McDonald's in Wellingborough

Always understaffed, long waits, unfriendly staff.

DO NOT order for delivery, they just don't bother to deliver or arrive hours later. The last order I made turned up two hour and a half hours later, half of it was missing, and what did turn up was stone cold.

When you order from here, you either don't get what you ordered or they only send half. This had happened on multiple occasions and needs to be sorted

Awful McDonald's, the worst of the worst. The food is always cold, everytime I've ordered from here online or in store, there's always been at least 1 missing item and when I confront them about it in a polite way, it's somehow my fault. Will never be ordering from here again and will be recommending people stay away from this McDonald's if you don't want to get mugged off

It arrived stone cold, the 1 star was the McFlurrys were good. I know it’s Friday evening, I expected the time would be long but I wasn’t impressed when it come not even warm. To make matters worse we didn’t get one of our drinks we ordered…. Not ordering from hear again

How difficult can it be to read a receipt? Better yet how can people still not realise the bags half empty...Bbq mcrib without the sauce ? Takes the piss, drinks always missing to some extent. Shit needs sorting

Ordered a large twix latte and recieved a regular latte not a twix one. Waste of money.

Came in the morning through the drive thru. I did an app order and I was out by 5 minutes. Brilliant service by the staff keep up the good work.

What a terrible place, ordered on their app for home delivery, food arrived cold, missing burger and fries less than half full, I went to the restaurant to change the food, they refused as they said I needed to call uber eats even though I ordered on the McDonald's app, avoid this restraunt at all costs they are clearly undertrained and are underfilling their fries on purpose, if you don't believe me check other reviews.

Food very slow in arriving, the only way i did get it was because the table cleaning lady asked why we were still waiting. She 'Found' our food in the kitchen area dumped on a tray somewhere. Chips stone cold, Tea Luke warm and the kitchen staff did not care. Other people had been waiting longer than us! They seem to make a priority of delivery orders. Will not be using that restaurant ever again, this was my first and last time here.

If you like to be treated like a piece of meat go here, Manager shouts out your number then chucks your food on counter for you, walks off, “uh excuse me are you the manager” “yes” “do you not acknowledge your customers” “I called your number out and I’m busy” turns his back waves a hand gesture over his shoulder. Classy dude.

Good place to visit when travelling on the main road into Northampton or Wellingborough. I've not had a bad experience at this franchise yet compared to others in different locations.

Must do better! Every order is always missing something at this restaurant, this time was the bacon on the new limited edition double big Mac WITH BACON! Come on, really?

Dirty toilets, unfriendly staff

I ordered a smarties Mcflurry and got a melted ice cream with no topping. The next time I ordered fries. This is what I got there were stray fries in the bottom of the bag.... and they were COLD. I will never order from here again.

Dreadful. Brekkie. The pancakes for my son were like Frisbees. Hash browns solid. Wrap was vile. I'd cross the road to Tesco or take a drive to Wellingborough for the Hide Inn. Vile, vile. Vile.

excellent speed responding to my order in the drive-thru, my chicken mayo and fries came out piping hot and fresh which is PERFECT, parked in the parking lot and overall it was amazing in terms of taste, texture was good, you can clearly see how much effort they put into their products!! giving you a star!! good work..

I don't understand how can you miss items on small orders. People who work there are incopetent to double chceck what they are sending. Almost half of my order was missing and there were only 5 items!!! Do yourself a favour and if you buy here than do it in person. Deliveries are just anoyance to get a refund.

I don't like all the furniture being bolted to the floor. Being a big man, I need to pull chairs out or move tables to sit comfortably

Clean as all Mc Donald’s are plenty of room, plenty of parking though was busy with all the other shops around. Only had a cup of black tea, coffee and some chips. They got the tea wrong gave us two coffees so took it back and asked for a replacement and the money back for the difference in price. Also again no alternative milk so had to bring in my own. When are they going to catch up with the rest of the world 🤷‍♀️ Chips to salty.

