Food was tasty but very overcooked. We had Cod and chips but it was well overcooked. The chips were very tasty as were the mushy peas.

Was treated to a Victorian tea which was lovely. Freshly made sandwiches, beautiful cakes and warm scones with fresh cream and jam. A lovely pot of tea or coffee and mmmm mmmmm lovely. And all for £7 per person. Well worth the money

Very nice comfortable café with a good menu for mid day lunch or just a snack. Nice place to meet friends as the staff do not hurry you and are very helpful.

I feel this cafe is more for older clients and visitors. Menu not over extensive but large enough for mid morning coffees which could turn into lunch.. Not over crowded for the masses and very presentable for a meeting or a first date.

The lady in charge is lovely nothing is too much trouble for her! I usually go in for lunch with my mum-in-law & as the portions are so big we usually share a baguette & chips, the chips are the best I've tasted outside the pub I used to own in Devon!!!!!

Part of Hind Hotel sharing their facilities. Food and drinks good and very much like small cafes/restaurants used to be years ago.

Was in Wellingborough today with my wife and we were looking for a place for lunch. There are quite a few places to eat in Wellingborough and we decided to try 'Oliver's Cafe'. Not the best choice I have made. The place is clean and tidy and the staff were quite friendly but for us that is where it ended. My wife had a Brie, Bacon and Damson Chutney 'Warm' Sandwich. The first problem was that they forgot the Brie! Also it wasn't a warm sandwich it was in toasted thin sliced white bread. My choice was a Marinated Beef, Cheese and Caramelised Onion Chutney in a Wrap. The beef was reheated to the point where it was dry and it wasn't that flavoursome. Under the wrap it was swimming in oil/grease (possibly from the cheese when they heated it all up). Both dishes were accompanied by salad that wasn't the freshest, crisps and a coleslaw that was very near it best before date. The staff did sort out my wife's sandwich and were apologetic but seriously they forgot the main ingredient! So the meal with a side of chips (which were ok) and two Mocha coffees came to approximately £15 which was ok but I wasn't at all impressed. Maybe we were just unlucky but I'm not will to risk another visit.

I visited the Wellingborough cafe for breakfast, as I often did. We arrived when it opened at 10 am and was told that we could not have bacon or sausage until 10.30 am. When asked why the assistant informed us that she would not offer anything with meat in it as she was vegitarian. I do not hold this against her as she is entitled to eat what she wants, but she should not have been serving in the cafe unless she could prepare anything on the menu. We left and went to M&S for better service, and to be honest the food was better.

We didn’t enjoy our steak. Never ate there again but nice place to stop for a quick pint… or two. 😂

The food is cooked very nice and the service is good. The staff made time to make sure you are happy with everything and I actually felt like I was in a restaurant and not your typical fast food outlet. When I'm visiting Wellingborough again or passing through, I will definitely stop there again. Many thanks to the staff Stuart morgan
