My wife and I had the Mediterranean mezze platter, which was absolutely delicious and filled us up. The service was great and we would definitely go back.

Walked in on the off chance they had a table available and Jerry said he would find us one. Lovely little table outside, the food was absolutely beautiful! The staff were all so friendly, we will be back!

How many falafel in this order? Ordered 4, got 3 only… won’t blame the chef cuz I misunderstand it myself as well. Well… 3 for £30, crazy is it??? Not to mention takeaway order without any cutlery set provide.. falafel is nice, with very small portion. Probably won’t recommend and come ever again.

We arrived at the Olive Grove after a hectic day and rather stressful day. It was a Friday evening, we hadn't booked but fortunately the lady who greeted us made us feel instantly at ease. The decor is superb and the staff were great, the food we ate was delicious. Will definitely visit again next time in town. Thank you very much guys!

We ate a wonderful diner here. I took Libanese haloumi and my husband chose vegetarian tajine. Both were very tasty and large. My son ate a burger. The staff was very nice and the hospitality was great. I would definitely recommend to go there.

You MUST VISIT this Mediterranean restaurant when in Canterbury! The food is out-of-this-world delicious, hitting every right note. You'll feel completely pampered after dining here. The service is just as amazing, with staff who are both professional and friendly. The atmosphere truly captures the Mediterranean vibe. A special shout out to Jerry, who has been incredibly kind and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Do yourself a huge favour and try this restaurant – it's an 11/10! NB: Lamb Tagine, Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and their Chips are my to go to! Thank me later.

We had to wait 1/2 hr for food but it was worth the wait! The lamb shank was excellent. On ordering extras, we had to wait for servers to enter room, which was not that frequent. Happy that food was all halal.

Food was unbelievably good! We tried the chargrilled chicken with Saffron rice and chargrilled lamb with chips. We also had the seafood mezze. Great portion sizes. Mocktails were really yum! We tried the strawberry one and the passionfruit one. Also, we were given a virgin mojito on house. Exceptional customer service by Andrea. She recommended dishes with great detail. Jerry, the chef deserves a round of applause for the amazing food he put on the table. We will be back for more soon!

Beautiful place, friendly staff and really good food, delicious and flavoursome. The 3 dishes we had were are well cooked and seasoned. It is also a lovely place to dine in. Several different rooms, all tastefully decorated. Good location and easy to find too

We had a lovely time at the restaurant, the atmosphere was immaculate, workers were super friendly, and we were greeted by a very kind Algerian musician when we first came in (He told us that we will love the food, which we did!) We were also on a time crunch and the lovely waitress Diana, with her beautiful smile, helped us out so patiently. The food was prepared super quickly, was absolutely delicious, and accommodated for diverse dietary needs. Another thing that makes visiting this place a must is their atmosphere and interior design, it feels like you travelled somewhere else. WOW!!!!! Food and service…unreal. Seen this restaurant on TikTok and did not disappoint…olive & feta starter with rosemary bread and the most incredible meat main, that was enough for 2. The owner was sooooo welcoming, gave us a Hummus and a dessert on the house, we will 100% be back!!!!! Thank you!

We were very lucky to stumble across this restaurant yesterday. We ordered some Baba ganoush and a Targine both were delicious and so full of wonderful Morrocan flavours. The service was great helpful and added to the experience. Would definitely eat here again.

I always eat here when in Canterbury. Great Moroccan food but with an Italian menu alternative offering something for everybody. The chips are a must have. Ate there 20th June with excellent friendly service from Andrea.

Booked in advance for a quick bite to eat before our theatre booking. We both ordered the lasagna, it was hot, tasty and well cooked. The young waiting staff were very well trained, very attentive, extremely polite and efficient. Would definitely recommend!

One of those great finds, just walking along and thought why not try something a little different. Lovely decor and setting, excellently looked after and food was gorgeous. Almost forgot that it's actually good value too.

no salad with lasagna in a fairly big box which ment by the time I got it looked like something from a sloop bucket. A shame as been nice from here before

We stopped by for lunch and we're so happy we did. The restaurant is a feast for the eyes with beautiful, colorful decor. The wonderful food is served by conscientious and friendly staff. We will return to this gem on our next trip to Canterbury.

Food was absolutely outstanding!!! Honestly the best food I’ve had a in long time. I had the sea food pasta and OMG! Unreal. To start I had bruschetta and even that was amazing. So tasty!! I sat outside to start with but then it became a little chilly. I opted to sit upstairs in the olive branch restaurant rather than the restaurant that’s also within. (I believe there’s two menus in one restaurant) this meant that when I wanted to order something extra the lovely waitress wasn’t there to take my order. That’s literally the only thing I would feedback on. I kind of got forgotten about but honestly I didn’t mind as everything was so so wonderful. I guess I’d just say If someone’s upstairs bare that in mind. You just go to this restaurant when visiting Canterbury.

Nicely decorated place with friendly service from Jerry but food was just OK. The starter was nice and the chips were amazing but the pizza lacked flavour and the chicken was a bit dry. We ordered from the 2 course lunch menu but were charged more than the price advertised which I only realised afterwards. Not a lot of difference but that's not the point. Also, as we were paying the bill I could see through to the back of the kitchen and there was rubbish piled up on the floor which was a bit off putting. I probably wouldn't return.

