviews here we expected better frankly. The service was fine, albeit rushed. We wouldn't normally direct to have to request mains aren't brought with starters. Also the first "Greek" place we've been to with no meze dishes. It really as the most unauthenticated Greek restaurant we've ever been too. We go every year to Greece and this was a very poor imatation. We ate the food quickly and left without complaining as that would have been pointless. Shame really as they've got a great venue and staff are nice.

This is a favourite eating place for me, the only beef/chicken burgers I've ever enjoyed and chips are always good and hot .. food is always fresh and enjoyable they also do my Favourite Rosè wine! So handy being at my usual shopping area to pop in for lunch or early evening tea ..

Another great evening. Always fabulous food here, food is always freshly prepared and served hot. 5star from me!! The new stuffed peppers are delicious, new favourite of mine.. hand made cheese burger is still best burger I’ve had anywhere. Love the wine selection also.. Great atmosphere and service. We booked a table for 19 on the phone as they don’t do online booking. Location is in the centre of Wellfield Rd, easy to find but extremely difficult to park. Nicely decorated, clean and elegant. There’s a bar for alcohol. The cuisine is mixed Greek and Turkish. The food is nicely presented but not big portions, and they taste just mediocre. The price is reasonable. It didn’t entice me to go back again.

First time visiting this restaurant, on entering we were greeted with a friendly waitress. Atmosphere was lovely and very welcoming. Food was very tasty. Would highly recommend and look forward to another visit. Thank you to Management and all the staff .

Can’t speak for others. I have been going to ordinary Greek restaurants for over forty years. I normally love them. Here, I had fatty souvlaki, served with glutinous tzatziki, a microscopic salad, tasteless dry pitta I left most of - oh yes, and fries. Which I asked to have replaced by rice. But they don’t have rice. Although they do, in vine leaves. Also deeply average. And the Pinot was horrible. I NEVER leave wine. I did leave some of this. All accompanied by deafening and unpleasant music from the open kitchen. I Won’t be back.