Extremely rude staff member on the telephone when I called the store with regards to my order/delivery as it took over two hours to come. Her response…‘it’s not my problem’! When the order finally arrived (as we couldn’t cancel it) it was freezing cold. I think the management of the store needs addressing and all staff members need some training with regards to good/acceptable customer service.

I was spoken to with utter disrespect from the guy that took my order at Window 1 at 5pm on the 24/05. I am partially deaf and was literally told off with a disgusting attitude for driving straight to the window, which is recommended for those with hearing difficulties, no? He was very rude and eye rolled when I told him why.

Placed an order for delivery and the food arrived cold with an entire meal missing. I'm not sure how that happens considering there was a receipt stapled to the bag with a list of everything that we had ordered?

They constantly get the drive thru orders wrong, missing items, additions not given but charged for, wrong drinks etc. The money I've spent to not get what I wanted, is really irritating. On the odd occasion the service is lovely and the order is correct. But more often than not the chips are really cold, and your order won't be what you asked for.

Ordered on the McDonald's app for delivery. They then took two payments, then my order was cancelled. When I rang they won't do the order for a pickup as it's not there "policy" even though money had been withdrawn from my account and can be proven and they cant refund me, the two payments totaled just short of £40! When I rang them they passed me through to someone else who then passed me through to another person who then brought be back to ringing the store as non of them could help. They all put blame on one another and neither one could take responsibility. One person said it can take 15 days for refund! Absolute disgusting service so nearly £40 down for up to 15 days and no food. DISGUSTING!

Couldn't supply milkshakes,ended up with coke! Then had to wait 5 minutes for food to arrive, drove for 2 minutes home only for the food to be cold. Why was it cold ?

Went through drive thru at 11:30 on 27/03/24. Penfold took my order after telling me to "hang on a sec" through the intercom, no hello, please or thank you etc. Shocking customer service. Then after collecting my food I asked for one measly dip and they bespectacled young lady had the audacity to ask for 10p for it?! This is literally the only McDonalds I've ever been charged for a sauce. My cheeseburger patties looked like a couple of strips of old leather just slapped into a bun. I know this restaurant isnt exactly Haute cuisine but surley you can get the basics right? Left an overall bad taste in the mouth both physically and metaphorically

ordered food to be delivered and it couldn’t have gone more wrong! all burgers were wrong, 1 drink was wrong while the other was right but only half full, none of the added extras were included (which i paid extra for!), and to top it off the food was stone cold and took over an hour to be delivered! Extremely disappointed!

McDonald's has always offered plenty of options for a variety of customers, so times you get a very pleasant enthusiastic server that gives it that extra welcome, however sometimes you get someone who doesn't want to be there and you feel there is no atmosphere or customer service. As for the food it used to be good for the money now it seems a bit expensive for what it is. Still an easy place to grab a quick bite but somehow doesn't have the same appeal it once had.

I went through the drive through asked for a caramel frappe that I then went to the next window to pay for whent to collect my drink and they said that dont have it after i payed and gave me water as replasment

Staff this afternoon 10th feb serving inside was extremely helpful, fantastic customer service delivered to our table by 2 very friendly ladies who went above and beyond, l just wanted to show my gratitude to them, so thank you!

Hot chocolate was horrible I have had a few now and they usually taste nice this was disgusting. when I went to the till to ask for another, the staff member didn't get what I was saying then went to speak to a manager and he was rather rude because I was asking for a fresh drink I heard someone else shout 'Don't argue the customer is always right even when not' eventually they did give me another chocolate drink which tasted lovely but was stone cold, but didn't complain this time. The burgers were okay not warm and chips were limp and flavorless. All in all would not use this McDonald's again

Table service. Quick turn around and food was great

Usually good. But my hash brown had a bitter taste and was very salty. Could not eat it. Should of complained. Rest of food was great. Perhaps the oil needs changing. Bit of a let down.

