The kebabs were as lovely as displayed. Would recommend this takeaway! Very friendly customer service too!

One small cheese and tomato pizza and a small kebab with no salad £15 distrustful complete rip off wast of time and money over an hours wait as well DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT...

We were frequent customers to this takeaway experiencing great service and food, however, the staff appear to have changed and so has the quality of the standards especially the food! The presentation, quality and experience all have greatly diminished. The meat quality is grisly in the pasta dishes, pizzas soggy and the kebabs have been totally deconstructed. Sadly we will no longer be using this service.

3rd time the order was totally wrong... fair enough they have sent the driver round to give me a full refund (not without an argument though) I won't be going back... not even as a collection as they took the very cold incorrect order away... are they going to warm it up and re-sell it???

I decided to try this place out but I won’t be going back. Not great. The meat didn’t taste great. It looked very uninspiring and unappetizing in the polystyrene box they served the food in. I had the lamb Shish / Kofte mixed kebab. It was served in a pitta inside the box and like I said looked neither appetizing or inspiring. I’ve added a photo - I’m sure they don’t portray their food like that on their website so why serve it like that.

I have been coming here to get delicious food for over 10 years. Always a high standard and the guys that work there are helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend the olive tree enough.

amazing, we always go here, average food, but for an amazing price and amazing portions, very quick delivery time- maybe that’s because we live quite close. overall, if you’re looking for a quick cheep meal, here is the place

brought couple of pizzas a kebab onion rings breaded mushrooms and coleslaw to share between 5 of us and a portion of chips was lovely

I do not know the people at this restaurant and have not visited the place.I leave this review based only on the lamb shish I have just eaten from them(other items were ordered). Please refer to the title of this review for reference. Imagine going to sleep on a pillow and dreaming that soft pillow turned in to a lamb shish which you happily chewed until you awoke with a sheepish smile, wondering how you were able to enjoy a wonderful solo half an hour last night. I would dial that number again in a heartbeat.

We used to highly rate the Olive tree but the last years orders have been incorrect and quailty inconsistent. The Margarita this week had a hot chilli sauce ! used on the base, not tomato sauce as ordered which was awful for my 6 year old grandson. After many years using this place we have decided not to order again. To add the delivery staff have always given a great and friendly service, a massive well done to them.

Received a flyer through the post and decided to give them a try, so glad we did. The quality of the food was exceptional, our delivery arrived in good time for a Saturday evening and all food was still hot. We ordered another delivery two weeks later, food and service was just as good. Highly recommended and will definately be ordering again.

This place is immaculate they offer the best sheesh chicken in town the staff are good and pride themselves on offering good quality food .

we order from here on a weekly basis , they are always so freah including the salad that comes with the kebabs excelant !!

Had to wait 1 hour 20min when called I was shouted at. So don't eat here never got my food but I heard latter on the food is crappy just like there attitude. 🖕🖕🖕

Have had a few takeaways from here, always something missing or wrong. Tonight have waited 1hour 20 min for delivery, when phoned to question how long it would be was told... it's on it's way and hung up!!!! Not great customer service!

Lovely food always but am always told different prices over the phone to when they turn up and want paying they add Delivery charge sometimes and other times they don't very expensive but quality food however the last time I ordered I was told 20 quid and they turned up and charge me 30 quid what the hell and they only take cash and maybe it would be good if someone that spoke English and could understand what we are saying very disappointed that I will never order from there again bad customer service

The best kebab shop that I have eaten food from in England. A refreshing change from certain greasy dives in Chelmsford town centre. A prompt takeaway service, clean environment and friendly staff to boot. I have recommended this place to quite a few people.

The food is always freshly cooked and is of excellent quality. You can get everything from kebabs to pizza, and they do delivery. Reasonable prices too. Give them a go. You won't regret it.

This is probably the cleanest and well run kebab shop in Chelmsford the place is immaculate and makes some of the best lamb and chicken shish in town , great takeaway and they offer delivery .

Won't even answer the phone well before closing time, clearly to lazy to make a delivery, appalling service. Not going here again

phoned up at 10.45 and asked for a delivery they couldnt do that so asked if they could take our order and we would collect the man on the phone said yes and was very polite but let me ask the chef the chef was shouting in the back ground and said no if they are open till 11 the chef should not refuse customers and shout when they are on the phone it does not take 15 mins to cook a pizza chips chicken dippers and potato wedges

Very clean and food always fresh and tasty. Burgers are gorgeous and kebabs always taste great. Chips are great and decent portion size.

We have been using the olive tree on forest drive for quite sometime now and have found the food to be consistently good. We often have shish kebabs with salad, its so fresh and tasty. The pizzas are delicious too!

We use this place very often it has great food hygiene and the place looks immaculate hence we wouldn't order anywhere else.The lamb and chicken are freshly cooked on the grill and the salads are fresh and crispy you cannot fault this place, we place many orders here from our offices and they offer a delivery service . All our staff and clients enjoy the quality of the food.10 out of 10

Chicken kebab was dry, pizza was stodgy and chips were greasy. Not good. Used to be best in Chelmsford but things have slipped unfortunately. Not sure we will bother again, put us right off!

Fantastic staff and lovely food :) go here regularly when I need some good food fast especially the donner kebab my favourite!
