I recently visited tubo and had an amazing experience, thanks to Hamza! He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we were always comfortable. His knowledge about the different shisha flavors was impressive, and he even recommended a mix that turned out to be my new favorite. The service was prompt, and Hamza’s warm personality really enhanced the overall vibe of the lounge. Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend asking for Hamza if you want the best experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Came this evening as I saw the 2 for 1 offer on social media and it was a pleasant experience overall. A young waiter I believe named Hamza served us, he was very attentive, funny and checked up on us periodically to make sure everything we ordered was fine, which was nice to experience. We ordered two shishas and had a couple drinks, can’t fault the experience at all the shisha was good and we had a good time overall. Will definitely be coming back again.

Don’t usually write reviews but felt like I had to in this case. I came to Leicester a couple of nights ago to visit some friends on a casual day out, they recommended Tubo and I was extremely excited to go as their recommendations had never let me down before. Initial impressions: decent decor and good ambience. It wasn’t very busy, which I like (I would soon come to find out why it was so quiet). Young lady approached us and asked if we would like to order anything to start. I decided to order the “Passion Lover”. After a few minutes the waitress came back and asked me to confirm, that’s fine, you can mishear and I’d rather get a confirmation than get the wrong drink. The drink came around 20 minutes later, during which time no one had asked us if we wanted anything else, or if we were ready for shisha which we had been for the 15 minutes prior. The drink was awful, there wasn’t a hint of passionfruit and it tasted like it was watered down completely. I sent it back and asked to have it remade to which I heard a member of staff say “he’ll just get the same thing and be fine with it”. I decided not to bring this up, I didn’t feel like ruining what had been an overall decent day in Leicester. Another 10 minutes later we were finally asked about shisha. A young man pressured us into getting their “higher end” shisha, and we relented and ordered 2 pipes. I asked about my drink and he said he’ll go and check. About 15 minutes later we finally have our shisha (still no Passion Lover to be seen). The shisha was extremely poor, firstly the person holding the coals was extremely clumsy, again I can forgive a mistake but not at the cost of potentially burning my clothes, and the shisha hadn’t been set up correctly, meaning my friends and I spent the best part of 5 minutes trying to get it start smoking. For about 10 minutes the shisha was pleasant. After that there was no flavour left. We also waited ages for somebody to come round and take a look, maybe it was a coal issue? But we’d never know as we decided to leave. I still hadn’t gotten my drink, and upon going to pay, and stating I had sent it back, I was still made to pay for the drink…not sure why? I’m quite non confrontational so decided to pay for it anyway after a back and forth with an uninterested waitress. For anyone looking to come here, I’d probably decide against it, the service was clearly below par, as was the shisha which is the main point of a lounge. Not to mention staff making snide remarks about their low quality service and laughing it off. Professionalism and courtesy are free.

Came to tubo today, was served and seated by an attentive young lady named Aaliyah. She ensured my food order was correct, guiding me to choosing the best and was friendly. She took care of us, made sure our experience was pleasant. Would highly reccomend this shisha cafe and the service that came along with it.

been sat here for 20 minutes waiting for a milkshake terrible service from staff and when talking i couldn’t even hear her she had to repeat her self several time because i didn’t hear her.

Left feeling hungry, unsatisfied and angry!! Wanted to leave 5 minutes after getting our shisha. Tried to order 5 different side dishes ON the menu but got told we’re not allowed too or they didn’t have anything. But, nuts and popcorn would be a good alternative to dynamite chicken and peri peri chips? Tried to then order from chilli flames but apparently that’s only available after 11pm? I asked if Im allowed to get the chilli flames food myself and just eat it in Tubo too but that’s forbidden. The shisha was nasty and just tasted like burnt coal. Nikki was polite to begin with but became very rude and sour after I said I wasn’t happy with my experience. She became obnoxious and abrupt when I said I’m only happy to pay for the drinks which was the not made by Tubo. The card machine was practically waved in our faces when we were paying by cash. Something needs to be done about this apparent “luxury Shisha cafe” ASAP because it really isn’t what it makes out to be. More of a dump! Because if the atmosphere, staff, food and shisha is all just rubbish, there’s no point in being open.

Shoutout to Humza, he really served us really well for my Birthday celebration. From checking up on us, to helping us carry our stuff to the Uber. He didn’t need to go the extra mile but he really did so again shoutout to Humza.

