We live locally in Southfields and love having somewhere like Olive Garden so close. Was great to see the place full and buzzy on a Tuesday night! Food was lovely and good atmosphere. Thanks to Vera for looking after us!

Update : Never disappoints! Pizzas, pastas, desserts, starters - all that we have been trying is home made and great quality! While other restaurants increase prices and decrease quality, this one is keeping its standard. We've been ordering from here for more than 5 years already and the food continues to be as great as before. Best lasagne I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, very tasty We definitely recommend this place, dine in or delivery 5 stars :')

Excellent for the little people

Not great, had minestrone soup, but turned out to be a watery mess with no pasta at all. Was more like a terrible vegetable soup. And was expensive at nearly £9. Pizza was not too bad, but again expensive for what you were getting. Ordered Tiramisu which was frozen in the middle. No one ever asked us if our food was alright? I would avoid, expensive for nothing. Olive in Raynes Park in a nearby town is far better! I would not recommend. Gave two stars, as at least the restaurant was very clean including the toilets. Has Indian chefs rather than authentic Italian. Not sure if this is why the food was not so good?

We had dinner on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was about half full. Service was responsive and quick. We left however, quite confused as the food was bland and of poor quality and we had expectations of fresh authentic food from other reviews. We had the lasagne and risotto pescatora. The lasagne had the taste and texture of a ready meal. Whilst it came out piping hot, it was mushy and overly salty whilst lacking flavour. The risotto did not have the bite that it should and was also lacking flavour. The seafood must've been cooked from frozen (some pieces were cold) and the tomato rice barely tasted of tomato. Both meals came out very fast which on some occasions is positive however risotto is not a quick meal when made correctly. We would not recommend.

Was able to walk in without a reservation even though thennight before Wimbledon started and England just finished playing on TV. Service was attentive and friendly, food was lovely, and wine was good. Rather than move on we stayed for more drinks. Personally I loved the UFO pizza, or was it calzone.

Cenamos en el Jardín de los Olivos con familia extensa un domingo triste de febrero. Éramos una fiesta de 10 incluyendo un montón de niños excitables, pero el personal nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos y cómodos. Pedimos pizzas, ensaladas y varios entrantes. Todo llegó rápido y la comida era deliciosa. Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaría.

My wife and I came from the USA to visit Wimbledon. Stumbled across this fantastic Italian restaurant in the nearby village. Had a great meal dining al fresco. All fresh ingredients. Very friendly staff. Absolutely NO affiliation or resemblance to the US Olive Garden chain.

Very disappointing average meal this evening. The simple starters were ok. I chose salmon salad with green beans & roast peppers for main course….. very unsatisfactory, the beans were over cooked & watery & the roast peppers were out of a jar, the salad was not dressed or seasoned, no imagination whatsoever! Nice wine though!

The Olive Garden is our favourite local restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They were able to accommodate us last night even though we didn’t have a booking. Half an hour later the restaurant was full. As a local Southfields resident and customer this makes me extremely happy to see the place busy and thriving on a Friday evening. The food is delicious and fresh. They cater extremely well for children and babies. We’ll be back soon!

Family focused pasta and pizza restaurant. Buzzy atmosphere and ideal spot to bring kids. Friendly and efficient staff with simple, basic but quality menu. First visit today and would return.

Definitely recommend Quattro Formaggi and Pecan Pie. Pizza ingredients were fresh and dough was crispy. Dessert was fresh too and great combo with ice-cream. Service is fast and great place for lunch.

We've eaten at the Olive Garden several times as family live nearby. The food is fresh and tasty. Particularly enjoyed the spaghetti marinara, lots of seafood. Service is good and friendly. Only downside is that it's very noisy and cross table conversation can be a bit tricky.

Amazing service at a large family 80th birthday party. We had 26 people at a Saturday lunch and the service and food were both flawless. Staff were charming and. Iykfht have been more helpful. Risotto with pumpkin and pancetta was in the specials list and was delicious. Lasagna, whitebait and seafood risotto all got glowing reviews. Pizzas came out quickly got the children and got the thumbs up. Fabulous local neighbourhood Italian. We will be back!

Entered as a walk in on a Friday around 2100 but staff were still happy to serve. Spaghetti carbonara was delicious and very fast service (reasonable price at £11). Moretti on tap too. Very nice staff and feels authentic inside.

Great and informal local Italian , consistently friendly and efficient service - very good if you want to eat with young children. Pizzas and pasta seem to be the staples you see coming out of the kitchen but more substantial classic Italian mains too. Warm fun atmosphere. The area ( Southfields / Wimbledon Park) is hugely popular with young families and always packed. Very reasonable prices for both food and wine. When dining in some stiff pricy place in the west end watching my money vanish I often wish I was here.

