Pretty restaurant in the centre of Bournemouth Town. Big selection of food and deliciously-looking desserts. The service was pretty quick and the food portions were great, besides being accessible.

The decor is very cute: making you feel as though you are atop a hill in Santorini. Quick and easy service. The menu is huge and offers a great selection, especially for vegetarians. Unfortunately, the food was very plain but had huge portions, which is always appreciated.

I am a sucker when it comes to Greek food so definitely wanted to try this place out. We got a chicken gyros each and a side of chips - it was too much, the portions were massive. You won’t go hungry for the rest of the day! The chips were great, very crispy which is just how I like them. Marked down for the chicken gyros, I found it to be quite plain. Maybe the option to choose a sauce inside would be better as tzatziki can sometimes be underwhelming. Price was also good for the amount of food.

My husband and I popped in spontaneously whilst walking through town and had no idea what to expect. The whole place was very clean and tidy with friendly and welcoming staff with an extensive menu of various things from Mezes and Wraps to salad bowls and fries, so much to choose from. I decided to go for a Large Halloumi Wrap and my husband had the Mixed Meat Meze Box (2 x pork skewers, shaved chicken, lamb skewer, garlic sausage, fries, Greek salad with olives & feta, Tzatziki and pita) - the was so much that I ended up helping my husband finish the Meze Box, everything was cooked so well, the halloumi lovely and golden, all the meats in the Box were juicy, not dry at all which was amazing considering the mix, the pita breads so soft and fluffy… truly delicious and we’re so glad we decided to pay Taka Taka a visit! Only downside was the drinks machine not working.

had a regular halloumi kebab with chips (which come in the sandwich not separate). Really good flavour and good size for regular. Could have done with more sauce but eventually mnaged to persuade them to give us some more but otherwise delicious! Went here with 3 of my girlfriends after looking for late night restaurant and nothing else open taht looked half decent. Sat indoors as bit dodgy outside with club crowd walkign past

In my opinion, the best Greek restaurant on the South Coast. Friendly, family run, brilliant food.

we visited for drinks Saturday afternoon. We had to queue for 45 minutes to get in, meanwhile it seemed that the “security” had favourites that they let in in front of us. The security staff were rude and had no customer service skills whatever. Talking and laughing and ignoring the queue. We were told we had to wait as even though there was room for us the bar staff couldn’t keep up with the queue so they didn’t want to make it worse. Once inside it was another 30 mins in a queue to get drinks. I feel the place is a good idea but the security staff need to be trained in customer service, instead of using the job as a means to chat up bikini clad young women and to make themselves appear popular - very immature behaviour.