We had initially come here for desert however saw this place does shisha and thought to give it a try. I have to admit it was one of the smoothest shisha places I have come across. The servers are really friendly and were able to take my order quickly the only downside was we were seated next to the bathroom where people were constantly coming in and out. Also where we had paid for the bill and on our way to exit we were stopped by a member of staff who said we had not paid. This really knocked off the experience we had as I was going to leave this place. With a 5 star review.

It was alright giving it was a winter’s night. Ask questions about the starter portions, they can fill you right up. The garnishing didn’t get all the way into the lamb chops but it was well done like we requested and the fish meal was great. Great atmosphere too and secluded

Waiting staff is completely rude and unprofessional! We went there during the week, therefore the place was quite empty, only 4-5 tables were occupied. We moved to another table before they took the order and the waitress came at us and ask us why did we move, like the cafe wasn’t empty…We had to wait a lot for the drinks, without an excuse from the waitress who had a really bad attitude from the beginning. Overall not recommending the place for shisha or anything else.

My experience at TUBO was regretfully tarnished by the staff’s inflexibility and dismissiveness. Our attempt to enjoy a quiet meal together was disrupted by unnecessarily strict seating rules, even when the cafe was empty. The staff, including the manager, showed little interest in accommodating our needs or offering alternatives, making the entire visit uncomfortable. Such lack of customer care and hospitality is not what one expects from a reputed establishment.

Left TUBO feeling unwelcome and disappointed. The staff's inability to accommodate a simple seating request for our group, coupled with their dismissive demeanor, significantly diminished our overall experience. Such unwelcoming service is a disservice to the establishment's ambiance.

We’ve been here twice and both experiences were extremely poor. In our latest visit on the Friday just before Christmas, we arrived at 8:45pm and the place was not very busy, definitely more than half the tables were not occupied. It was 8 of us and they sat us on a very small table. We asked for a bigger table, they said none were available because everything else was fully booked!! At 9:00 pm with more than half the place empty!! After a lot of discussion, they sat us on two adjacent tables, refusing to join them. I personally ordered a drink which was very average. The way the staff handled this was not very nice. The manager was particularly rude and wouldn’t even speak to us initially. Everyone was so hostile, we almost forgot we were paying customers. We’re certainly not coming back here and wouldn’t recommend this humiliation to anyone.

Very disappointed and angry with the service, the plate was thrown in my face and the girl did not even say anything. Cold food and the coal was getting changed once every hour. The girl that served us in the beginning was lovely tho.

My friends and I visited to have some dinner, the waitress was incredibly hostile and she kept changing the price of items on the menu. We felt incredibly unwelcome and ended up leaving. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Very bad costumer service, vip lounge no ac spent over 500 pounds

My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of a disaster. Firstly, the absence of air conditioning in the scorching heat was utterly unbearable. It's astounding that a restaurant would not prioritize basic comfort for its patrons. But what truly pushed this experience into a nightmare was the abhorrent customer service. Not only were the staff unhelpful, but they also used profanity and derogatory language, demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism. In all my years of dining out, I've never encountered such a disgraceful establishment. Avoid this place at all costs – the combination of sweltering conditions and offensive service makes it an utterly unpleasant dining destination.

Spent over 350 and booked VIP just to get the worst experience in the whole building, no sign of AC tuned on even though we repeatedly requested staff to turn it on, no sight of TV to watch the boxing match also a lot of the food was missing and they couldn’t even maintain our request of bringing the drinks with the food. Would never recommend this place again, COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY RUINED MY FRIENDS BIRTHDAY PARTY.

My visit to Tubo Shisha Lounge left much to be desired. The service was chaotic, with food arriving at different times, causing confusion. When we expressed our concerns to a person who claimed to be a manager, they deflected blame onto us, citing their busyness as an excuse. It was a disappointing experience overall

Called to book in for a reservation, was told it’s only walk in. Arrived with the party, was placed in the so called ‘VIP ROOM’. No air conditioning, no tv and service was slow and some of the food never arrived. Bought to staff’s attention, and they blamed the restaurant’s ‘busy’ schedule. Having spent over 200 pound on food only, and over 50 quid just to be seated, this has been a worrying experience.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff was shockingly disrespectful, showing a complete lack of courtesy and professionalism. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that customer service was not a priority for them. They were rude, dismissive, and seemed annoyed by our presence. The food, which took forever to arrive, was subpar at best. It's clear that this establishment has no respect for its customers, and I would strongly advise against dining here.

Absolutely rubbish customer service, food was meady, VIP lounge but no AC, spent over £300 to get an absolute rubbish experience. NEVER AGAIN.

