The best restaurants serving Greek food in England

I have been to Yamas 3 times now, and each time I have really enjoyed. Prices are very reasonable for large delicious plates! My favourite starter is the Creta Cheese! Give this local restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed.

The kebabs were as lovely as displayed. Would recommend this takeaway! Very friendly customer service too!

Beautiful pizzas! My 3rd visit and I’ll definitely always recommend it. Nothing fancy but absolutely delicious pizzas are made and eaten here!

Phoned explaining wrong kebab sent was told they don’t do kebab ordered .Who would know you can only have what they send and not what is on the online menu,fries atrocious,never again

It was Soul weekend in Margate so everywhere was busy. Tried the Slouvaki as there were no queues and even though I’d heard it wasn’t good. The food was very ordinary and overpriced for what it was, the restaurant itself is soulless and unfriendly, really a fast food joint with some seating. My friend and I both ordered the chili versions. There was little spice so asked if we could have more chili. They charged £2 for a tiny tub of a mixture that still had little heat. When we pointed this out to the waitress the manager came to the table. He said this was the only way this restaurant served chili. He was abrupt and discourteous, with no interest in our opinion. We said we wouldn’t be returning, he clearly didn’t care. Avoid if you can, no need to go suffer indifferent, expensive food with appalling service (although the waitresses and waiters were fine).

Just ordered fish and chips + extra chips what a fantastic meal. Cooked to order in no time, the fish is best I’ve ever had and chips was perfect. Will definitely be back. 👌🏻

Food was tasty but very overcooked. We had Cod and chips but it was well overcooked. The chips were very tasty as were the mushy peas.

Depende del personal que trabaje, pero tienes suerte bañándote con los modales. En cuanto a la comida he probado mejor comida obsoleta en mi nevera, bastante sosa y rellena de papas fritas de celosía para rellenarla, también tanto yo como mi amigo estábamos muy enfermos un par de horas después con la comida de aquí siendo lo único en común. Por lo tanto, decir que volvió más rápido de lo que bajó. Evitar la comida sería el mejor consejo para aquí

Coffee as always was extra ordinary! I tried their famous Freddo Cappuccino (Cold Capuccino ) with the creamy froth ! Barista are happy and willing to assist you ! Cool place and a melting pot of locals and tourists !

De acuerdo, buena relación calidad-precio, visité un par de veces y probé los gyros de pollo y las envolturas de flafel 3. 90 por los giroscopios y patatas fritas, buena relación calidad-precio y buen gusto.

I ordered a couple of mixed doner wrap as it says on the receipt but I received a mixed donner with not salad, salsa ir anything just a piece of pittas bread with old cold pieces of meat. Completely disappointed. Please see pictures attached.

Booked for this Friday 25/10/19 told they are now closed. Always felt they were playing at it trying to run Harrogate as well . Can someone please open a restaurant in Ripon that is not Italian!

Food was ok but as they include fries in the wrap, there really isn't much meat in them. I'd expect more for the price they charge. Tasted nice and freshly cooked but their delivery driver was extremely rude and aggressive so I won't be ordering again. Overall, not worth the price or the experience we had!

Strict portion control is one thing but this is my fourth visit and so non friendly the staff examine their customers like insects in a glass jar. Completely unfriendly and non personable in my experience..

Had a take away from here and it was really disappointing It firstly said it would take 30 minutes to arrive but it was way over an hour. Ordered the platter starter and some of the specified items were missing The calamari was over cooked and not nice at all The Taramasalata was missing-probably still in the fish. The gyros looked half chewed and the meat to chips ratio was poor. The only good thing about it was the pita bread Gonna stick to home cooked Greek food from now on-its way better