Had a very nice veggie quarter pounder meal. Used the electronic order board for the first time and a member of staff helped me to do this. Served quickly and the meal was warm. Plenty of condiments available. Clean tables. Would return

Slow service, food wasn't great even for macdonalds. The burger which o waited ages for wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese.

It's crazy how slow and terrible McDonald's service has become now, i don't think it's all down to the staff, the way McDonald's runs the kitchen now is shambles! It's literally ment to be fast food, not wait 13 minutes for a double cheeseburger! Bring back the old production line!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Every time we order online (JustEat or Uber) they miss something off the order. Today was my wife's chicken Big Mac and Caramel Pie. Called the restaurant and was told that there was nothing they could do and I should "find another means to feed your wife". Absolutely appalling service, will NEVER order from here again. Place desperately needs new staff and management.

We just came back home from Mcdonald and instead of Cheese bites we get only ketchup. We have ordered 2 burger meals and Cheese bites which cost over 6£ ! We live too far to drive back and they are not printing receipts so how we would prove it anyway !!! Always check your order before leave because it is not first time when they are not adding something. Stuff is shouting singing and looks like completely not payng attention what they are doing. Crispy chicken burger chicken was also burned ! Really bad experience !!!!

I've visited twice now through drive through and both times they've forgotten the apple pie. It's really not rocket science.

Probably the most disorganized McDonald's I have been to. I have never seen so much food just sitting getting cold. Something wrong with the order display screen meant no-one knew if their food was ready or not. No serviettes and no soap in toilets . Won't be going back to this branch.

Always consistent. Very busy but got my food within 10 minutes. People with larger orders were also getting their orders promptly. This was a busy Sunday afternoon but the service was first class

Gets every single delivery order wrong, last three orders missing a burger/mcmuffin every time and no way to reach out to get it sorted as McDonald's don't care and Uber just deliver what they've given. Will never use again.

Nothing special but nothing atrocious. Tables are always clean and food is always hot.

Quick service, tidy, nice staff

Food and service were as you would expect from Mcdonalds. I was shocked to see how inflated their pricing has become, making it a not-so-cheap quick option when you are stuck for something toeat.

I ordered though their app with a monopoly discount code (usually do justeat) and I had missing items up to £10, I tried calling the restaurant but the advice was if you can't fix it on the app just deal with it, will not be ordering from this mcdonalds even again 😒

I come here a lot for takeaway and they relatively regularly stuff part of my order. I now do a quick check that I have atleast got the correct number of meals before leaving. Last night I opened my double quarter pounder box only to find a quarter pounder. It’s really not that difficult guys!

Staff was not helpful when they get my order wrong

Ordered tonight at 18:00 and the food didn’t arrive until two hours later via Deliveroo. When the order finally arrived it was incorrect, and the fries were a lot more greasy than normal and the changes we had made to menu items were not carried out, even though we had paid extra. Items were also missing and substituted incorrectly, for example the two milkshakes we ordered arrived as two flat cokes. Bad service and Bad food for Increased Prices.

It's a very handy mcdonalds but question why it's more expensive than the one on Wilby way roundabout

Sadly this is the closest Maccers from where I live and we've ordered from here multiple times, the amount of orders that have been wrong or I've been made to wait excessive times has led me to leave this review. If you're passing by and want McDonalds, go to the next one.

Staff here are useless and really struggle with the concept of putting food into a bag, there’s always food missing - avoid at all cost.

Undercooked chips as usual for here but otherwise it's just like any other McDonald's. Kids love it so that's all that really matters.

The order was placed on Kiosk system and food was brought to the table so no waiting around in line. The food was good and the place was very clean and organised. Welcoming for all the family. I would recommend this place

Easy to get to plenty of parking, restaurant was clean and tidy and wet floors signs institute in the toilets food was hot on arrival to the table