Really needs to work on staff management

This is the third time we've been to the lounge and all I can say is that this lounge is in a league of it's own. The lads and I smoke shisha regularly and travel alot for good shisha, we know our shisha well. Tubo lounge has an amazing vibe, ambience and decor and the shisha is wicked. Will definitely drive down from Birmingham for this shisha again.

Terrible service, waiting staff is rude. Tables are empty and prices are not worth the service. The location is terrible parking is hard to find and is located in a warehouse.

The Worst drink what I ever have... please manager if you Reading this one tell to your cleaner to clean better. upstairs bar is dirty and rubbish on the floor and seats asswel first and last time I went there no more the tables was all greasses.

Exceptional service from the lady with short hair, very friendly! Shisha service was the best, coal was replaced many times and the staff were nice and polite. The bao buns were a bit bland but sweet and sour chicken was delicious, pina colada was yummy! 😋 The place was beautiful, with nice views. Has a great time!! Thank you.

You know when you find a place that looks amazing and the food is even better but the service really lets is down THIS IS THAT PLACE. I have to say the food was 10/10 no issues whatsoever i ordered chicken bites for starter which were perfection. For mains i opted for lamb chops they are best lamb chops in Leicester. Now the downfall was service. I asked why my starter came with a side that i ordered with the main. I was told we assumed you wanted it with your starter, I then proceeded to say sorry i did not want a side with my starter to which she stated mains were on there way I had not even started on my appetiser. The attitude was appalling, my main concern was you have music playing which i have no issues with but you cannot have different music where staff are making shisha lol i felt the place was having and identity crisis. Whilst I was eating i thought it was one of those back of the bus kids playing music through his phone smoking shisha. I then realised the other music was coming from staff area which was really annoying. Overall this is one of those places that you do not want to go back but you have no choice as there food is so good.

Update: I have returned after my last visit long ago, for my friends birthday evening out, ive gone from hating my previous experience to loving it, service was great & shisha was quality, i am fair and after giving it another chance after almost a year of avoiding, i thought why not try again & i was pleasantly surprised. Will be back. Updated to 4 stars. Absolutely hated it here. Seems to be a trend with a lot of these types of shisha lounges, looks amazing & so much hype, but in the end abysmal service. Would rate it 0 stars if possible. Experienced the worst customer service here today, one of the first few to come In. Told by the person taking our shisha and drink order the kitchen is closed and will let us know when the kitchen is back open. An hour later we are seeing people being served food, and drinks and no one came to us within this time for me to even ask is the kitchen open and can we order. Came to the front of the bar to pay because we’re already unhappy with the service, explained it to a young lady and she said ‘yeah thats fine’, my wife pointed out that an apology would have been at least some sort of basic customer service. I will never return here nor will I recommend this place to anyone. Spoke to a manager & he wasnt bothered either… no point in wasting my time anymore & i hope evrryone reading this go there with caution.

Came here thinking that I would be able to get served for the waiter to say that they close at 1am bearing in mind on Instagram it says they are open until 2:30 everyday. We had come the day before at 1am where the same waiter told us they were closed earlier than advertised because it was the weekend even though it was a Monday. I told him that he needs to speak to whoever is in charge of their Instagram because it is very misleading and he said yes that they should have put that it closes at 2:30am on Thursdays to Sundays. He also said that the same thing has happened to a few other people which is a cause for concern on why this has not been amended. I thought this was incredibly unprofessional especially as we had came the day before for the same thing to end up happening, the waiter even said “did you not come yesterday”. We have now wasted money twice on Uber’s on wasted journey’s due to this company’s incompetence and feel that they should have been able to make an exception for us considering he knew we had tried to come yesterday and that this was an error on their side not us. We had come here before last year and had no problems which makes this even more disappointing but now after these two occasions I would never come back here.

Amazing shisha with a very hospitable environment. The staff especially manager “hamza” was really attentive. He offered a wife variety of flavours and the smoke was exactly what i asked for. You need to try the watermelon fizz and if you are a sweet tooth try the sebastian cheesecake. Thank you so much Hamza for looking after us. I will be back on the weekend!! Looks ok, not badly designed. Cold place as only have a few heaters. Didn't eat there so review is based in shisha, from what I could see the food visually looked nice but we only went for shisha. Shisha didn't smoke, could hardly taste the flavour. Had to ask several times for coals to be changed. Also overpriced, over £32 for a poor shisha, a water, coke and sprite. We told them twice almost straight away that the shisha wasn't tasting and smoking as it should and they didn't really care. Smoked shisha for many years and would not recommend it, even the pipes are cheap plastic corrugated pipes. Poor quality shisha and if they resolved or even offered to remake it would have been happy but the coal guy smoked it and said it was fine like we would waste our time and effort even mentioning it if it was fine. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I will not return and definitely wouldn't recommend for the shisha.