We've visited the Olive Grove 4/5 times now, and each meal has been excellent. We love the choice between Lebanese and Italian menus, so this suits everyone in our family. Jerry is a fantastic host and owner. He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and cared for. This was the same of all staff we encountered. We loved the decor and interior of the restaurant, and it was clear that lots of love and effort went into this restaurant and the design. For starters, we ordered cheesy garlic bread and halloumi fries. Both were excellent and the bread was huge! My wife and I had the Lebanese menu, and both the Chicken Tagine and mixed grill were awesome. Cooked well, fresh ingredients, big portions, and full of flavour. I love the beef and almond rice. My son loved his spaghetti bolognese and could finish this due to it being so large! If we were going straight home, then we would have taken Jerry up on the offer of a takeaway holder for this, but we had a show to see. The dessert was just as nice as the mains, and we loved every course! We highly recommend this gem of a restaurant for a number of reasons - the food, staff, and ambience created from the interior.

One of the best lebanese food I’ve had in the UK. Our server, Jerry, was very kind and attentive and even gave us a a dessert on the house for my friend’s birthday. It was a pleasure to dine at Olive Grove, definitely coming back.

Excellent, tasty meal and really good service. We popped in for dinner and had a beautiful meal. My husband had lasagne and he is a bit of a coniseur when it comes to lasagne, having had them all over the Mediterranean. He was delighted with his meal. I had the smoked chicken and it was soooo good! So much that I couldn't quite finish it, which was woeful.

The food in this place is horrible. - We went for lunch last week (April 2024) I took my mother for a birthday celebration and sadly we had the most horrible experience with the food. - The lamb chops were freezing cold and it looked that they were cooked yesterday and barely re-heat it to be put in the plate. What a disgusting experience. the waitress took them back and came back 5 minutes later with them possible being put in the microwave. The salad that came in the plate came warm because they clearly put the whole plate in the microwave. Absolutely horrible experience. They said they can't do anything else and we had to eat that. - My food had a hair in it! so horrible. We had to pay everything even though we did not eat much. Please don't go there, it is very disgusting

2 pieces of pitta for two dips, absolutely freezing. Not even defrosted properly. Brushetta on same bread. Was an unopened mussel in pasta, waitress said this does happen a lot, ludicrous! Warm wine, £99 for two people. Pleasant staff , nice surroundings. Far to expensive for what you get, really small portions

Disappointing. Went with family for lunch today. Was given a menu , no further info given.Ordered food. The starter of mushrooms was tiny in a very small bowl! Once we had eaten, I went to use the bathroom and on route I noticed there was a buffet with various foods on display I asked the waitress if there would have been an option for that food, was advised, yes, this was an all you can eat buffet!!! Not offered to us. We were very disappointed, as we would have liked to have had the option of the buffet. Poor communication and very small portions.

Staying at a very nearby hotel and very hungry, we called in here because it was the nearest. What a wonderful find. Quirky and with incredible decor! The young and efficient staff immediately greeted and seated us. We didn't realise at that point that it is 4 floors high (be warned the toilets are on the top floor) and before long the place really filled up. A lovely varied menu with Greek, Libyan and Moroccan dishes. Everything was well cooked and the background music was brilliant and non-invasive, so you could still have a conversation. The place has such a lovely ambiance that diners at the other tables in our little alcove were happy to smile and pass the odd few words with us. It was clear that every customer was very happy with their choice of both venue and food. Canterbury is filled with Italian chain pizza restaurants and this was a lovely change. We were so glad we chose it as it was the best place we ate at over 3 days. Can heartily recommend.

The restaurant should concentrate on one cuisine; either Lebanese or Italian. As it happens they do both, and neither particularly well. I had a pizza with sweet dough base with cardamom and raisins and the beef had distinct flavour of cinnamon which resulted in the most confused pizza I had ever tasted. My daughter in law and her mother had Lebanese: burned lamb, dry chicken. I am afraid the restaurant has to do an awful lot better and it would be a star if they decided if they wanted to serve Italian or Lebanese cuisine. P. s booming dreadful music with awful cover versions of songs....

Ordered easily and food arrived nicely before time, although the meal was thrown in a box altogether rather than be separate containers. It was very very dry, unfortunately after eating half of the meal it to dry to continue.

A major let down as this is a highly conveniently sited restaurant with an entertaining and interesting interior. The staff are pleasant (although the head guy comes across as being on the dour and indifferent side). Big problem is that the food is poor quality. I had a pizza that was masses of dough slapped together with a bit of cheese and some olives added (plus there was no draught beer available despite two types being on the menu). My wife's Lebanese moussaka was also like a larger starter than a main course (and with some items apparently missing). Even these meagre dishes took a long time to come.

Food was good. Portions were small for the price. We paid £2 extra for a large pizza but they sent a regular sized one. Otherwise happy with our order.

Service: Excellent, the employee is cheerful and works hard. the demand: Pesto pasta: The dish consists of vegetables and boiled pasta, and the pesto does not contain an onion. Rating 1/10. Vegetable pizza: Excellent dough, but the taste of the sauce has an unpleasant smell for me. Rating: 8/10 There is a bathroom on the second floor.

Organised a large party event for Saturday evening - Alexandria and the team looked after us incredibly well. Always a helpful smile and attentive across the whole group. The food was terrific and everyone commented on how good their meals were - lots of different choices from both Italian and Lebanese menus. Would definitely recommend for a large group!

We loved this place. The food was delicious and a wide range of both Lebanese and Italian. We started with the rosemary bread and then had chicken kebab for the main. Really beautifully cooked and plenty of it. Lovely environment. Staff were really friendly and attentive.

Went here with 7 family members for lunch on Friday as it's such a good location in Canterbury. We were seated upstairs and really felt comfortable in this restaurant. Our food was amazing with lots of choice - the wine was good and reasonably priced. I would particularly like to thank the waitress who ran up and down those stairs so many times and was really pleasant and attentive. We were there over 2 hours and had a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be going again.
