Decidimos comer aquí porque nos llevó Tastecard el sábado por la noche, y nos apetecía probar un tipo diferente de cocina.

Good location about 5 mins walk from east Putney station. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. if you are not hungry you can just have a drink at the bar .will add to my regulars.

Just found this lovely new place in Putney. Really nice Lebanese food. The mixed grill was delicious and the owner kept giving us the wheat beer to try. Will definitely be back soon

Yia Mas realmente me impresionó, yo estaba en búsqueda de griego auténtico comedor y tropezamos con este restaurante situado en un precioso rincón en Upper Richmond Road.

Vivir en Putney y caminamos con mi esposa en la calle hacia Wandsworth para verlo.

Ate here with a friend and had the meze for £18. So much food we couldn't finish it. Delicious all the same. Service was great, I think he owned the place. He was so warm and friendly, we really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended!

Three of us dined here last night and already can't wait to go back. We all had a set mezze menu and it was fantastic. Exceptional service, lovely wine and the food was sensational. I couldn't fault a thing.

Esta fue mi primera vez ir al restaurante y sin duda no será la última. un pequeño y encantador restaurante fantástico con un servicio absolutamente excepcional. La comida era deliciosa desde los principiantes hasta los platos principales a la Paclava increíble y en tamaño generoso de parte y una relación calidad-precio. se lo recomendaría a todo el mundo y no puedo esperar para volver a probar más de la deliciosa comida!

This was our first time at Yia Mas but it will not be our last! The food was outstanding and so generous. The service was friendly and personal - I would recommend this place to anyone!

Hemos tenido nuestro primer aniversario de participación en julio ya que nos comprometimos en Grecia, pensado en ir a un restaurante griego. Habíamos leído tantas cosas buenas de este lugar tan reservado nuestro lugar para una noche especial.

I never normally write reviews but I feel this restaurant deserves one! I went here on a Friday night based on reviews of tripadvisor. There was 4 of us and we ordered the mezze to share. The owner was very accommodating, humorous and observative throughout our meal. As the dishes started to arrive - we realised we would be there for a while. The portions were large and the dishes many! The quality of food was surprisingly good. I have been to quite a few Greek/Cypriot tavernas/restaurants and this is definitely on of the better ones with an excellent mix of tasters in the set meal mezze. I would 100% recommend this place, and without a doubt I will be coming back here very soon. I suggest everyone who lives in the neighbourhood of this restaurant must go and check it out!

Ive been here twice and both times I've thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food is delicious, the Greek wine is ok but cheap and the service is great. There is a really relaxed and intimate atmosphere; I'm looking forward to going back.

This restaurant seems to be or completely full or absolutely empty. fitting with the quality of the manu: also a hit and miss.we had the tasting menu with lots of small dishes: some were quite good and other disappointing. it's probably an ok restaurant once you find the good dishes, also by exploring the mains. but nothing was that amazing that would make me go back.service is good although the owner was almost too pushy in asking us all the time if we were ok and wanted anything else.don't get me wrong it's not bad, but nothing really makes it stand out.

I went here with a young friend who had seen that it was offering half price dining with her dining card. It was a very good job that it was half price because even at £26 which was half the price of 2 starters and two main courses it was money for old rope. We both had grilled halloumi for starters. This was curiously pale and lacked taste. It could just as easily have been blotting paper. She ordered sword fish which came with lemon wedges and small saute potatoes. The fish was dry and unappealing. I ordered kotopoulo tavas which was unappetising lumps of chicken in a sauce heavily impregnated with an overdose of cumin and served with a lot of these same saute potatoes and a small mountain of some rice type stuff called pirakouri. Very heavy on carbohydrate ballast! I was only able to eat very little of the dish. We won't go back

We went as a large group to this restaurant - often a challenge. But the food and service was fantastic if not a little on the plentiful side. greek salad - lots of feta and large tomatoes, followed by meat, fish and more meat with lovely side orders - delicious. the wine wasn't bad either. And then all for £26 a head. Also we were all served at once and the staff were lovely.Definitely experince an evening here - well worth it and everybody felt like they were on holiday! Even with the rain outside!

We went on a Thursday and it was quite busy as there is a mid-week deal with taste card (50% off). It was really lovely, great portion size (as you'd expect from a true Greek restaurant!). Cant wait to go back for the Mezze :)Would recommend for foodies looking for a great deal.

Went to this restaurant on the basis of the very positive reviews on Tripadvisor but I think we were at a different place - it was awful! The food was poor and very inauthentic (the Greek salad consisted of a load of little gem lettuce, a couple of under-ripe tomatoes and a tiny dusting of feta - wrong, wrong wrong!), it was expensive for what we ate and the service was brusque to the point of rudeness. Menus were snatched from our hands, the waiter stormed off every time we took longer than a nano-second to decide anything and we felt hurried through our meal - again, very un-Greek. All the good restaurants in London and we chose this one - truly disappointing.

This restuarant is round the corner from my house had walked past it so many times (at the wrong time of day it would seem) as it alwasy looked quiet. However did some reserach and it's an institution where it's normally packed due to the great tasting food, charming service and atmosphere and good value. I went and loved it. Can't agree more. Have been back a couple of times and have planned to go again with a friend who's in London this week and loves Greek food. A great example of local, independent resaurants where the whole package makes for a great experience...Weekends are particularly good in terms of atmosphere.

Best service I've had in London hands down. Lovely intimate ambience inside, delicious food and faultless service. Do your self a favour and try it for yourself.

We first found Yiamas 4 years ago and have been regulars ever since. This family run Greek restaurant provides everything that the chain restaurants cannot. There aren't many places I've eaten where the remember you from the second or third visit, welcoming you with a handshake and a kiss. The food is good hearty authentic Greek cuisine which always makes me look forward to planning our annual Greek trip. It is fantastic value for money and of the many, many people we have taken there, nobody has ever been disappointed. It may be a little out of the way, but is well worth it. Once you've been once, you'll be back.