I just left the restaurant with 4 colleagues. We all know the food is good, they have the best Calzone I have had in England. The service today was appalling. The lady who received us was monosyllabic at first. We asked if we could stay outside and she answered it was closed. We sat at a table, 3 minutes after she brought the menus(3 for a table of 5) she came to inform us with the worst attitude and gestures that she couldn’t split our bill. We agreed to pay one and then split it ourselves and she left. After we decided what to drink and eat, as she was passing our table, I asked if we could order, she answered yep, turned around and left. Not a “yes, give me a second” or a “yes, I’ll be with you in a few minutes”. We all got up and left as we were already bothered by her attitude. The restaurant has only been open for 30 minutes. This young lady shouldn’t be allowed around clients until she gets further training on customer service.

I caught up with a friend I haven’t seen for over 10 years & Southfields was a mid way point for both of us. Whether the sunshine helped my mood I am not sure but the meet & greet, service & food were all excellent. We had a shady table outside & we were left alone to catch up while having attentive service. My friend had the chicken & I had the cod mains from the daily special menu and we both enjoyed. I have eaten much worse for much more so I thought they deserved a review. Absolutely worth tracking down if you are in the area.

Food was yummy and service was so fast! Not to mention the servers are very friendly and kind. Only thing is the place was quite hot last time I went and I would love it if they could provide some lactose free, vegan options of pizzas for people who can’t have regular cheese like me :)

We went to the restaurant twice during our stay. The food & service was good. The carrot cake was delicious. The strawberry kiss cocktail was excellent. The mushroom risotto left a little to be desired, but the pizza was good.

There were no Olives in their garden only Roses and Pears and Oranges and Lines, and Passionfruits and Quay-wees, and only two strawberries. Well one now, I ate one on my way home to Florida. Be careful Rory might have the other one.

Friendly waiters and fresh ingredients. It is not a must visit place but the food is very good and you can have a good time with your family and friends thanks to the relaxed atmosphere and the kindness of the staff.

The food was not good unfortunately, I ordered a prawn risotto and it was actually the worst risotto I’ve ever eaten it was soggy with no flavour at all. Such a shame as I’ve been a few years ago and had good experiences. Probably won’t return anytime soon

Pasta not great. I've had better tasting pastas from marks and Spencer's that tasted better. Salmon does not seem fresh at all, most likely frozen.

Great atmaphore big thank you for dealing with families and kids very child friendly going an extra mile every time we visit and I know its not easy to deal with noisy kids. All Southfields family's are greatfull for accomodating us during the busy weekends we appriecatte a lot

A very disappointing meal of penne carbonara. Tasted like it was a store bought microwave meal. Not what you expect from an Italian restaurant. When we expressed our disappointment to the manager, she explained she wouldn’t order that at the restaurant as it’s not very good but next time she will share with us what she orders! We won’t be going back!

I have had lots of nights out this Christmas in various restaurants and almost all have been disappointing in one way or another, whether quality of food, staff etc... Joy of joys..last night was perfect. 5 of us. Food was great. Staff lovely. Restaurant pretty and pleasant to be in. phew.

Didn’t like the food at all ! Kids Pasta was undercooked, my daughter wouldn’t eat the carbonara ( she loves carbonara) . We got her margarita pizza , really bad taste we both didn’t like it . We ordered calamari and halloumi fries , halloumi was Ok , not the calamari . Really disappointed , would go back . The ladies who work there were very friendly and welcoming, but food needs a huge improvement . Also tables are small and very close to each other hence not enough space .

My wife and I took 2 friends out to dinner at this restaurant. where we are regular customers. We had delicious meals, with pasta and risotto mains. The seafood options were especially good, and we had 2 very good vegetarian starters. The service was friendly and efficient.

Our family group of seven all gave thumbs up to the dinner at this Olive Garden (not to be confused with the chain in the U.S.). We ordered different dishes and found them to be authentic and very tasty. I had the Trofie al Pesto and would order it again. The meat lasagna received praise and the vegetarians also enjoyed their choices. There are vegetarian offerings, but our friends asked for one of the pasta dishes without the chicken and the cook kindly obliged. It seems to be a family-operated restaurant and all the staff are friendly and keen to see that their customers have a good experience. This is one neighborhood restaurant that we will go back to.

Busy during Wimbledon but it was friendly, quick service and good food so would come again next year.

Went Sunday 3rd July party of 4 one of our party was a little late (an umpire at tennis who had a late finish on court) but the restaurant was very nice served us drinks and waited for our 4th guest to arrive much appreciated. Our starters were delicious whitebait was superb our mains the same I had the lamb chops a little expensive but they were perfectly cooked and cut like butter. Would highly recommend the Olive Garden and will return. A shout out to the staff too very attentive and quick thank you for a pleasurable evening with good food.

Stopped in here for a bit of lunch last Friday. I had the chicken pesto pasta with sun-dried tomatoes. Amazing flavours with a nice welcoming and open feel to the place. Was nice to see tennis decorations up to celebrate Wimbledon which is just round the corner,

I took my grandchildren on Saturday, they chose Pizza i chose duck breast. The meal was served within 5 minutes of ordering . my meal was absolutely tasteless. after eating a few mouthfuls i decided to complain and was told they had served ten portions that day and had no complaints. I have eaten there many times and always been satisfied but i will never eat there again.