There are a lot of shisha cafes in leicester but Tubo is definitely the best one out there. The service is amazing and even on a busy night, they will ensure that you get amazing service from all the staff. Also the cafe itself is beautiful inside and the vibe is exactly what you would expect from a high end shisha cafe. One of the best places in leicester for a night out with friends or family with a variety of foods, desserts and shisha flavors, you will be spoilt for choice. In terms of pricing, i think it’s very reasonable in comparison with other cafes and be rest assured that you will get the service and quality you are paying for and expecting. I would recommend getting the Love 66 and Mint shisha as it’s one of the classics and never fails to impress. For desserts the chocolate tart and the sticky toffee pudding are among my favorites. I would really recommend anyone visiting leicester to keep a night free to go to Tubo as it’s an experience that you’ll never forget! A special mention to Hamza who’s always very accommodating and a great person to have a chat with.

Had a great time at Tubo lounge. Visited on a Monday evening for food and shisha- the atmosphere was calm and ambience was lovely. Was greeted and served by Hamaza who was very welcoming and friendly. We like trying new foods and flavours so our whole evening was based on recommendations from staff members, from shisha, dinner to desserts! The reason Tubo is rated 5 star in my opinion is because all recommendations were delicious and enjoyable. This shows staff members are attentive and take care in understanding their customers and their needs. The new cheesecake on the menu is DIVINE!!!!!! Please try it! If you’re visiting leicester and looking for a good food that isn’t just a burger and good quality shisha. I’d highly recommend this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s a nice restaurant relatively new. Has good ambience and is very well staffed. The staff are very polite and helpful. The interiors are nice. The food however is ordinary and not upto the mark. On the plus side They have a good collection of Sheeshas and ample parking.

The place is so clean and fancy the best in Leicester to be honest the service was excellent they have nice and friendly staff the shisha was amazing we had ( double apple) also the food was great .

Went to Tubo for a meal and shisha after long time, I can't thank them enough for the experience we had. Especially the manager, Hamza. He went the extra mile to provide a great service and to ensure we had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. The food and the dessert were out of this world. The smoke was absolutely fantastic. Thank you to Hamza and the team at Tubo.

Would give 5 stars but the manager Hamza being quite moody and rude removed that last stars. Defo need a new manager. But apart from him staff are lovely.

Travelled to Tubo for the first time yesterday after seeing them on instagram and had a delightful experience! Highly recommended the blueberry splash mocktail alongside your smoke. That was recommended by Laila from the bar. During out evening we were looked after by Nikki and Zidan and the service provided by them was impeccable. Definitely a new favourite spot and both me and my partner recommend to everyone!

I am disgraced. The hospitality I received today was absolutely awful, first of all the customer service was ridiculous, the female that served me spoke to me with disgusting attitude. The prices have rocketed and aren’t up to the standards they should be. It was that bad we contemplated going to doen lounge as they treat their customers with the upmost of respect. I am never coming here again.

Mocktails are good as they are various types and suit to what your in the mood for. Desserts and food are great too alongside the shisha right after to chill out and enjoy the atmosphere. It can get busy which is good but I tend to like quite Times to enjoy the shisha and seating options.

A lovely place to go whether it’s with friends, family or a couple date. Recommend this place to all my family and friends if they are in Leicester. Best smoke in town and I have been to many shisha cafes all over the UK. Tubo have a very unique design and layout and very different to the rest. It has a great relaxed atmosphere. Haven’t tried much of the food but it looks and smells so good. Dessert however is incredible, my personal favourite is the chocolate tart. Service is always on point and the staff are very friendly and attentive. There is a good amount of parking space too. A must try, would definitely recommend and will continue being a regular here!

Nice place plenty of parking. Lamb chops were tender and tasty wouldn’t call the dish a “lamb rack” as it wasn’t a rack they were individual chops. Only cons were some staff were not communicating properly; mumbling and their manner. I appreciate that many of them were young but front of house customer service should be better than that especially as the place isn’t particularly cheap. Otherwise the shisha was excellent and would return for that alone.

Sheesha was lovely, just slightly annoyed it took ever so long for a coal change. A bit more communication would be ideal within the staff as every 5/10 minutes we would ask if we would like drinks when we had already ordered. Food was amazing, fresh and service by the ladies was brilliant especially a lady called Chenade. Keep it up. Thankyou.
