This place is noisy and a bit crowded. The food is very average with the occasional good/great meal.Do not eat before you go there as you will probably order too much and have trouble eating it. The starters are the best part of the meal. They are fresh. The main is difficult to come by depending on what you order last time I ordered the kleftiko, I could not eat all of it due to the amount of fat which was quite sickening and also that I had eaten too much of the starters. The dessert is average and most are chilled and are given to you from the display when you walk in. Overall not too bad a restaurant.

Booked the blue olive for a joint birthday celebration. We booked it for a Tuesday night, the resturant was quiet and was shown to a table immediately. We ordered a Meze for 4 and the starters were faultless. They were fresh and plentiful. The fish was nice but the only fault was the lamb in the meat part of the Meze. It was very dry but the chicken and pork was delicous and so were the shefdalia. The staff were very friendly and helpful and would definately be back.

We had a lovely dinner at this unassuming restaurant on a side road. It was a Friday evening and most other places were packed: Vineyard had a couple of tables so we decided to stop and try their food. I had eaten here ages ago and for some reason I had an underwhelming memory, but this time the experience was great: our starters (calamari, stuffed vine leaves and meatballs) were all lovely, but the mains were the highlight: the lamb kleftiko was soft and tasty, and the Moussaka was incredibly good (among the best I've ever tasted, including in 15 years of trips to Greece). 53£/person with 2 cocktails, a large beer, baklava and French coffee with brandy, so also not expensive. Nice buzzing atmosphere (noisy in the right way), fast service and nice owner, clearly proud of the quality he offers.

After 30+ years of living in London I've finally had Greek gyros in a wrap that tasted authentic! To my surprise it is far superior to all the other 'Greek' gyros places in Wood Green area, and to be fair to all other places around London that make this sort of thing. I am definitely going back and I recommend this place 100%. Word of advice to Greeks who don't come from Thessaloniki: 'Souvlaki' in this shop is what is what Athenians call 'Kalamaki' so make sure you avoid unwanted surprises.
