Lovely family owned business. Food was excellent, the man who served us was considerate and thoughtful. The t-bone was on par with any top end steakhouse at a fraction of the price, the pork souvlaki was tender and full of flavor and the selection of dips was a perfect way to start things off. We will definitely be coming back soon! Thank you for your great service to the local Wimbledon community, and delicious food!

I had the pleasure of dining at THE REAL GREEK yesterday, and Christian, our waiter, truly elevated the entire experience. From the moment we were seated, his warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for a wonderful evening. Christian was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that our glasses were never empty and that all our needs were met promptly. He had excellent knowledge of the menu and offered thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be absolutely delicious. What stood out most was his genuine passion for providing excellent service—he made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. The small personal touches and his cheerful attitude made our visit unforgettable. Thank you, Christian, for a fantastic dining experience. We’ll definitely be back, and I hope to be served by you again!

This restaurant has all the things I normally love: a great atmosphere, a simple menu, incredibly friendly and warm service and good prices. Unfortunately the food wasn’t good. Some dishes were okay like the halloumi, the beetroot salad and the pork souvlaki. But other dishes were bad (the moussaka in particular was very dry and unpleasant). It also didn’t feel very authentically Greek. For instance it’s now so easy to get delicious authentic Greek pita in London, so I don’t know why they served the dry and chewy anglicised version. Overall this just wasn’t very good Greek food. However as I said before the team were so friendly and the restaurant was absolutely packed making for a cosy and delightful atmosphere.

Make sure you try the hummus, really delicious. The downstairs has a classic deli setup with a nice, community feel, and a couple tables on the street that have great people watching value. The upstairs has additional seating and also good people watching. If you get the falafel, don't miss out on the olive tapenade! 😍

I have visited twice since the refurbishment and have been so disappointed both times .The first time when the starters were delivered the sausage roll was ridiculously small and certainly not worth 6.50 .Today I visited for lunch and had soup .It was utterly surreal when the soup came out it resembled a packet soup mix from the supermarket as it was so watery !!We are locals and frequent the pub fairly often please sort this new menu out it's not good !!

Ordered a delivery through UberEats. We only received one part of the order. As the delivery driver was only given part of the order from the restaurant. Then we were told by Olive Garden that they couldn’t deliver the remaining order. So after driving to pick it up the food was not up to their normal standard. Really not happy!! The carbonara was very watery and didn’t taste as good as normal. It was also cold. Olive garden blamed uber eats but they could only deliver what they had been given which was only half the order. And all the olive garden could say for their bad service was sorry. This is so disappointing!!

Vera was an absolute star. Attentive, sweet and professional. Hire more Vera's (or clone her) and we'll definitely be back.

What a great restaurant, fabulous food in understated surroundings. Lovely people. The spit roasted meats are just wonderful.We will be back.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat as I was passing! Staff were welcoming and polite, ordered food which was onion rings and southern fried chicken topped chips and it was all bloody lovely and came out piping hot ! Restaurant area was nice and clean and had a nice atmosphere despite being quiet. This pub and restaurant really needs trying and I will definitely be going back to try more main meals off the menu! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me 🙂
